Forced into the castle

Genesis knew something was wrong when she came home from slaughtering goblins to meet some men in guard armor in her house, Her first thought was that her adoptive parent, Ziva, Had avoided paying her tax again, She was about to take out her sword but one look at Ziva told her that those men were here for some other reason, so tenaciously, she asked

''Who are these people, Ziva?''

Ziva looked very anxious and looked from Genesis to the stern looking guards before saying, ''You know how I told you you were adopted?'' stopping only to look at Genesis nodding to response, ''Well, the guards from the town you belong from came to get you back''

Genesis was astounded, Her parents who never cared about her since birth wanted her back?, But guards?, Who are her parents anyways that they could afford guard to escort her?, Would they force her out of her lifestyle?, Were they nice people?

As if already guessing what she was about to ask, Ziva responded with ''Your biological mother wants you back in the castle, There's nothing I can do, These men in uniforms are going to take you Zakiro city, Okay?, It's all going to be okay.''

Yet even Ziva didn't look like they believed it, They engulfed Genesis in a hug and said, ''You have my number, Feel free to call me anytime, Come and visit if you can, I love you.''

And with no one asking for Genesis's say at all she only nodded and said ''I love you too'' before being escorted through the back door to an obsolete chariot with a horses and a horseman, It looked like Genesis was going to have to go back a couple centuries for this family, But she did not protest, Instead she walked into the chariot and sat there.

''Your highness, Please make yourself comfortable, This ride may take some time.'' said one of the guards.

''Your highness?''

Who really were Genesis's parents?, Why did Ziva not hesitate to give her back?

Before long Genesis had started to think of all the reasons Ziva didn't hesitate

Genesis was born a very unlucky child, She couldn't a lot of things correctly and the only thing she excelled at was being a ''hero'' of some kind, She was abandoned at birth as the orphanage warden told her, Although she could never do anything right, She was quite a popular person in the warden as she was kind and she had a sense of justice, She always helped anyone who was in trouble and did not quarrel with anyone, Everyone was sad to see her go, And Genesis was too, The person who had adopted Genesis was Ziva, Ziva was one of the nicest souls she had ever met, They treated Genesis like their very own child and Genesis was grateful, Ziva was a honest person and had told Genesis since she was old to understand what it meant that she was adopted, Even though she had never told anyone this, She often wondered who her parents were and why they left her, But Ziva was enough for her, Ziva was not very wealthy so Genesis went to the local public schools, But she wasn't really interested in the subjects there and she had very frequently skipped school to go adventuring, When she went adventuring, She was whole, It was like her unlikeness couldn't reach her, And the job helped her give Ziva financial aid as Ziva's job did not pay them as much as give them joy, Genesis had set her mind on it many days ago that if there was any way for her to help Ziva, She would take the opportunity, If her parents were wealthy enough, maybe she could support Ziva steadily.

Genesis sighed as slaughtering ogres took it's toll as she slowly fell asleep from exhaustion

''Your majesty wake up''

Genesis heard as she was half-asleep

''Hmm, I wonder who that is?'' Genesis said in a half sleep daze

Genesis was awakened by a guard tapping her shoulder, In which she responded with a jump, ''Who are you?'' the guard simply smiled at her and told her she was at her parents house, In which Gensis quickly remembered and looked out enthusiastically for her parents house, Rich merchants usually had two story houses, Some even having pools, but as she came out, She only saw a castle with a huge patio and flowing fountain, This place looked like it held twenty swimming pools!, With hesitation, Genesis asked the guard ''I don't understand, Is my parents house behind this castle?''

To this she got no response other than the guards walking to the castle gates, opening them and then each one going to their knees as they said, ''Welcome back, Your Majesty'' they didn't even bother to explain as one of the guards led her inside and told her to go up the stairs to a room with a satin blue door, She nodded and started walking up the stairs, ''Where was she?, Why was she in a castle?, Did her parents just so happen to be important people in the court?, Like royal advisors?, And what was this country of Zakira?, Why did everything look so 19th century?'' pushing all those thoughts aside she realized she was at her room, Her first instinct was to dive deep into her bed and have a nap as the guards had made sure she didn't bring any of her personal belongings except what she was currently wearing, She guessed now that they were probably going to buy a more expensive set of clothes for her, So she lazed about even bringing out her phone to text some of her friends.

Before she could do that, She heard a knock on the door and a high pitched voice say ''Can come in, your highness?'' would this finally be someone coming to explain what was going on?, She quickly stood up to open the door, She was shocked to see that it was a young girl about her age with flaming red hair, She wore a green shirt with black trousers, Basically she looked normal, The first normal person she had seen in the castle, The only problem was that she was frowning at her, ''Your majesty, why are you not changed?, You are scheduled to meet their royal highnesses in an hour!'' before the girl started cursing the guards in a whisper, confused Genesis asked, ''I am?, Who are you?'', it was only then the girl looked at her directly and said, ''My name is Shanti and I am your lady in waiting, I am also the person who will be blamed if you are late so start moving!, In that wardrobe there are some garments that may be to your taste, I chose them myself, Pick one and come with me, We have much to do before you are ready to meet their majesties!''

Genesis hurriedly changed and left with Shanti.
