32 Destroyer

(Battle Arena) *Kaito's POV *

A shinobi flickered infornt of the Hokage, "Forgive me Hokage-sama but I, Gekkou Hayate, the judge will explain."

"Please do." The Hokage replied.

"Before the third exam *cough* there's something I want you to do *cough* fight in some preliminary matches and see who gets to advanced to the main battle.

There are too many candidates so according to the regulations, we must decrease the number of candidates. *cough * those who are not feeling well may withdraw. *cough* we'll begin the preliminary matches immediately after that. " Hayate explains.

(On the Stage)

Seeing Saskue's cursed Mark react, we had a little discussion.

Hokage : " as I feared. "

Ibiki :" What should we do? "

Anko :" we should take him out of the exam and let the Anbu guard him. "

Kakashi :" he the type that won't listen that easily. He's an Uchiha after all."

Anko : "stop fooling around. I'll make him even if I'll have to use force! The Cursed seal will react every time he molds chakara. It's a forbidden technique that undermines the affected person. " "Hokage-sama, please!"

Hokage : "hmm.... Kaito! What do you think?"

Me: "well, Anko does make a point but I don't think any Anbu can protect him. And, Orochimaru is interested in him, he's staying put to se how Sasuke would do. Wouldn't he start to move if we withdraw Sasuke?"

Just then someone raised his hand. "I'll like to withdraw."

"You are Yakushi Kabuto, right? Then, you may leave. *cough *" Hayate said.

Hokage :"I remember that he withdrew form the main exam last time too. What's he thinking?"

Me : *flips the record * "it seems he failed the chunin six times in a row. His other records are just average."

"it seems there are no more who wants to withdrew. Well start the preliminaries shortly." Hayate announced after a while.

"Let Sasuke continue. If his seal opens op and becomes uncontrollable, stop him." the Hokage said to me. And after that, I hinted Hayate to continue.

"Then, let's begin the preliminaries. It'll be a one on one match. In other words, real combat. We have exactly 20 people, so that's 10 match and the winners will move on to the third exam. There are no rules, you will fight until you die, get knock out or surrender. However, I can stop the match to prevent unnecessary deaths. "Hayate explain and a screen reveled itself behind the stage.

" The electronic bulletin board will randomly display 2 fighters for each match. Without further ado, I'll display the fighters for the first round. " as he said that, 2 names appeared on the screen. "first round Uchiha Sasuke vs Akadou Yoroi. The others please move up there,"

So everyone else moved to the spectators area and the fight started.

(Some Time Later)

The preliminaries has ended. Mostly everything went the same as the anime, at least that's how I remembered. Well, Neji didn't hurt Hinata that badly cuz I saved his father, so that's different.

So the main event will be :

Uzumaki Naruto Vs Hyuga Neji

Uchiha Sasuke Vs Gaara

Aburame Shino Vs Kankurou

Nara Shikamaru Vs Temari

After that, the candidates have a month until the 3rd exam.

(Hospital)

"So, how are you feeling?" I asked Sasuke.

"I'm fine bur I need to get stronger!" he clenched his fist and said.

"Hold on there buddy, you're in no condition to say that."

"I'll train once I get discharged. Train me, Kaito!" he requested.

"I would like to but I'm busy with.... Exam. Yes the Chunin exam. I don't have time to train you. But I'm sure Kakshi would like to train you." I replied and pointed towards Kakashi.

"Now then, I'd better get going." I quickly flicker away to avoid anymore questions.

(Kaito's Subspace) *General POV *

In a mysterious place filled with water, 7 giants made of steel stood in a circle. The only difference is the colour of ther eyes and core in their chest. The colours are red, blue, green, yellow, purple, white and violet.

All the giants are facing away form each other in all directions. In the middle of the circle stood a figure with blue hair.

"Destroyers activate." the figure spoke and the giant's core and eyes lit up in their respective colour.

"Finally, they're completed. Now to test them." the figure said and he raised his hand. A large stone pillar rose up form the water about 1 km in front each giants.

"Energy beam" all the giant's eyes started glowing in their respective colour and they shot a beam towards their pillar. The pillars was destroyed the moment the beam connection but some of them has a different effect.

The red giant melted the pillar. The purple giant left some electricity on the debris. The green giant cut straight thorough the pillar. The yellow giant turned the debris to dust. The blue giant froze the pillar causing the pillar to crack and fall apart. The white and violet giants didn't leave anything special, they just destroyed the pillar.

"Not bad but I'm not sure how they compare against tailed beasts. Now, on to the next test. Durability." the figure says and snaps his finger.

7 meteors appeared in the sky and falling towards the giants. Soon, they hit the giants.

As the smoke fades, the 7 giants are visible again. They were unscathed.

" Not bad. They'll do. "the figure said and the giants lose their light.

A portal appeared under his feet and he sinks down into it.
