There's nothing wrong with Adelaide's life. There's nothing wrong with being cheated on. After all, half of marriages end in divorce and most end from infidelity. There's nothing wrong with getting addicted to an otome game. After all, everybody has something they're obsessed with. There's nothing wrong with reincarnating as the villainess instead of the heroine. After all, the villainess is richer and more powerful. There's nothing wrong with the villainess chasing after one of the love interests. After all, it's not like he's the canon route. There's nothing wrong with Ophelia's life.
The tower is...striking. It stands out against the landscape imposing and silent.
Two things occur to me at once:
There is a small army of those re-living beings roaming around at its base, like silent soldiers guarding the entrance.
And that wizards don't have much creativity, because the tower before us just looks like Cyril's.
Maybe I shouldn't expect the re-living to be different this time around, but....
This is so...frustrating.
"Alright. Now what?" I murmur.
"No point in trying to go around these creatures. It's clear we have to fight them." Roland replies, looking somehow both annoyed and just a touch excited.
He never could resist a good fight.
Celeste cringes a little.
Valentine sighs. "There's a lot fewer of them than there were before...but we're not sitting on a wall where I can just pick them off, either."
And we certainly don't have an army.
