After a week of rest, Kurenai recovered. Then everyone went to the bridge to guard Tazuna. Naruto left a shadow clone in Tazuna's house to guard the house. On the bridge, Tazuna started his work. After some time, Naruto who was sitting in the railing of the bridge got up and spoke "Kakashi sensei, they are here. Oh! Boy. Two Elite Jonin, one Kage level ninja and three chunins." Kakashi frowned hearing Naruto and asked "Are you sure Naruto? How did you know?" Kurenai chimed in "I still don't sense them". Naruto replied "I can sense them and based on their chakra levels, Two of them have chakra greater than you both and one has even higher chakra than the old man Hokage."
Kurenai started becoming afraid and spoke "What do we do Kakashi? We can't fight a Kage level Ninja. We are putting the team on risk." Kakashi nodded and said "I know. Now I also sense them. They are coming fast. But we cannot escape and have no choice but to fight." Kurenai gritted her teeth and said "Then let's atleast let the kids escape. There's no way they can handle this situation." Kakashi was about to speak, but Naruto spoke first "Kakashi sensei, there's no time to escape. Besides, if we escape, you won't last long and they will follow us and kill us anyway. A bunch of genins can't outrun a Kage level Ninja."
Kakashi also knew about this fact. That's why he was hesitant in deciding. Kurenai at this time spoke "What are we supposed to do now Kakashi? Even if we request for backup, it will take days, and now that I sense their approaching chakra, I don't think we can escape here and hide from them." Looking at their distressed appearance, Naruto spoke "I have a plan Sensei". Kakashi looked at Naruto and asked "What is it Naruto? Tell us. If we have a chance to escape without casualties, then it's good". Kurenai also listened intently to know what the kid came up with. She was also surprised seeing the calm appearance of Naruto despite the odds.
Naruto then started telling his plan "Kakashi sensei, There are three chunin ninjas, but two of them are not that strong. Sakura and Hinata will protect Tazuna, while Sasuke, Kiba and Shino will fight the three chunins. You will hold that Kage level ninja while Kurenai sensei and me takes on the two Jonin. After we finish our fight, we can help you against the Kage level ninja." Kakashi was surprised and asked "What do you mean Naruto? Can you take on the Jonin?" Naruto nodded. Seeing Naruto for the past few days, Kakashi came to the conclusion that Naruto was stronger than he let out to be. But he didn't enquire and decided to just watch as Naruto was his Sensei's son.
Kurenai at this time chimed in "What are you two talking about? You are too over confident kid. You just became a Genin recently." Naruto shook his head "I've been training since I was a kid and am equally as strong as Kakashi sensei". Both Kurenai and Kakashi were surprised hearing this and Kakashi wanted to ask something, but at this time, the enemies showed up. Sasuke and the other genins also came down and stood behind Kakashi and Kurenai looking at the enemies.
One had bandages on his face with a huge and long sword on his back. The other two were wearing a black cloak with red cloud patterns on the cloak. One of them had a scythe on his back and the other one just wore a mask and didn't have a weapon. There were also other three ninjas behind them. One wore a mask with waves pattern on it and the other two wore masks covering their mouth and had metallic claws in their arms and a chain connecting both of their arms. They were Zabuza, Hidan & Kakuzu of the akatsuki, Haku and the demon brothers who escaped from Kurenai while Zabuza attacked her.
The akatsuki had invited Zabuza to their organisation sending Kakuzu and Hidan, but Zabuza had refused. But they refused to leave and told him that they will wait for a weak in wave country for Zabuza's response. Zabuza didn't care about them at first, but seeing the circumstances, he thought of using them as backup. Kakuzu was reluctant in the mission at first, but after listening to the mission details and also knowing about Gato and his resources, he accepted thinking he can kill Gato and steal from him and also can fight a bunch of Konoha ninjas to bide his boredom.
Naruto just sighed shaking his head and spoke to Kakashi "Kakashi sensei, things are looking bad. The two of them with the cloak are S class ninjas from Akatsuki organisation." Kakashi was surprised hearing the name Akatsuki and frowned as he asked "How do you know about them Naruto?" Naruto casually replied "Akatsuki were the ones who released the nine tails when I was born. My father told me about them when he trained me".
Hearing this Kakashi's eyes almost popped out saying "How?!! Naruto, your father was...." Before he could continue, Naruto said "My father sealed a part of his and my mother's soul inside me along with the Nine tails to help me later." Kakashi now understood and he knew that Minato and Kushina were experts in fuinjutsu and capable of achieving this feat. He then thought 'Sensei, it seems you made sure to look out for your son even after death'.
Naruto then continued "Kakashi sensei, the big guy with the cloak is a Kage level ninja and I can sense five different people inside him. He might not die even if we pierce his heart. So be careful when fighting him. The other cloaked guy's chakra also feels different. I'll take him on. Let Kurenai sensei fight Zabuza. Sasuke and Shino can fight the masked one and let Kiba fight the other two. Kakashi sensei, you have to just hold that guy back, until I finish off my opponent and join you. Don't do anything reckless. My father said that Akatsuki members are always unpredictable."
Kakashi nodded and asked once again to confirm "How sure are you that you can handle that guy Naruto?" Naruto replied "I'm 100% sure I can handle him and for the other one, I have to use my all along with you to take him down. I just hope Kurenai sensei can hold on till we finish our fights." Kakashi also nodded and spoke to everyone and gave the orders according to the plans. Hidan started his trash talking and having a verbal fight with Kakuzu. And after everyone was ready, the fight started.
