44 44. End

It's been full two years since they entered the Enchanted Forest and the time for them to leave is also coming near.

Their progress in the past two years has been phenomenally good. They have made a lot of progress in every aspect of their strength.

King's strength has reached a good two thousand tons and nearly increased by fourteen hundred tons in a span of eighteen months.

Elaine also gained a good fifteen hundred tons of strength. Her progress has not been small either and she has even been forced to learn some close combat by King after they had a close call. Her progress in strength has been around 1200 to 1300 tons.

It was when she went out to hunt on her own with Lopt and emptied her magic. She has been trained enough to keep awake even after exhausting her magic.

But things took a turn for the worse. A wolf sneak attacked on them and used the power of shadows to not be heard or smelled either.

Elaine was helpless and didn't even know how to defend herself. Which resulted in her protecting her body with her arm and the wolf literally tore that arm off of her.

Lopt made timely assist and rushed at the wolf and killed it by biting its neck off. Then he didn't wait and teleported Elaine straight to King.

The Dark Knights were also caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the wolf and sweated about the consequences of their negligence.

One of the Dark Knights took off towards the castle and others also took off towards the Treehouse to see the situation with the princess.

On the other hand, Lopt had taken Elaine back to the treehouse and was barking as loud as it can with distress.

"What happened Buddy? Oh shit" King quickly came out of the treehouse when he heard Lopt's shouting and looked at the bloodied Elaine on its back.

"Bring her in, quick". He said urgently and laid her on the bed before using light magic to close the wound and stop the bleeding as soon as possible.

"Need to use all my powers". King murmured and activated the divinity of light and Disaster along with the power of realm to supplement himself.

Soon, Elaine's bones squirmed out and grew till they formed a hand. Them nerves and muscles connected together before flesh grew on top of her arm and her arm was as good as new.

"Tha-". King couldn't even finish his words and fainted on top of her after exhausting all his strength.

King shook his head after he was done reminiscing about the past and looked at Elaine sleeping beside him on the bed with her head resting on his chest contentedly.

'My divinity really took a boost after that especially the light and Life. I had to work hard to increase the divinity of death to keep a balance after that'. King couldn't shaking his head when he thought of that.

Enchanted Forest isn't all that different from a normal forest with the only difference being that there is some super strong animals or monsters whatever you wanna call them.

King prefers to call them monsters since they are that damn strong to match minor gods and some are strong enough to even go toe to toe with the major gods like the knight commanders from different kingdoms.

But their numbers didn't exceed ten in the whole forest which wasn't much and they were actually treated like the guardians of the forest.

They would even assist if there was ever an attack on the realm of Alfheim and stand toe to toe with the army to confront the enemy.

Their wisdom was extremely high after they achieved such a high realm of strength painstakingly.

'These two years have been very productive but I still need more to even have the strength of a regular knight in the Royal Knight Corps'. King pondered on his strength and analysed the amount of strength he will need to stand at the average strength of Royal Knights.

'Each Royal Knight is at least at the standard of a Minor god in ability. From what I have learned each realm has itself own way to push people into the minor god realm but that exhausts their potential for any future development.

Not everyone is given or can take this privilege either. The wielder needs to be able to withstand some tests of strength and loyalty before they are allowed to advance.

Although it forms the army and even gives people the strength and the lifespan of a God but the price paid is also quite heavy with the amount of resources needed to perform this advancement is also astonishing'. The Bracelet is currently set at two thousand tons to keep his power restrained to a peak Human level but it unlocks automatically if he receives or even perceives an attack coming at him.

"Elaine, wake up. We can go back to the castle today". King shook Elaine on his body and tried to wake her up.

She has turned into a very spoiled sleeper in these two years and never tries to get up if King isn't forceful in doing it.

Back at the castle, she had to do all kinds of studies but now there is nothing to worry about here. She can be free and doesn't have to get up early to start her studies everyday.

She likes this life way better than the life at the castle. She is surrounded by nature in a closed environment with King and has no worries about studies.

She would much rather stay here than go back to the castle for all the things again. She only misses her mother a lit which is drawback of staying here but that can be solved with King's help.
