*Vrmmm~*
A figure could be seen holding up a large metallic mechanism...
"Shit..." He said with an annoyed tone.
"You okay down there Alex?" The blue beast asked."
"Yeah I'm fine, but the machine isn't..." Alex responded.
As if he felt the press stress from matching his lift... Soon after, gashes of electricity and the increase of loud vibrations became more apparent. Signaling that the motor was going to explode soon...
"OFF!" He shouted. Automatically, the machine stopped moving. He got up, wiping the sweat from his face and body... He shook my arm from the workout, getting out the stiff feeling he had.
"*grunts* I still can't get used to it.' Beast said, with bewilderment...
"Me neither, the kid is an absolute monster." Scott added, looking at the results.
"He easily just added another 4 tons..." Logan chided in.
The three looked at Alex with surprised, wondering if beast's theory was actually right...
They all looked at the boy below them from the chamber above... Alex the boy that came here just two weeks ago had undergone substantial changes, adding an extra 2 inches to his height, and gaining 5 kilos of pure muscle within a mere two weeks. To him, the transformation appeared positive.
He now boasted exceptional fitness, devoid of any unhealthy fat to be seen, though he didn't consider himself muscular, rather, he was just extremely toned...
Not only did his body alter, but he realized his facial features also underwent a subtle changes over the recent weeks, he found himself gradually becoming what he confidently deemed, 'attractive.'
Comparing his current appearance to his previous life, Alex was considerably more attractive, a fact that pleased him immensely.
Satisfied with his overall progress, he finished cleaning up and swiftly donned his shirt, exiting the training room for the day...
.
.
.
As he wandered the halls, he suddenly saw a familiar face...
'Ororo?' Alex pondered silently.
"Good morning, Alex," she greeted him.
"Good morning... Seeing as you came from that direction, I'm assuming you just finished training?" She stated.
He nodded.
"Yeah, I just finished up a couple minutes ago, but I can't stay too long Ororo, take care." he replied, walking past her briskly...
However, as he moved past her, she glanced back, noticing his considerable transformation over the past two weeks... If she hadn't seen it herself, she wouldn't have believed that the boy she had saved could change so dramatically.
'He seems... Different.' She thought again. Looking at the somewhat broad-back of her junior. She witnessed first had how in two weeks, Alex went through one would call a small evolution...
Moreover, she had too come to witness that he appeared to possess prodigious amounts of raw talent.
For the past few weeks, Alex had dedicated himself to a somewhat intense training regimen, pushing the limits of the available equipment. The hydraulic press, being at 40 tons now, posed a little to no challenge when it came to his growth.
He managed his regiment, trying to find a balance, to not waste himself for the day. So his explosive growth was distributed throughout training all his attributes instead...
Because of this, most of his and energy time were consumed by speed and reaction training, though the facility fell short in fully challenging his capabilities, somewhat hindering his progress. Despite the notice his growth garnered, he paid it little attention to it...
He had swiftly ascended to become one of the strongest individuals in the vicinity within a mere fortnight, in pure physicality though. However, departure felt closer than ever for him; while the facility offered almost everything he needed, there were still gaps...
He sighed...
'I say another week tops before I leave...' He thought to himself. At the rate he was going, he would soon max out all the setting for the training room. He couldn't go too hard either, or the machine would hit its limit like it did today...
'If I keep growing there might be no machine that will help me grow stronger.' He thought grimly... Walking towards his new relaxing spot.
As he walked, Alex checked his status...

~ Alex's Pov/First person Pov ~
.
.
.
I opened the Library door, still seeing no one in sight...
'Empty as always, no one comes here.' Literally, no a soul in sight, other than a person or two from the last two weeks, but none today it seems...
It was the only place that was genuinely quiet, coupled with a beautiful view. Like the back of the library itself.
I sighed, continuing towards the back of the it. I'd likely see her again today too. As I made my way in, I heard voices becoming more audible...
I didn't want to pry, so I ignored it.
But some things, were just too loud to ignore...
I saw her sat engrossed in a book as usual, her attention fixed on the pages before her...
"Look at her, all alone as usual," one mutant snickered, nudging his friend. I saw her head sway to her right...
"Yeah, she thinks she's better than us just 'cause she's got that power," another chimed in.
"Could you just leave me alone?" I heard her say. It sounded tired... How long was this going on for?
Still, the taunts grew louder...
"Oh? She fights back, be careful guys, she might hurt us!" One of them said, clearly with sarcasm. The others laughed.
"Hey, Rogue, what's it like never being able to touch anyone?" I heard another say.
'Rogue... So that's her name. Still, typical bully behavior...' I thought, exhaustedly...
I could see it, the words hit her like a physical blow, she lowered her gaze.
'Seriously... Who the hell comes to a lonely library just to tease someone? Aren't these kids in a similar predicament like her?' I thought to myself. What could make her powers that much different?
Still...
'She reminds me of what I used to be...' I thought slightly solemnly.
I was a bullied victim up until a couple weeks ago and in this life I had it real bad, but in my first one, it was palpable. Fact of the matter was that she was hurt...
Before the little shit could get another word in, I made my presence known.
I walked calmly over to where they all were...
"Hey, everything alright here?" I asked calmly.
The group turned, eyeing me warily.
"Yeah, everything's just peachy." one of them replied sarcastically.
I glanced at Rogue, concern and surprise etched on her face. "You okay?" I asked her.
Rogue nodded, though her discomfort was evident.
I turned my attention back to the group. "Why don't you all go find something productive to do instead of bothering someone who's clearly not interested in your company?" I said to them.
The leader of the group scoffed. "What's it to you, new kid? She's not your problem."
I scoffed. "She's a member of this mansion just like you, are. That sort of makes it my problem." I retorted. God I sounded cringy.
In seconds I saw the group of four exchange glances, weighing their options. Finally, with muttered complaints, they dispersed, leaving Rogue and me in the quiet library alone.
'Smart of them.' I thought.
With them leaving, I went over towards her. "You good?" I asked again.
She nodded hesitantly. "Thanks..." Rogue said softly, her eyes still fixed on the book in front of her. However her expression was one I was too familiar with...
I pulled up a chair beside her. "They don't know what they're talking about." I said, trying to cheer her up.
"I'm used to it." she replied, a hint of resignation in her voice.
I could feel my eyes twitching slightly at that remark...
"Well, you shouldn't have to be." I said firmly. "...You're part of this place, and you deserve respect. Just as any of us do." I continued...
Rogue managed a small smile, grateful for his support. "Thanks... Alex, right? I appreciate it." She said. I just realized she had a country accent. It fit her.
"Anytime," I replied, offering her a reassuring smile before returning to my own reading nearby. With a sigh... I thought maybe, it wouldn't be so bad if I should stick around the library a little longer than usual today...
