39.Sage of Six Paths

Naruto intently looked at Zetsu and spoke "I know all about the history of this world Zetsu and I feel pity for only one person in this world and that's your Mother Kaguya. She was betrayed by the people she wished to protect and sealed inside the moon by her own children whom she wanted to protect. So I will definitely help you release her." Zetsu was scared beyond words. He just reconfirmed "You will really help me? What do you want in return?"

Naruto then spoke his requirements "I'll definitely help you Zetsu. The only thing I want in return is half of all the tailed beasts chakra". Hearing this, Zetsu started thinking, but Kurama shouted "Brat, I believed you and you want to sacrifice me?" Naruto left Zetsu to think and entered his mindscape "Kurama, you are the only real friend I got in this world. I'll never betray you even if I die. Well, I've already died once. I have a replacement for your chakra. And to revive her, we only need a tails worth of your chakra like the amount you passed on to Karin". Kurama thought for a moment and asked "It's fine, but why revive her who was sealed by my father? She is dangerous". Naruto replied "You will know soon Kurama. I'll tell you once we finish business with Zetsu".

Naruto then exited his mindscape and waited for Zetsu to respond. Zetsu knew that Naruto is the strongest person as of now and might be even stronger than Madara if he is revived and he has no choice to give in to his demands. So he said "Fine. If you will help me to revive my mother, I'll give you half of every tailed beast chakra". Naruto nodded "Then we have a deal Zetsu. You use that Nagato and Obito to collect four, five and six tails. Leave the seven, eight and nine tails to me. Also keep an eye on Orochimaru and don't let him out of your sight. He's dangerous". Zetsu was once again shocked that this kid knew all his trunk cards and plans and he nodded and entered underground.

Naruto was going to explain to Kurama about Kaguya, but at this time, the world turned to white and a old man with two horns and a staff appeared before Naruto. He was Hagoromo or known as the Sage of six paths. He had a big frown watching Naruto and said "I don't know how Ashura's reincarnation hates the world and became more trouble than Indra." Naruto just smiled and asked "So Hagoromo old man, why did you bring me here?" Hagoromo continued "You know what disaster my mother will bring upon being revived and you still want to help revive her?"

Naruto nodded "Of course old man. I want to end her suffering inside the seal. She did nothing wrong according to me. The person who was in the wrong all the time was you". Hagoromo surprised asked "Do tell me child, where did I go wrong?" Naruto nodded and started speaking "First one is teaching people Ninshu." Hagoromo surprised asked "And how is that wrong?" Naruto continued "What you did might have been with good intentions old man, but you gave people who were fighting with swords and arrows destructive weapons called Ninshu.

People will always fight and the opinions of every person is different and this different will definitely start a conflict. You must have known this watching your own sons. One wanted power and other wanted friends. So misunderstanding is inevitable and desires can only be suppressed and not eradicated from the mind. That's why your son Indra fought with Ashura for leadership of the clan. It was his desire to stand on the top. You must have known this before giving weapons of mass destruction to people".

Hagoromo started thinking and nodded "You said this was the first one. What about the others?" Naruto nodded and continued "The main mistake you did was to betray your own mother and seal her by listening to a frog. This meant that you trusted a frog more than your mother". Hagoromo frowned hearing this and said "I saw proof of my mother destroying the world killing people making them her pawns. The toad sage showed it to me. My mother was drunk on power and I just sealed the calamity" Naruto shook his head "You don't understand anything old man. Did you think your mother was a fool and wanted to create mindless soldiers just to satisfy her lust for powe?"

Hagoromo hearing this asked "What do you mean?" Naruto continued "I mean what I say old man. You don't know anything beyond this world and how your mother came to be. She wanted to protect this world and her loved ones that Is you from external threats that followed her or may follow her here in the future. So she had no way but to create an army that obeys her as she didn't trust the people of this world that betrayed her and forced her to eat the fruit. Her own husband betrayed her. Her own children betrayed her by listening to a frog.

Did you ever speak to her or ask her the reason for doing what she did? Did you ever have a heartfelt talk with her? No. You just believed a stupid frog and without giving your own mother any time to explain, you fought her and sealed her.
