**[3rd person POV ]**

On that day, an earthquake rippled across the world.

The calamity-class monster, Storm Dragon Veldora, had vanished. Known as the living calamity, he had been sealed for 300 years. His disappearance hinted at his return somewhere in the world. Yet, twenty days later, the Western Saints Church announced that his presence had completely vanished.

It had been 30 days since Rimuru consumed Veldora. Now named Rimuru Tempest, the slime navigated the cave where Veldora had been sealed, seeking an exit. As Rimuru maneuvered through the cave, he killed and consumed various monsters, acquiring skills like "Body Armor," "Water Manipulation," "Paralyzing Breath," "Poisonous Breath," "Steel Thread," "Sticky Thread," "Thought Communication," "Ultrasonic Waves," and "Voice Cannon."

[Time skip]

At the entrance of the sealed cave, in the great forest of Jura, three people struggled to open the gate. They were Kaval's Party, B-rank adventurers sent by the Blumund branch of the Free Guild to investigate Veldora's disappearance.

Kaval's Party is a party of 3 adventures consisting of two males and one female

Kaval is leader of his adventure's party, where he serves as the 'fighter'. He is one of the two males of the party Alongside Gido, he is also tasked as the secret bodyguard of Lady Elyun Grimwald under the guise of an adventurer. Kaval is a young man with medium length hair, seemingly in his prime.

Gido on the other hand has a tall and strong build and a rectangular head. His brown hair is cut short. His cheeks have distinct depressions. He serves the role of "thief" within the party. he is also tasked as the secret bodyguard of Lady Elyun Grimwald under the guise of an adventurer.

Elyun Grimwald is the only female of the Kaval's Party, she serves as the Mage within the party. She is also secretly a member of the Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion's royal family. Elyun is a young woman of fair stature with blonde hair and green eyes. She has special markings under her eyes and wears a blue tie-on headband.

**[Rimuru's POV]**

After gaining the name "Rimuru Tempest" and consuming Veldora, I decided to explore the cave in search of the exit. As I explored, I learned how to communicate using sound weaving. After 120 days, I finally reached the cave's entrance. This cave was massive; it took me 120 days to fully explore it. While contemplating whether to open it, I saw three individuals trying to enter from outside. Upon closer inspection, I recognized them as Elyun, Kaval, and Gido, the elf princess and her bodyguards, as well as a party of B-rank adventurers.

Upon exiting the cave, I asked Raphael where I could find goblins.

"Hey Raphael-san, where can I find goblins?" I inquired.

(Master, you can find goblins to the north of the forest,)

Raphael replied.

Rimuru: "Thanks, Raphael-san."

Raphael: (You're welcome, Master.)

Following Raphael's guidance, I slid toward the northern part of the forest. Remembering I had completely sealed my aura, I spoke with Raphael again.

"Hey Raphael-san, could you release some of my aura so the goblins could notice my presence?"

Raphael: (Master, if you wish to release your aura, it is advised to release around 2% so the goblins will be intimidated but not harmed.)

Raphael suggested.

"Okay, release around 2% of my aura."

Having confirmed this, I resumed sliding forward. As I released my aura into the surroundings, I sensed that no monsters were within a hundred meters of me.

As I was sliding, I suddenly sensed a group of monsters approaching. After a while, they finally appeared before me. In front of me stood a group of thirty human-like monsters. They had small bodies and crude equipment, covered in a thin layer of dirt with expressions that lacked intelligence. However, they weren't completely barbaric—some carried swords, spears, stone axes, and bows. They were goblins. Many of their swords were rusted, and their bodies were thin. Some had patched together rotting cloth for clothing.

One stepped forward, likely the future Rigur, and spoke.

"O strong one... Do you have any business ahead?" he asked.

"Me, strong one? Is that what you meant?" I responded using 'thought communication.'

"Yes, we felt the aura of a strong monster, so we came here as a precaution and saw you releasing that colossal aura," another goblin explained.

After hearing this, I sealed my aura and asked, "So you came here as a precaution after sensing a strong monster?"

"Yes, strong one," the supposed leader replied.

"So, what do you need from me? I don't have any particular reason to go this way," I said.

