Chapter 233

We ate the food with ease and before we knew it, everyone was enjoying the food and talking merrily, the Nova Prime had to go run an errand and couldn't keep us company.

"Have this, it's very tasty!" Jean said as she kept pouring food on my plate.

After twenty or so minutes, we were done with the food and now it was time for us to leave, not before establishing a relationship with Nova Prime, one that would earn us money and a reputation.

I already have the blueprints for so many variations of the ship I just ate and many more, just need to implement them and I will have an armada of ships with me.

The Nova Prime arrived as we walked with her to her office,

"Again, I can't tell how appreciative we are for what you did, I believe you called yourself the avengers." She looked back.

"Yes, that's what we are called." I told her.

We arrive in the office and everybody sits down, as she starts to congratulate us and keeps thanking us for our help, I just nod and let it pass.

Once she pauses, I put forward my request and ask her to think about it, though she has something else in mind.

"The Avengers...I would like to integrate you into our forces, I would be very happy if you could join our forces permanently and become a member of the Xandar for good." she said, ready to offer some lucrative positions to me, but I don't want to be in one place for too long, and much of the chaos and fun usually occurs on Earth.

"And what does that mean, you know if you face any repercussion from Thanos, then you can just ask for help and I will come."

"No...the councils believe in a much more direct approach, you become a part of our forces and in return, you will be heavily rewarded." The Nova prime says as she puts her hands on the table.

She believes that the avengers only consist of me, jean and Bruce and that with us on her side she could potentially keep Xander safe or whatever, I wouldn't become a citizen for anything, even if the benefits were a hundred times better.

"I am afraid I will have to decline, though if you would like, I would like to establish a trade with the Xandarianz."

I then began to tell her the details regarding the storage cubes and she was hooked on the idea, I practically had the whole thing in the bag.

After the day ended, we left for our ship, Nova Prime wanted us to stay for a while, but I wanted to do some stuff, such as my usual training with my ultimate skills as I believe I can make them stronger.

Surprisingly, this time Jean also came with me as she already knows about much of my skill, she keeps an eye on me, although she doesn't know about all my powers.

She also knows that I can use the Phoenix force but she is chill with it, what I am worried about is the Phoenix that can erase us from the world, but maybe I won't be dying as easily as before.

I do have multiple confilicting skills that provide me with immortality, The Lord of Trials and the Phoenix force.

Both are conflicting as one promise true death after seven times and the other outright denies the claim.

'I also feel that in a week the superman template will reach halfway as well.'

We arrived on the deserted planet and let everything out as Jean and I had a good spar before we both started doing our own thing,

She was still weaker then me, if I were to call myself above a planet buster, then she is on the level of a continent buster.

I keep training myself with the powers of Lord of trials to increase my limits go newer levels everyday, so that I can harness more of the power.

The thing doesn't seem to have hit a limit on how much physical strength it can give me yet.

'One punching the planet is what I want.' I couldn't help but think how awesome it would be to just turn Thanos into bloody mist the moment we meet.

As I was training, the system notified me of the template being done halfway, the superman template is one of the most easiest to complete and nobody can convince me otherwise.

As we were meditating,I felt a wave of aura spread, a big number of enemies were coming towards us.

Thousands of ships were heading in out directions and they were all colored red in my map.

'Is it Thanos?'

I looked up and tried to sense the army, it didnt carry the same presence as that of those mindless Chitauri.

A giant ship was heading towards us, this one was twice the size of the Dark ester that I gobbled up like skittles.

Countless attack ships were also heading towards us along with it.

"Jack! whats going on here,is it that Thanos guy you were talking about?" Jean who was busy meditating also sensed what was going on and came towards me.

"No, this is someone else, lets wait and see what they are looking for."
