Chapter 8: Ruins

The bell rang. The bell is used for signaling that there is an area that is under attacked. Esteffan's eyes widened. Legos and Vard were pale after hearing it. I too was shocked. Then there was a loud bang on the door. It was one of my men covered in blood and has injury. I immediately ran to him

"What is happening ?! why did that fu****g bell rang?!"

"We were patrolling around the kingdom when we reached to the farm plantation everything was destroyed they were there, Descendants of Tyros"

He coughed blood after his statement.

"Esteffan, they're already here you and your family and the remaining of your people should evacuate the place. Stay on Kazimel with us until everything is finished by then we will plan on what we'll do with them"

Vard said while quickly pulling Esteffan out of the room. Esteffan's face cant be drawn

"Ariadna, Ariadna and the kids where are they"

"Ill go get the kids"

Legos said and immediately rushed out. I ran and followed him. Ariadna I hope youre fine. As we arrived at the library only 3 children were there.

"Dad what is happening? Im scared"

The little girl said while sobbing. I tap Legos on the shoulder

" Ill go look for the princess"

I said and Legos nodded in reply. I rushed to the Garden if she was there and as I thought, there was someone sitting .

"Ariadna?"

I called out. She turned her head facing me then fainted. I rushed towards her and carried her. Her eyes were puffy she was crying. My heart ached knowing she was crying all alone and I wasn't there to comfort her. I let her cry alone AGAIN. I rushed towards the south exit of the castle where Esteffan and Vard were helping the townspeople to evacuate. The sky turned into red and orange because of the fire. As soon all the townspeople escaped

"Esteffan, Go and escape bring Ariadna away from here we'll hold them off so that all of you can escape."

"No! Erden! I wont let you do this we have to escape together"

Esteffan said worriedly then I passed the princess to him. I softly smiled

"You know that no one has ever defeated me "

"Be safe"

I said and chuckled. He also smiled and tapped my shoulder then escaped. I draw out my sword and ordered my men to get ready. I looked at the kingdom that turned into ruins everything was destroyed. Everything was on flames. Then I heard Tyros' men screaming . Ariadna after all this I hope to see you again. Ill be back. I promise.
