4 Chapter 4

"So your job is to take these two bells from me before noon. Those you don't have a bell by noon will not get any lunch." Kakashi says as he shows us two bells hanging by a thread which he held on his fingers.

"As you can see there are only two bells here, so one of you is deemed to fail in this test provided you are able to snatch both the bells from me., the person who fails would be sent back to the academy. Am I clear?" Kakashi continues in a grave voice trying to scare us.

"Roger that." I said to which Kakashi replies "Alright, let's get started then, ready...START!"

The moment Kakashi said start all three of us ran in different directions to hide and once we all were successfully hidden. I to be honest had no desire to waste my energy on this. So I just did a shadow clone jutsu and called out ten shadow clones and ordered them to go hide in different places in the forest and attack Kakashi if he gets close to them.

Even though I don't want to act...I'll still need to act like I'm trying at least, hence I made those shadow clones. They'll act for me while I'll just relax on top of this tree. Even if I gave my best using Naruto's past battle experience in my brain to the fullest I have no chance of getting the bell from him nor am I smart enough to think of a good strategy to take one of the bells from him... I'll just wait and observe how things play out.

After making up my mind I lied down on a big branch of the tree on my chest and observed how things play out. I was able to see Kakashi still standing at the place from where we all ran in different directions. He was standing in a carefree manner and seeing that we were waiting to look for an opportunity he took out that ecchi novel from behind him and started reading it.

It was all as expected for me, but I don't think Sasuke and Sakura were pleased seeing Kakashi underestimating them. After around an hour and a half of waiting Sasuke lose his patience and decided to take action even though it meant revealing his location.

He did that most probably because he underestimated Kakashi Sensei as he didn't show us his true ability till now unlike in the original where Naruto's reckless actions gave Kakashi plenty of opportunities to show his strength in front of them, hence making Sasuke even more cautious...which cleary was not the case here.

Three Kunai's soon closed in on Kakashi from his back which he easily dodged but the direction in which he dodged he was welcomed by Sasuke's fire breath technique at point-blank range thereby ending up being covered by the blames fully.

Sasuke had a smug expression seeing that Kakashi got caught in his flames but that face soon was gone when after the smoke dissipated the area was empty with no sign of Kakashi Sensei.

Suddenly a hand grabbed Sasuke's leg from the ground and pushed him inside the ground till his neck. Kakashi got out from the hole he dug using his Jutsu when the fireball was closing in on him.

"Phew, that was close," Kakashi said and continued "Keep it up, that was a good attempt" as he patted Sasuke's head to which Sasuke just gave out an annoyed sound.

Kakashi moved around the area to search for us, quite a few of my shadow clones were defeated along the way, I felt good seeing that, one can't say that I'm lazing around thanks to them. Soon enough I heard Sakura's scream...must be Kakashi Sensei using genjutsu on her.

When all my clones were defeated I made 3 more clones and ordered them to attack Kakashi together in a frontal attack a few minutes before the time was up and then I would appear...and before we could start fighting the time would be up.

I followed my plan and the result was as expected, I acted like I was gonna attack Kakashi but at the exact moment, the time was up and he said, "All right time's up, come out everyone." Kakashi said and I stopped myself hearing that.

Sasuke and Sakura soon arrived at the area and both of them were in an awful mood what followed, later on, was Kakashi's lecture on how much of a failed Shinobi we were and we all should just give up.

"For those who still want to try can try again after finishing their lunch, don't give any food to Sakura thought," Kakashi said.

"Huh? Why?!!" Sakura cried out. "It's for being the most useless in the team, I thought Naruto was the most useless but it was you who contributed the least. Anyone who gives her food will fail immediately. Kakashi said with a grave voice.
