Chapter – 26: Dream Control
Two months pass quietly.
Inside the Origin space, two shadows were engaged in serious combat. They were so fast that in just a second, they seem to have clashed over a dozen times. Only the sound of metal clashing metal could be heard.
A few seconds pass and both shadows come to a halt and take the form of two exactly same figures.
[Rei POV]
"The Blood clone," I sigh with relief looking at what appeared to be the carbon copy of myself.
'A. I chip, show my stats.'
[Name: Uchiha Rei (Chunin). Strength: 26, Agility: 22, Vitality: 27, Sprit: 21, Chakra: 217, Status: Healthy.]
[Bloodline: Uchiha (Three tomoe), Active genes: 9(limit), Bloodline activation: 33.33%]
'So, all my attributes entered the range of Chunins,' I grin.
According to what I have observed so far,
Normal people have stats from 1-5 and chakra 1-30.
Academy students: stats 5-10 and chakra 30-50.
Genins: stats 10-20 and chakra 50-100.
Chunins: stats 20-40 and chakra 100-500.
And 500 is the maximum chakra that the current A.I. chip could scan. If I try to scan above that, only '?' appears. After analyzing Tsunade's memories, A.I. chip labeled my strength as Chunin.
In the last two months, I have performed Seal of Ouroboros twice on myself and have successfully activated two more genes giving myself a three tomoe Sharingan.
One thing I noticed is the amount of time and the amount of chakra needed to activate increases by a large amount for each gene as I progress further. I worry for the day when it will require an insane amount of it. The first gene activation took about fifteen days and the second, about thirty days. And the chakra needed to activate also increased about 20-30%.
While pondering, I activate my Sharingan and my eyes turn blood red with three tomoes at the center. 'It's still hard to contain my joy after seeing my hard work pay off, but I still have a long way to go,' I grin looking at my reflection in the mirror.
For the last two months other than my physical exercises, I have been focussing on three things. First is Fuinjutsu as it is the basis for my bloodline experiments and I will need to heavily depend on it in the future for gaining more funds too.
The second being getting used to my changing chakra because of the Seal, and finally, practicing to fail while casting jutsus, I am already at the level of a Chunin, but no need to show it to the world right? Many might disagree thinking it's cowardly, but I believe, that's how a shinobi should act. The underlying connotation of shinobi means "to steal away; to hide" and—by extension—"to forbear", hence its association with stealth and invisibility. It's not just being invisible while executing missions either, in general, a shinobi should be the one who is the most hidden at all times, sometimes in plain sight and in daily life too. As a shinobi attending a shinobi academy, how can I show all my cards to everyone? that would be stupid, according to me at least. So, I need to be able to fool the shinobi instructors flawlessly, hence this training.
Coincidentally, with my current chakra, I can cast two shadow clones. That made things a lot easier. I assigned one clone to Fuinjutsu and one to jutsu training while I do my physical training along with adjusting to the newly changed chakra.
Also, after getting the Fuinjutsu knowledge from Tsunade, I have made a Gravity seal which I am using for my Taijutsu training now, it can only increase gravity from 1 to 10 as I am still a beginner and couldn't create a high tier one yet, but it is sufficient for the time being. One awesome thing is, the Taijutsu and Ninjutsu practice seems to reduce the time needed for Seal of Ouroboros to change my body. Although, I would have to constantly drain my chakra and my stamina for it to show any effects.
Finally, it brings us to the Blood clone. The A.I. chip successfully simulated it ten days ago and I used all the blood I had gathered over the days to cast it. Currently, it has around a third of my attributes which makes it have attributes similar to a top academy student, which perfectly fits my requirements. This clone also has the Assistance Subroutine, so it can do everything a shadow clone was able to do, like live stream its memories, etc.
There is one last addition to it which I call Dream Control Technique because of how it works, and I think it is pretty cool. The way it works is, the A. I chip creates a dream or virtual environment for my consciousness to enter with live data from what the blood clone sees, feels, etc. and every action I take inside the virtual environment is translated into actual action by the clone which is controlled by the Assistance Subroutine and the changes that happen to the environment of the clone is perfectly simulated inside the dream. That is if I fight someone inside the dream, the clone will actually fight him in the real world. I already checked the time delay between my action inside the virtual environment and the actual action by the clone, and it turns out to be the millionth of a second. You could say there is almost no delay at all. Hence I named it Dream Control. This has too much research value and I decided to spend lots of time upgrading and customizing this technique. One thing I haven't been able to do is to verify how far the clone can be for me to be able to use this technique, but I am sure it can be very very far as even my previous world tech had been able to communicate all around the globe.
'So, it begins tomorrow, ha?' I ponder.
