Chapter 146 : A Haki Voice (Rewrite)

" Who is Minato" Ashina and the other elders were thinking so it took Kirito some time to explain the entire thing to them. In fact, this information was delivered to Ashina by Umai. The same shinobi who accompany Kirito back to Konoha.

It took some time for this entire thing to settle down before the meeting to really restart again.

Jiraiya who mistook Kirito as Minato was still looking suspicious. Orochimaru was also with him.

"Why are you here Konoha Shinobi" asked an elder.

"We are here to deliver an important message from the Hokage," Jiraiya replied.

"And why should we care" Ashina was the one who said with an enraged voice.

"So that's how the Uzumaki treat their friend and alliance nowadays. " Jiraiya asked.

"We used to be better but what can we do, The last time we were in the Konoha we had to come back without getting the help we would have expected from an alliance," Ashina said.

"That was a shortcoming of my village but that does not mean that we break an alliance which was created by our ancestors," Jiraiya replied.

Kirito heard the back and forth conversation going. He knew that this would take a long long time to end this meeting and internally sign.

It took almost 2 hours of constant political talk that Kirito was almost out of his wits and was ready to bust out.

The talk from the Konoha side was handled by both Jiraiya and Orochimaru and Kirito had to say that they were doing really good.

"Alright alright alright. Let's cut to the chase here" Kirito suddenly said having enough of this shit.

This sudden outburst of Kirito stunned others. Orochimaru also knew how straight and imposing Kirito was when he was in Konoha. He was now only thinking about how things would be when he was on his own turf.

"What do you mean, Kirito" Ashina was the first one to ask. He too knew how Kirito reacted in Konoha. However, to his eyes, this was nothing more than a child not having the patience but he also knew that Kirito had his own strange and chaotic way to handle the situation.

So he did not stop Kirito. It was not like he was afraid to offend Konoha at this time. In fact, he was kind of looking forward to seeing how Kirito responded here. He got the report from Umai that last time Kirito made Konoha higher up pretty angry. He was really looking forward to this now.

None of the people speak, and after Kirito sees that he has everyone's attention, he speaks again.

"I know why you both are here. We all know, so let's talk directly to the point." Kirito said. There was still no response from the Konoha shinobi and apparently, the Uzumaki also let him speak.

Kirito sneakily glanced at Ashina and the other Uzumaki and all of them were watching him with adapt attention.

"You are here to tell that Konoha and Whirlpool are still an alliance while having a simple 'Yeah sorry for not helping. Hope you don't mind' Attitude.

Do you think that we are idiots? I was there when we asked for Konoha's help. And what Konoha did. They did not send and help to us on the pretext of that Konoha would help the land of Whirlpool if we really went to war.

You know what, the war is over and I did not see any shinobi from Konoha. Any shinobi besides the small team that you sent while we were fighting the Raikage? And before you say that you did not send any, let me tell you that I never forget a chakra signature. I am not sure about others but one of the shinobi who came here was Sakumo Hatake.

He was here when I was fighting with Raikage. I also know that he saw us fighting Raikage and he did not do anything. Why did you guys send that small team here?

Let me guess, to go and have a peek at what is happening to your so-called alliance or maybe to take anything useful left by us after Raikage is done with it. I remember that Konoha needed a new Jinchuriki right? Is that your goal?" Kirito said.

Kirito's rant totally surprised everyone. The only person besides Kirito who knew that Konoha sent someone to Uzu during the war was Ashina.

The entire office was silent at this time. No one knew what to say anymore. Usually, these old people talk with a lot of diplomacy and politics involved. So Kirito's direct rant right now brought complete silence to the office.

"What proof do you have? You are shaming the name of Konoha in front of me. I will not stand for it. If you don't have any proof then you have to take responsibility for all those false claims." said one of the people who came with Jiraiya and Orochimaru.

Ashina remained calm because he wanted to know what Kirito was doing.

"What do you mean by" An elder wanted to say something but suddenly a powerful aura started to emit from Kirito.

This was Kirito's conqueror's haki. He currently did not have enough control over his haki and thus it was very weak. Usually, that is not a good thing but in this case, having a weak effect is enough, in fact, it's better than completely knocking out this Konoha shinobi and a few of these elders.

This Haki quickly shut up everyone who wanted to say something. May it be a Uzu elder or a Konoha shinobi.

"I said to cut to the chase did I not," Kirito said with haki leaking out. Kirito sounded very dangerous as his voice itself was slow and low pitch but it came out like a Biju itself was talking.

There was a chill in everyone's heart at this point but internally Kirito was giddy because it took him a long time to get control over his Haki to do this much.

"Now that's Badass" Kirito thought to himself.

"I don't need to explain anything to you. Do you really think that I need proof to tell you what happened here? I will repeat what I said when I got out of Konoha back then. I am not looking for your help or your alliance. What I am looking to find out is whether it is even worth being in an alliance with Konoha" Kirito said, his voice echoing.

Then he removed his Haki suddenly because he knew that this way he would only get any response and he would be the only one talking.

" If you did not understand then let me explain this to you again in a way that everyone can understand. The Land of Whirlpool do not have to explain anything to Konoha and does not need Konoha. If you think that we do then you are delusional. What I said is the truth and we all know it. I don't have to explain or prove this to anyone.

You are in no position to ask. If you need to keep the alliance then it is you who have to prove and explain why Konoha did not send help when the Land of Whirlpool needed it. Why send a small team when we were almost about to get destroyed or at least according to what your leader anticipated? And finally, why did Danzo Shimura send those shinobi to kidnap a Uzumaki child? Not like I already don't know" Kirito shouted and then kept his quiet.

He was having fun watching all the Konoha shinobi trying to come up with an answer to his question.

"Maybe they thought that Whirlpool would keep the alliance just so that Konoha is a very powerful village." Kirito thought to himself.
