41 Chapter 41: Vs Orochimaru
Since the night Tsunade promised herself to me, Shizune could not stop being surprised. Tsunade stopped gambling and drinking, instead, she started fussing around me...
I finally understood that Konan and Tsunade are not only drawn together, they have a quite similar way of thinking. Even if it is not quite obvious at the first glance.
It, however, became obvious when one day, Tsunade dressed up in Konan's maid uniform and started acting like a proper maid courtesy of Konan's tutelage. I and Shizune could only gape but turns out, like Konan, Tsunade desired to be seen as the maid for her Master...
Well, weird tastes aside, who am I to complain!?
The relationship between Konan and Tsunade took a deep turn when on the second night, Konan invaded our bedroom when we were having heated sex and proceeded to 'help' us out. The girls found a way to each other and I found out that the Loyalty Seal made a kind of 'bond' between them on the level of their souls. The only thing they loved more than each other was me. Exactly the same as Mei and Shizuka.
I even had to rebuke Tsunade and set her straight when she started to neglect Shizune's training. Since then Shizune is crying blood and cursing me since the drunkard gambler changed to a raging dragon and her leisure times were over. At least she had a nice supply of painkillers...
Tsunade's attitude also had somewhat of a twist. She was kind, meek, happy to serve, eager to please, helpful, lovely... she was basically the Hinata mk2! But that's only when it came to me and in a lesser, but still glaringly obvious, degree Konan.
To others though? She was still the ill-tempered violent blunt woman. Even more so when she now had to get used to her body being a lot stronger. She sent one poor sucker who tried to act cool and all flirty while demeaning me to his first date with a wall. The man didn't survive his first clash with it. It was quite cute. Tsunade wide-eyed stare as she for the first time in decades misjudged her strength and brought down an entire wall with a man even though she only wanted to give him a slight 'poke'. The people were so frightened, nobody stopped us.

We didn't port home through the sub-dimension and instead opted to walk and take sights. Right now, we were in Frost Country, the last country before we reach Kaminari no Kuni. As we walked along the park, Tsunade stilled and I could feel a slight flare of chakra.
"Orochimaru." Tsunade told me and looked at me.
I nodded ar her.
"Well then. Let's go and take a peek at what the pedo-snake want so close to Kaminari, shall we?" I cheerfully stated. "Onwards!"
Shizune groaned at having to meet Orochimaru while Konan and Tsunade held hands while walking happily behind me. Sigh. The girls started to resemble Mei and Shizuka. If the 'bond' really displays like this and made them so happy with each other, I should probably find a partner to Ringo too... Maybe she will stop being so cuddly all the time? A man can hope... Uuuu, the suffering my seal-work goes through because of that!
We reached the sounds of battle and saw a village.
A village where Orochimaru was slaughtering people willy-nilly.
"Well... maybe my dear teammate went finally crazy?" Tsunade commented.
"Wasn't he always?" Konan impassively quipped.
"True." Tsunade nodded and fastened gloves on her hands.
The first thing I did after she became mine was to cure her of her homophobia. One session of butchering animals. One session of butchering bound bandits. And voila, she was as good as new.
I could see Tsunade was eager to fight Orochimaru.
I saw the villagers were already slaughtered and Orochimaru was doing his sales gig to one small impressionable girl who was looking at him in horror and slight madness. Well, figures. When a creepy old guy approached a small girl and starts to offer her cand-, ahem, power while licking the blood from his kunai...
Yes, the madness was VERY understandable.
I leaned towards Konan and whispered to her ear her orders. She nodded and her body dissolved into very small pieces of paper. The paper felt into the snow-filled ground and started to fill the battleground without anyone noticing.
I activated my Chakra Mode and flew straight at poor unsuspecting Orochi-pedo.
"And that's when Slot A goes to Slo-"
That's all I heard from his sales pitch to the enamored girl when my fist gently stroke his jaw, sending him through five houses.
I gave a side-glance to the bewildered girl who stared at me with wide-eyes.
"Yo!" An eye-smile Kakashi would be proud of and off I went after our resident creeper.
I appeared in front of Orochimaru as he was about to stand up.
"Well, well... and who might you be?" He'?' asked in amusement.
"Wow, you really look like a girl. A slightly ugly girl but a girl nonetheless! "I exclaimed, pointing at him in Naruto fashion.
Orochimaru frowned. He didn't jump the gun as I hoped... a pity.
"Ooh? Lightning Chakra Mode?" His frown increased.
"Yes. But..." I pretended to appear pondering.
"But?" Orochimaru asked.
"AH!" I exclaimed and pointed behind him as if I saw a ghost.
Orochimaru chuckled. "Nice tr-"
And was promptly slugged with Tsunade's chakra empowered fist, flying through yet another five houses. Sigh... that guy really liked house-diving.
