Chapter – 24: Seal of Ouroboros

[Rei POV]

'A.I. Chip! Establish a new mission! With the Strength of Hundred Seal as the foundation, begin simulating the model for a new seal to store Uchiha Chakra!'

[Mission establishing! Gathering information, beginning simulation….]

[Information sources: … Strength of Hundred Seal, Eight trigrams seal, Advance Uzumaki Fuinjutsu…. Simulation time: 16d 23h 57m 38s!]

'How is it less than the time required for the blood clone jutsu?' I wonder. 'Maybe the lack of information is the issue, I have no information other than what I have seen in the anime for the jutsu, whereas for this seal, the A. I chip just has to modify and update the existing seal so must be faster!'

'In the meantime, I can look for some test subjects to experiment on,' I think, 'I don't have to kidnap anyone for the time being. What I have to do is, knock them out and place the seal with Uchiha chakra on them, study its effects and clean up the mess.'

Two weeks later, I am inside the Origin space practicing Fuinjutsu.

[Beep! Simulation complete. Seal of Ouroboros created.]

'Oh, Seal of Ouroboros?' I think looking over the 3D simulation the A. I chip created. In the 3D image is a human body, my body to be exact. On my right shoulder is the tattoo of a snake eating its tail, Ouroboros. This tattoo is actually the seal that A. I chip was working on to store Uchiha chakra.

Inside the seal is a large amount of mixed chakra from my genes and the gene I want to activate. This mixed chakra constantly seeps into my chakra coils and starts to change my chakra little by little. The change is minute, but it still exists. After a long time, no more change happens to my chakra but it appears to have changed slightly. This change is not noticeable at first but the changed chakra seems to be able to activate one more gene, the gene from which the Chakra was extracted from.

'A. I chip, how long does this process need?'

[Beep! Insufficient data. Unable to estimate.]

'Damm, I need to get my hands on one of the targets quickly,'

The last two weeks I have not been idle. In addition to all my daily practices, I started to scout for suitable test subjects. I already learned what happened to my parents a couple of years ago. Basically, my father disappeared while on a mission, and my mother couldn't sit still and decided to investigate on her own bringing the perpetrator's attention to her. Which ultimately caused her to suffer injuries and die after giving birth to me.

So, why did I bring this up now? Because, Uchiha disappearing, although is uncommon, it's not unheard of. That means, even if let's say an unfortunate soul were to suddenly disappear, the clan would still investigate, but if I am careful not to leave any obvious clues, I can get away with it. Also, I am not planning on making them disappear completely anyway.

Therefore, for two weeks I have been going around trying to gather as much information as possible about some Genins who have just returned from a mission and are on break. My criteria are simple, they must not be anyone noticeable preferably an orphan and they must have activated their Sharingan recently.

After a week of searching, I finally selected a candidate that fits all my requirements perfectly. The guy I selected was an orphan and he was living alone. He had also just returned from a mission so he is expected to be at home for quite some time.

My plan to capture him is actually pretty simple. It is similar to what I already did with Tsunade. Use Origin space to sneak up and knock him out. Next, drag him into the Origin space, conduct experiments, and after completing, throw him back out.

The plan went exactly as I had imagined. It's hard to believe this guy is a Genin. He couldn't even react before I knocked him out.

Next to more important matters, I have already prepared all the equipment needed. I looked at the guy on my operation table and snicker, 'Don't worry, you will become a bit more powerful after receiving my gift!'

First, I start by drawing large quantities of his blood. Obviously, I cannot use my own Chakra for testing the seal. So, I take his genes and start to draw chakra from them. After a couple of hours of work, I successfully extract his Uchiha chakra. Then I take one of the genes that he hasn't activated yet and start to draw chakra from them too.

Finally, I place the unconscious Genin in the middle of a sealing circle that I had already drawn and is connected to the two sealed vessels which contain chakras I had just extracted. These vessels are actually one of my new creations, they use the chakra sealing technique to store large quantities of chakra and can be used later like batteries.

"Seal of Ouroboros!" I make rapid hand seals and slam my right hand to the ground.

Pitch-black sealing marks spread from my hand and reach the sealing circle. As soon as both come into contact, shadowy mist starts to rise from the circle like serpents and starts to spread all over Genin's body covering it with sealing marks. Just a few seconds later all of the sealing marks concentrate on his right shoulder forming a black snake tattoo.

[Beep! Seal of Ouroboros successfully implanted. Initializing scan…]

[Vitals looking good… Chakra infusion started…]

[Beep! Signs of gene activation found! No signs of mutation or cell damage! Subject stable!]

[Beep! Simulating… Estimated time for completion: 92d 14h 21m]

"Success! hahaha!" I laugh out loud, "Finally I have found a way, finally!"
