Killer B now looked at the two shinobi in front of him. One of them he knew, Konoha's Tempest, but the other was new. He was able to conjure a rock wall strong enough to block his (admittedly weak) Tailed beast Ball. Things were getting a little more serious now, it seemed.
Kannin and Tetsu both ran at their enemy from each side. Kannin saw the earth rise up at the height of Tetsu's step, allowing him to climb into the air, and punch down at B; Kannin, on the other hand, gathered wind chakra behind the crest of Koseki's edge. As they released their attacks, a vicious gathering of wind also appearing on the fists of Tetsu, large, purplish tentacles erupted from B's back and blocked them--except the blade of Koseki itself managed to cleave away the portion of tentacle that was summoned.
Kannin saw this opportunity and seized it: he quickly reversed the motion of Koseki and planted it through the right foot of Killer B, and summoned his Adamantine Chains to grasp the portion of the Hachibi's tentacle that was just cut off. Feeling the surge of chakra entering his body through the chains, he finally knew that his secret weapon would work, though he never liked revealing it.
Killer B saw the tip of the tentacle wrinkle up like a raisin after being impaled by those chains and knew they were bad business. He pulled the sword out of his foot with a yelp and batted the two back with more tentacles. They regrew quickly, but that didn't mean instantly. He knew he couldn't let these kids off easy anymore.
Holding a sword in each hand, and with 4 tentacles waving about from behind his back, Killer B sent another wave of with water release. Kannin, now unburdened by wielding Koseki, responded in kind, using his newly acquired chakra to summon a massive water wall to counter B's, who clicked his tongue in disappointment.
Kannin also knew that he would need to be more liberal with the use of his cards--he didn't want to die without even showing his abilities. Tetsu saw 6 large chains of a dull, silvery-grey material emerging from Kannin's trunk, whipping around violently.
Kannin looked over and said, "Tetsu, no more holding back, yeah?"
Tetsu nodded and replied, "No more holding back."
They each rushed at their enemy, Tetsu sending dozens of Earth release jutsus at him: rocks, dust, clumps of dirt, sharp stones, even a few crystals, all floated in the air around him, continuously flying at B. B was using his tentacles to block the projectiles, but that's when Kannin's chains embedded themselves into them, and pulled them away, draining a lot of chakra in the process. B spewed a fountain of blue water from his mouth to block the incoming stones, and swatted the chains off his tentacles.

Within the mind of B
"Those chains are bad news, B." the Hachibi said, "they're draining our chakra quickly."
"Yeah," B said, "and it even looks like the chakra is being delivered to the kid, bolstering his jutsus."
"He has to be target number 1, yeah?"
"Yeah."

Tetsu and Kannin watched as B sprinted at Tetsu, and with seemingly wanton disregard for safety, lashed out at him, beating on him with his tentacles until Tetsu couldn't move. Kannin was rushing to his side when he saw another Tailed Beast Ball begin forming just a few feet away from his friend. He immedately stuck two of his chains into the tentacles, hoping to drain as much chakra away from the ball as possible.
Tetsu wasn't just sitting there, though. Struggling against the tentacles which now wrapped around him, he managed to form the hand seals for a basic earth jutsu, which sunk the earth beneath B's feet, throwing him and his aim off.
The Tailed Beast Ball, which hadn't grown nearly to the size they'd hoped, was sent careening through the air, as Kannin reached B, swiping at him with a Lightning chakra imbued kunai. That's when B's attention shifted in an instant. He suddenly threw Tetsu to the side, and turned to Kannin, who at this point had gotten too close. He quickly enveloped Kannin and his chains with is tentacles, and, at a decent distance, gathered chakra in his mouth.
A stream of fire emerged from his mouth, blazing at a heat Kannin hadn't felt aside from Warai. The flame ballooned to a massive size as it approached him, roaring like a bonfire, when Kannin felt behind him another surge of blistering heat. He watched as column of deep reddish-orange came from behind him and intercepted B's.
Using this distraction to his advantage, Kannin pressed out with his chains and slipped out from the grasp of B's tentacles, looking over to see who had come to save him again, this time seeing the black hair and red eyes of Uchiha Warai, sweat beading down her temples and a kunai in hand.
Dusting himself off, Kannin. looked at his old friend, and said with grin,
"Glad to see you could make it, Warai"
"Is it so hard to say thank you?" She said with her own smirk.
"Alright!" they heard Tetsu shout as he ran back over, "The gang's back in action together! How long's it been Kannin?"
"Not since Madoromi Pass" Kannin and Warai said at the same time
Killer B watched as the single shinobi he was fighting just a few minutes ago turn into 2, and then 3. From the eyes on the third one, he could tell she was an Uchiha, which put him on edge. He wasn't afraid of genjutsu, thanks to the Hachibi, but the Sharingan was still a fearsome weapon in the right hands.
He decided then it was time to either flee and leave his mission unfulfilled, or go into tailed beast mode and end this.

Around 2 miles away, Shin stood leaning on the post of her tent, gazing off into the distance where she learned her kids were fighting, when suddenly she saw a creature emerge from the horizon. A grotesque purplish thing with an ox head and 8 tails whipping around behind it rose from the forest floor
