22 Chapter 22: Reunion

Now let's go back. I missed them. I transform into my previous body using Transformation technique.

Don't want anyone to find out that I have a new body. As soon as I teleported back I used seals to cover a larger area to conceal any traces and then I broke the previous seals without leaving any traces.

As I appeared in the view nine huge beasts tackled me and I just surrendered to my fate. "oh, how much I missed you all."

They all just stayed like that. A little sobbing was heard from Shukaku and the girls. Well that was unexpected. My eyes softened even more and I used my tails to caress them as they seemed to enjoy it.

"Brother how is your body, why does it look the same?" As Gyuki asked the question rest looked me with questioning eyes. " this isn't the place to show it we need to go back first." They nodded. " let's go meet the so-called sage. after we are back home we will talk for a long time."

We went out of the seals and I removed all the possible traces left there.

As I entered the palace of the great sage I could see that he was looking at me as if searching for any changes but could not find anything odd.

He aged so much in these years. He went from an adult middle aged to an old one.

" You seem old, what happened, age caught up to you." He just chuckled at my comment. I can see the two small frogs at his side.

There were many new adult frogs. Their eyes filled with vigilance, they seem to have heard of us.

" We are not immortals like you, time affects everyone. It also affected me. Did you finish your work ?"  he asked after replying to my question.

" Yeah, it went well. It was terrible to wait so long even when 100s of years are nothing, they can be boring." To which he had an amusing smile. I can think what he is thinking at the moment.

" Can I ask what you did with that much natural energy? It is still taking some time to replenish." Well looks like he is being straightforward with his thoughts.

" Well I just used it to replenish my reserves a little. I only had chakra before" I just gave him a hint. His eyes widened a little at my answer. When I came before I let him sense my power a little which was more than at my peak.

Now with natural energy he can only guess. He kept mumbling "what a bunch of monsters keep on changing prophecies."

" Hmm, did you say something?" I asked feigning ignorance. He just grumbled and thought a little before saying "You know about our dreams?" 

" The one you used to tell Hagoromo about Kaguya and a blue eyed kid to seal her yeah I know it." His eyes widened a little and grumbled a little about some damn divine tree bullshit. I am surprised he is speaking to me about it. 'Something has changed. This is not like him.'

I was puzzled at his behavior.

" yeah that one it changed. I had another one about a blue eyed kid who was supported by a golden haired One who shall bring all the world and tailed beasts together and this time the one who seeks freedom shall have it but there is something else that will affect the future….."

As he went on saying the rest I kept my calm on the outside but I had some complicated emotions inside. My eyes narrowed at the revelation. " This might become troublesome'

Things may not be the way he said as I have already changed the prophecy once. If what he says is true then there is only one reason for such change.

I will try to contact the 'other me' around that time for some answers. He gave me emergency contact for queries or something like that.

This won't change my plans but I need to be more alert during that time.

I just sighed as he finished " there is no point thinking about it now, it will happen far in the future and I will keep an eye out for the kid."

I need to keep on improving but future events won't let us rest and I don't wanna limit their freedom in my dimension.

sigh! Let's see what decision they make. We need to travel the world first then I will tell them about it. they need to have some awareness of the truth.

He nodded and we finished some pleasantries and I want to leave the toad that was boring me. I took my leave.

As I went back outside, I met with the others and we were ready to leave. so after a quick look around the area about what changes have been made surprisingly there were very few.

These toads are quite lazy. " let's go home."
