Classes proceeded as normal, and by normal I meant completely boring. Not gonna lie I spent most of my time formulating on what to say to Allison properly.
I would just talk to her during class but I know Allison, and she pays attention in all her classes, well that is if I can't help it for the future classes.
Anyway I spent the day just daydreaming, I mean I memorized the textbooks the second I looked at them with my Vampire prowess so there was no point in listening to a teacher explain about them.
Finally, after long and tiring hours, the bell rang as everyone got up and left the class.
Allison got up to go to her locker as well and she just gave me the look of,' Are you coming, or should I go myself?'
Neither of us have said a word, probably because we don't know what to say. I mean we did text sometimes in the past but we drifted a little over the years, kinda hard to keep in touch by staying in different countries.
I followed Allison to her locker, and it was the most awkward walk ever. I mean, I didn't know what to say!
'Fuck it, the next time I get a chance, I am going to just say something,' I thought as we reached her locker.
As we reached the locker, I felt a tingle on my Vampire senses. I could literally feel Scott's eyes trying to take a look at Allison.
Little did I know, my body unconsciously moved to block his view of her.
Allison just looked at me while smiling. She opened her mouth, seeming like she was about to say something, and of course Lydia had to walk in.
'Sigh, I should have known it's all following cannon,' I thought as Lydia walked in front of Allison.
"That jacket is absolutely killer. Where did you get it?" Lydia asked.
"My mom was a buyer for a boutique back in Sam Francisco," Allison explained.
"And you are my new best-friend," Lydia said while laughing, and Jackson came in and kissed Lydia.
"So, this weekend, there is a party," Lydia said.
"A party?" Allison asked while looking at me.
You see Allison and I sort of developed this thing when we were younger, we could essentially communicate with barely any words and eye contact.
She was basically asking,' Do you want to go with me to the party?'
I gave her a look of complete disinterest. Luckily, we still had that 'connection' and she interpreted my look correctly.
I basically said to her,' A party? With them? Not interested.'
"Yeah, Friday night. You should come." Jackson said to Allison.
"Ah, I can't, it's family night this Friday. Thanks for asking." Allison declined politely.
"You sure, I mea..." Jackson was trying to convince her when I said.
"Jackson, don't you have try-outs? Go on for try-outs or your might lose your tittle as Vice-Captain." I said to Jackson.
He looked at me with anger.
I could tell what he was thinking. It probably went along the lines of,' You have the richest parents in the whole world, your smart enough to get perfect grades, your super talented in sports and you look perfect. Why do you have everything on a silver platter.' Oh, the irony of his thoughts.
I mean, I had to die to get what I have, but he doesn't need to know that.
"And don't you also have try-outs?" Lydia asked me.
"No I do not. The coach said I automatically become captain due to my contributions in the field and generous donations to the team." What that meant was, I carried the team last year, and I am basically funding it, so obviously I need no try-outs.
"Let's go Lydia," Jackson said as he pulled Lydia away.
'Finally, they are gone,' I thought.
I looked towards Allison who was leaning her back onto the lockers and slightly slouching her legs all while looking at me.
I moved slightly closer, not too close like a couple, yet not too far like we are just friends.
"Family night? Since when did you have family night on Fridays?" I said while teasing her.
"Shut up, it's not like you gave me a lot of choices there. Why didn't you want to go? Did I become unattractive after moving away or something?" She asked while holding my shirt and pulling my slightly forward.
"No, it's just do you really want out first real 'outing' to be a party?" I asked.
"Outing?" She asked giggling.
She knew I didn't want to say the words 'date,' but she was pushing it.
The reason why I did not want to say it here is because I wanted the place I asked her out to be special. Not the school corridor, but if that's what it has to be then so be it.
Fine! She wants to play it that way.
"I don't want out first real date to be a party with people you don't even know," I said while leaning my hand on the locker.
"And who said I want to go out with you?" She asked while smiling.
"Oh, you don't want to? That's fine with me." I said while acting like nothing happened. I pulled my hand back and walked away.
She immediately got flustered and grabbed my hand and said in a flustered manner," Wait, wait. You know I didn't mean it that way."
I smiled at her teasingly," I know."
"Sigh, you scared me," she said while sighing.
But the next second her beautiful smile came back and she wrapped her hand around mine. It looked really natural and comfortable. Almost as if we were a couple for ages.
"How about the Team Captain Earl show me a reason as to why I must go on a date with him on the Lacrosse field." Allison said while sticking her nose very close to my face.
