Chapter 94: Sakumo Vs Amegakure Ninja

Sakumo looked at his students before he started disposing of the body of the man he had just killed.

A few minutes ago!

Sakumo shuttled through the air and stopped around an open area and looked around.

*Woosh*

A man appeared and stopped behind him but he did not just stop there he sent a couple of flying weapons at Sakumo at an extremely fast speed.

With a white flash light all of his Kunais and shurikens were on the ground.

"You don't seem to care much about your team, aren't you worried that they would die at the hands of my team."

The man was not shocked or scared seeing his attack fail but instead he mocked Sakumo for not even thinking about his team members.

Sakumo also did not rush to attack but he stayed on guard with an unsheathed sword in his hands.

"You should be worried about your team instead. I wonder how long they will last." Sakumo replied calmly.

'This is not their first time on a battlefield so I think they should be fine. They were rescued in a War and by the time the granddaughter of the first Hokage saved them they had killed a couple of weak civilians who tried to rob them.'

Sakumo would be worried if this was their first time killing someone. He knew that they were strong both physically and mentally which is why he left them alone to fend for themselves against the three Chunins.

"Haha!!! You surely have some confidence in them. My team has three chunins while yours is just made up of three genin kids who just graduated. No matter how talented they are, they cannot compare with experienced Chunins.."

Hearing those boastful words of his enemy Sakumo shook his head and replied, "who said they don't have experience and besides- No! nevermind that, If you are done with your Jutsu Just attack now."

The grin on the Amegakure ninja's face vanished and it was replaced by a solemn expression. He did not expect that his opponent knew that he was preparing for an attack and still did not attack him.

"Hump! You will pay for your arrogance, you Damn Konoha shinobi!!!"

"Uchikomi Kouu No Jutsu!!"

He yelled and suddenly looked towards the sky.

The originally sunny day started getting shrouded in the dark clouds. They started rumbling loudly as the rain started pouring downwards at a heavy speed.

"This is..."

"Did you Notice? This is no ordinary rain!! This is the special Jutsu of Amegakure, uchikomi kouu!"

"The rain water is infused with chakra!" Sakumo felt the rain water carefully and spoke.

"To be able to tell that with a glance you must be a strong ninja from Konoha, Tell me what is your name?" The man spoke as he looked at Sakumo vigilantly.

His eyes were still filled with confidence now that he had casted the Jutsu.

"Are you so confident because of this Jutsu?" Sakumo did answer the question and asked a question of his own instead.

"..."

"Well, No point in talking to an enemy in a war anyway." Sakumo shrugged, seeing the lack of response from his opponent and launched an attack.

He rushed to the man and arrived in front of him. Within a second and sweat his blade to make a cut.

*Clang*

Surprisingly his sharp blade was met with the resistance, Sakumo saw that the Ninja of hidden rain village had a chilling smile on his face as he used a kunai to defend against the attack.

"Do you not realize it yet? Hahaha!! What I meant when I said that this is no ordinary rain. The drops of rain when they stick to your body will make your body slower and slower with each passing second!!!"

The man laughed out loud and pulled out another Kunai to stab Sakumo but when he stabbed him, Sakumo in front of him turned into a wooden block and reappeared a few steps backwards.

"I heard you the first time and already knew about this rain the moment it appeared." Sakumo said and suddenly started charging again but this time he also started weaving his hands into jutsu.

"I was just seeing how much this rain can hold me back but it seems it's not too much."

"Fire style: Fireball Jutsu."

Sakumo sent a huge fireball at the enemy but the man successfully dodged it.

*Plop*

The rain had transformed the dry land into a damp area creating a few puddles of water in the process.

The man could hear the water because of his footsteps and his eyes widened as he saw the Fireball collide with the water stagnating in the area and forming clouds of smoke. The smoke started spreading and hindered his vision.

The man hurriedly used wind style Jutsu to disperse the mist but he was a step too late.

*Swoosh*

He heard a sharp metal sound making its way towards his chest and went on alert. He used every fiber of his body to dodge the incoming blade and was also successfully able to dodge it until…

"It seems they are finished on their side too, here I am dragging it too much. What would they think of me as their Sensei…"

The man flinched hearing the bored sound coming from his back and turned sharply only to see a flash of white blade which did not create even a tiniest bit of sound before everything went dark for him.

*Thud*

Sakumo looked at the decapitated head and the body laying on the ground before waving his sword to get rid of the blood.

*Woosh*

He turned to look to the side and smiled seeing his students arrive there, he had already sensed them approaching and decided to end the fight early.

"It looks like you three did not have much difficulty in handling your side"
