37 37. Enchanted Forest

King woke up the next day with a terrible headache but a clear memory of the events that happened last night.

He turned to look towards his side and saw a naked Elaine laying on his chest happily. There was a blooming smile on her face like she was having the best dream.

'Oh shit, Mom is going to kill me'. King dreaded in his mind and prayed that he could tide out of this difficulty safely.

He knew that he done and fucked up in the heat of the moment but was done was done and he couldn't regret it now.

He could only pump his chest and face the upcoming pandemonium from his mother head on for his future with his sister/lover.

On the other side in the castle, Aelsa was currently talking to her Right hand Minister Ayelah and the Knight Commander Sir Ivory Honeyshot.

"My Queen, why didn't you stop the Young Prince and Princess?" Ayelah questioned and looked at Aelsa inquisitively.

Ayelah is a Light Elf with bluish skin and brown pupils. Contrary to Aelsa normal Human looking skin, Ayelah has light blue skin like most Light elves.

Aelsa is a Light Elf as well and can be regarded to have Royal or noble blood flowing in her veins and can inherit the throne after Frey.

Alfheim has a lot of vessel kingdoms like kingdom of Dwarves. Giants, fairies/Pixies and different Elves and mermaids.

The realm of Alfheim is vast and can be regarded to be multiple times the diameter of earth. So some small vassal kingdoms with some form of autonomy is no problem for them.

"They are young and need to learn some lessons. When the two return, bring them to the throne right away". Aelsa said lightly and left the small conference room to the throne room.

The two are after all the prince and princess of Alfheim and it would be abnormal if no one knew that the two went away and no one knew their whereabouts.

King had also finally awakened the sweetly speaking Elaine and couldn't help but smile when he saw her sweet smile.

"Ah, I feel so refreshed". Elaine yawned and stretched her arms.

"Let's go and wash". King shook his head and went to the attach bathroom to the room.

Elaine didn't deny it and followed behind King obediently to the bathroom. They were both going to take a bath together after so long.

"King can you help me wash. I don't know how to do it?" Elaine looked puzzled at all the things in the bathroom and asked King in distress.

She has been washed by the maids since she could remember her own name and she hasn't touched a bar of soap in her life.

Now she feels distressed when she sees these things and doesn't know what to do. She could only pin her hopes on King.

"Sit down". King laughed wryly and asked her sit down on the stool. Elaine followed his instructions and obediently sat down.

"You use the soap like this". King showed her and started to wash her hair first before helping her in washing her body as well.

After finishing all this, he cleaned himself and got into the bath with her. The bath wasn't all that big but it was comfortable for two people at least.

After the bath, King checked out and the proprietress returned the excessive change back to King. She was a bit regretful but didn't intend to cheat the customer.

King thanked her and went to the palace immediately to report to Aelsa about their affairs or it would be bad if she found out on her own.

King flew on Chastiefol and took Elaine straight to the throne room to meet Aelsa. He wanted to announce it anyway and there was nothing to hide.

He doesn't lie. So it would be bad to lie to the populace about his affair with Elaine and Incest isn't much of a deal in Alfheim when Royal families and Nobles practice it all the time to keep bloodline pure.

They have specific medicines and Magics to take out the side effects from any kind of deed like this and it has been regarded as an everyday thing actually.

"Mom". King called put and rushed into the throne room uninvited.

"You still know Mom huh". Aelsa looked pissed and her face was unusually clam but her voice was cold.

Both King and Elaine shivered after hearing the ice cold and emotionless words from her mouth.

This only happened once before when Elaine took King and nearly had themselves killed because they went to the forbidden area.

Then further restrictions were added to make sure that the two couldn't even get close to the area and Aelsa had the same face and tone from that time.

"Mom". King hung his head a bit down and called pitifully and Elaine followed suit with a pitiful expression.

"I am not against your relationship with each other. The ministers were even happier with the news but there are rules and time for everything.

You arbitrarily decided to do this on your own and as the queen of Alfheim, it is my duty to punish you even if I want to or not". Aelsa looked at the two's pitiful appearance and her gaze softened immediately. She sighed and told them the truth.

"I am happy for you two but what has to happen will not be tolerated". Aelsa again said with a strong voice and majesty.

"You will be banished to the Enchanted Forest for a period of two years with no help". Aelsa's order resounded and the realm flashed with lightning.

The whole order appeared in the ears of all the people of Alfheim. Since the punishing of the Beloved Prince and the Princess was a big thing.

It wasn't a problem if King wasn't already going to be engaged to the princess of another realm but since he was then there has to be a resolution to this behaviour to put some ice on the wounds caused.

At least to appease the anger of Vanaheim and to not deteriorate the good relationship between the two realms.

After two years, King will have the excuse to wed Elaine and Freyja along with Frey will have nothing to say except voiding the engagement itself which they will not do.