"Our village stands on this path, which is why we were inquiring," he explained.

We discussed many things, including their god Veldora's recent disappearance and the resulting unrest among monsters. Finally, I asked them to lead me to their village.

"Alright, lead me to your village."

The goblins led me to their village, a dirty settlement. Even so, they guided me to the best-looking building, though it was shabby by any standard.

"We apologize for making you wait, honored guest," an elder goblin said, entering the structure.

"Ah... don't mind it. I hadn't been waiting that long," I responded.

The Goblin Elder introduced himself, "We humbly apologize for the poor accommodations. I currently serve as this village's chief."

"So, for what reason have you gone out of your way to invite me here?" I asked while sipping the tea they offered.

"If I may, you are aware of the recent increase in activity among the monsters, correct?" he asked.

I nodded.

"We have lived peacefully under the protection of our god; however, he seems to have disappeared about a month ago. With his disappearance, nearby monsters have begun invading. Our forces are not strong enough to repel them," he explained, kneeling before me.

"Strong one, please offer us your protection."

"What will you give me in return for my protection?" I asked.

"We offer our loyalty! Please protect us. If you do, we shall forever serve you!" the elder pleaded.

"Very well! I shall accept your request in exchange for your loyalty," I agreed.

The goblin village celebrated. I asked about the number of direwolves and goblins. The elder informed me there were about a hundred goblins, including females, with only sixty able to fight due to injuries from their battles with the direwolves. I requested to see the injured goblins and used full potions to heal them completely, bringing joy to the villagers. We then discussed plans regarding the direwolves.

In another part of the forest, the direwolf leader spoke to his pack.

"Sharpen your claws! Tonight, we'll attack the goblin village and rule the Jura Forest. Without the Storm Dragon Veldora, we can claim the forest without opposition."

**[Time-skip]**

As I awaited the direwolves' attack, I noticed their pack approaching, led by their alpha at the front. When they neared us, I used Uriel's "Law Manipulation" to control the wind and slice the leader in half.

After killing the pack leader, I advanced, releasing a portion of my destruction aura, and declared, "Direwolves, come and be my subordinates. If not, I will eliminate you all right now."

Feeling my overwhelming aura, all the direwolves kneeled before me. The son of the fallen pack leader, likely the future Ranga, spoke in a trembling voice.

"We, the direwolves, pledge our loyalty to you."

In an instant, all direwolves and goblins became my first subordinates.

**[Time-skip, next morning]**

Today's task was naming. Naming each monster individually would be too much hassle, so I consulted Raphael.

Raphael: (Master, it is possible to name all the monsters easily by creating a skill like auto-naming using Creation God Yahweh,)

Raphael suggested.

"Hey Raphael-san, could you create such a skill?"

Raphael: (Creating extra skill 'Auto Naming' using 'Creation God Yahweh' successfully,)

Raphael confirmed.

"You're the best, Raphael-san. Thank you."

I said

Raphael replied

Raphael: (You're welcome, Master.)

Raphael replied

I called the Goblin Elder.

"Goblin Elder!"

"Yes, Lord Rimuru?" he responded promptly.

"Gather everyone here!" I ordered.

"Yes, Lord Rimuru," he said, quickly relaying the message. Despite their lack of intelligence, they were surprisingly competent.

"Everyone is here, Lord Rimuru!" the Goblin Elder announced.

"Guys, today you are gathered here because I have something in mind for you. I am going to name all of you," I announced, causing silence.

"L... Lord Rimuru, did you just say you're naming us?" the elder asked.

"Yes, it will signify that you are my subordinates. Is there a problem with that?" I replied.

"N... no, Lord Rimuru, but the consequences of naming someone..."

"Well, I understand the consequences of naming someone, and it doesn't matter to me. So I am going to name all of you!"

After selecting a few goblins and direwolves, like the future Ranga, Rigurd, Gobta, and Rigur, and naming them myself, I asked Raphael to name the rest.

"Hey Raphael, could you auto-name the remaining goblins and direwolves?"

Raphael: (Using auto-naming on selected targets successfully,)

Raphael confirmed.

After naming them, they all went to sleep. Three hours later, they awoke, evolved into hobgoblins and Tempest wolves.

To be continued…