"Great. Now we have to chase him again." I gave the sheepish Tsunade an exasperated look.
I again zapped to the place where Orochimaru landed only to be forced to roll on the ground as a thin wire of very concentrated fire almost hit me.
"Heee, you dodged my Katon: Invisible Cut... not bad." I heard Orochimaru's amused voice.
"Throwing jutsus are we? You cheating bastard." I deadpanned at him, getting a chuckle in return.
"Well, we are nin-" He started but jumped back as a huge snake made out of lightning shot at him from my hand.
Unfortunately for him, the snake stopped a second before impacting the ground and snapped back in his direction. The fast lightning snake hit Orochimaru mid-jump, sooner than his feet could reach the ground. He was sent rolling on the ground as his body smoked.
"I call it Raiton: Orochimaru. It is only fitting, don't you think?" I smiled at him innocently.
The jaw of his body snapped wide open and a new Orochimaru stepped out of it.
"Heh, I am honored." He quipped sarcastically.
"Yeah... you damn should be! It IS quite a weak Jutsu so the name is spot-on." I proudly exclaimed, finally getting at least an eye-twitch from him. He took out his sword from his mouth.
"Damn, that is disgusting, mate." I commented as my chokuto appeared in my hand.
I turned off my Chakra Mode with a grin.

Konan was in pieces... well, literally. The pieces of paper that usually formed her body were scattered around the frightened girl. Her master ordered her to protect the child and she was quite satisfied with her lot in this battle.
Konan intently watched as her master fights Orochimaru in a high-speed kenjutsu battle.
Orochimaru slashed at Rei's midsection only for the slash to be parried and Rei's sword to redirect right back onto Orochimaru's figure. Orochimaru evaded thanks to his flexible body and quickly stabbed towards Rei.
Rei turned his body sideways, letting the stab miss him and his sword suddenly blurred, bisecting Orochimaru.
Orochimaru's body burst into smoke and revealed log as the snake jumped from a nearby alley back into the frenzied melee. The swords clashed, and Rei took a step back, making Orochimaru lose balance as his sword pierced his midsection. That Orochimaru turned out to be a mud-clone and from the ground, the tip of Orochimaru's sword burst out and Rei barely managed to lean backward to evade it.
Unfortunately for Orochimaru, Rei swung his sword down onto his form as he was flying out of the ground and managed to part one of his arms from his body.
Orochimaru quickly jumped back with a snarl as he watched the arm he just lost on the ground. He didn't get to say anything though. He barely stumbled forward as he felt something barreling to him from behind.
Tsunade's heel was aiming at Orochimaru's hand as he jumped away from Rei. But the slimy git managed to slightly steer his body forward and her downward kick impacted his shoulder instead of the head. It ripped off his entire arm alongside his collarbone and made mush out of the left lung and left ribs. So... Tsunade was quite okay with the result.
Orochimaru stood up without his arms, bloodied.
"Well, look at that, now you are closer to being a snake than ever again, Orochi!" Master Rei taunted Orochimaru, making him snarl.
Orochimaru's neck suddenly lengthened like a snake and shot towards the girl at quite fast speed. Half-way through, his jaws opened wide and a new Orochimaru was now flying towards the frightened wide-eyed girl.
That's when Konan sprung into action.
Her pieces of paper rose, forming a thick wall in front of the girl, shielding her from the flying Orochimaru.
Before Orochimaru could comprehend what happened, small pieces of paper flew up, covering the air all around him. His eyes widened...
The wall of paper suddenly bloated as a long booming sound resounded from behind it and Konan noted the gaping expression of the girl with smugness.
It didn't take long for the wall of paper to return to its previous size as the explosion ceased.
Konan saw that Orochimaru used Doton: Metal Skin to make himself more durable and there wasn't that much damage since she could not use the more dangerous explosive tags in the vicinity of the girl. With a sigh, she charged her slices of paper with some wind chakra and hurled them at Orochimaru who quickly disengaged.
"I am getting bored. Raiton: Heavenly Tribulation." Master exclaimed from behind Orochimaru and before the Snake Sannin could even widen his eyes, a thick pillar of lightning shot from the heavens and impacted him in a split of a second.
As the light and smoke cleared, a broken body of Orochimaru laid on the ground.
A new Orochimaru again exited the broken body, this time somewhat shakily.
"You know if I was you... I would not stand up." Master Rei pinpointed.
Orochimaru stood up and... was instantly smitten again by lightning.
"Told you... the heavens don't like to people who defy them, moron!"
Orochimaru yet again exited his destroyed body... Konan almost groaned. This was getting old fast.
"We will meet again!" Shouted the Snake Sannin who was lying on his belly.
Rei shrugged as the man disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"Hmm, reverse-summoning... quite handy technique." Rei nodded to himself with a sigh.
"Well, never mind. This counts as a victory too!"