We didn't even properly go on a date, yet we knew that we both liked each other. But she also knew that we both didn't want to have our first kiss in a place like this, so she daringly kept her face to mine, knowing I wouldn't kiss her.
I was tempted. I was so tempted that I had to activated my 'Rational Thinking,' skill to calm myself down. I then pinched her cute nose.
"Ow, what was that for," she asked while rubbing her nose.
"You have no idea how long I have been wanting to do that." I said while smiling.
"Let's go, you want me to show off more don't you?" I said as we both left for the Lacrosse field.
...
As we were both walking to the field, I saw Lydia half-way and I asked her to take Allison to the field as I went to change.
I soon walked to the field in my Lacrosse field, only to see the coach asking Scott to play goalie.
"I've never played goal."
"I know, scoring some shots will give the boys a confidence boost. It's a first day back thing. Get them energized, fired up."
Scott then saw me walking over and gave me a pleading look.
Flintock turned around and was surprised to see me.
"Earl, I thought I told you that you don't need to come to come for practice on the first day." He said.
"I know coach but I wanted to come to the field today and practice. By the way coach I think it's a wonderful idea for Scott to play goal." I said.
"See McCall, even the captain said it." And then he left.
"Dude what was that?" Asked Scott.
"You see Scott goal is the most simple and easiest place to impress coach. And, you will have more than 1 opportunity to prove yourself to make first line." I explained.
I then patted his shoulder and went to queue up.
I saw Allison talking with Lydia, so I got curious and listen in on their conversation.
"Is Earl really good at Lacrosse?" Allison asked Lydia.
"Yeah he is pretty good. In my opinion he is second to only Jackson," Lydia said.
'Please, I could literally blow away your boy-friend,' I thought.
"Really? But isn't the team captain supposed to be the strongest on the team?" Allison asked confused.
Lydia was slightly taken aback and didn't know how to reply. I mean, how could she? The captain should be the strongest, but she didn't want to make Jackson seem like he was lesser in front of me.
"It's starting," Lydia said, trying to divert the topic.
Then as per cannon, the ball hit Scott's face.
'This guy, how much did he like her on the first freaking day? Wanting to listen into their conversation even though she clearly isn't interested,' I thought.
Soon started his montage of catching everyone's shots. Well, almost everyone's.
When it was my turn, I used my telekinesis skill to make the ball curve. I mean, if he is cheating, why should I not?
Then came the physical part of the training. I mean the show only did show the first part, the next was a physical fitness test.
And what do you know, I got first place. Scott was trying his hardest to catch up to me and used his inhumane speed, but I made it seem like I barely won.
I was actually sweating unlike last time so I could actually fake being tired.
After everything ended, I went back with a relatively happy Scott and an overly excited Stiles to the locker room.
After that, I met Allison back at the school entrance.
Honestly, it was still amazing for me to look at her, she looked really attractive. I felt like I could just look at her forever.
As I walked up to her, she looked up at me and said," You were pretty amazing out there."
"I know," I replied smugly.
"Where do you want to go now?" She asked.
"Let's go get something to eat."
"So is this going to be our first date?" She asked teasingly.
"It's better than going to a party filled with Lacrosse players."
"Aren't you one of the Lacrosse players?" She asked.
"I am an exception," I simply stated.
"Now, who's car do you want to take?" I asked, 100% thinking she would say mine. I mean why wouldn't she, it was awesome.
"Let's take my car. Your one is a little too... flashy." She said.
'Crack,' I swear to god I heard my heart crack. Until now I thought my car looked awesome, but she thought it looked flashy.
I just weakly nodded as she brought me over to her car.
...
Well, dinner was nice. The food wasn't what I was used to, I mean I can cook at an expert chef's level, but spending more time with Allison was nice.
It was raining heavily outside so we couldn't really spend anymore time just hanging out after we ate our food, and we didn't want to spend more time in the restaurant.
She was driving me back to my mansion as a dog came out of the blue. It seemed like it was trying to cross the road and right before we hit it, I pulled the steering wheel to the side.
We skid for a little bit as the car stopped as Allison asked completely shocked and angry," WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"
She obviously didn't see the dog.
I just ignored her and got out of the car.
(A/N: I do not know the dog bread so let's just say the dog is a white canine, I don't even know if that species exists)
As I saw the petrified dog which almost got run over but did not die, I thought,' This dog will be a good first bond.'
