3 3. Meeting

Alex was currently watching the scene of his death and his whole life was being played in his mind like a video recorder.

He was slowly forgetting some of the important things in his mind. He was frustrated but couldn't stop it.

The process was continuous and automatic. He couldn't control it at all. It was just flashing and some things would disappear randomly from his memory.

He was just watching the whole process flash in front of his eyes and some images blur like they couldn't be remembered at all.

'I can't remember my friends, Parents and my name at all. I can't even remember all the fun things that I might have done with my family'. Alex sighed and lamented his fate.

He was very depressed about this and couldn't help sighing again and again multiple times.

He could still remember his favourite songs, music, movies and all the anime that he had watched but just his identity and the people that he ever saw in his life couldn't be remembered at all.

Suddenly, his soul was shook hard like he was being sucked into somewhere else.

Alex slowly opened his eyes and looked around curiously to see what was happening around him.

It took him a lot of effort to open his eyes and finally being able to see clearly.

All around him was a scene of hell. Blood was flowing like a river and there was a barren and cracked ground below him.

He couldn't see anything around him and all of it was just blood and a wasteland for miles on end.

'Guess, I should try moving around. Sitting here will not help with anything'. He thought and started moving towards a random direction.

He kept on walking and slowly the surroundings started to change.

Instead of just Blood and cracked ground, bones started to appear all over the place.

The farther you walk, the more bones you can see covering the ground like a carpet.

The ground started to tilt upwards as the bones started to pile up into a hill gently and ever so slowly.

Alex slowly made his forward while vigilantly looking around at the surroundings for any anomalies.

He was a bit scared from all the bones on the ground but he just held his heart and continued on without stopping.

Soon, he was astonished by sight before him. He saw skeletons of various sizes and shapes kneeling on the ground while leaving a small pathway in the middle.

Alex walked on the path and looked at all the skeletons kneeling on the ground with extreme curiosity in his eyes.

He could see skeletons with bones for ears and some skeletons that had long nose bones and some with triple joints on their bodies.

The skeletons were just in various shapes that he had never seen before and their numbers were like an Ocean that stretched to the horizon without an end.

Alex shivered a bit from the cold he felt around the place but he was sure that he was going the right way.

Something was giving him he courage to keep going forward and he also had a feeling that something good was awaiting him.

So Alex took a deep breath. At least tried to because he was just a soul. So taking a breath wasn't really his thing.

So he just continued forward and a chill kept crawling his back. It was getting colder and colder, the more he walked forward.

At the end of the passage. There was a big mountain made entirely of Bones.

If seen properly from afar. You could say that it was even bigger than Everest itself. A truly dreadful and magnificent sight.

"You are finally here". A seductive and arousing voice travelled to his ear like a breeze that made Alex get into a daze.

He snapped out after just an instant but it showed how much power that voice held in it to send a person into a daze with a small sentence.

"Who are you?" Alex yelled and looked around vigilantly.

"(Giggle), don't be nervous. I am not malicious to you Husband". A playful and teasing voice came that again affected Alex and made him feel extremely comfortable and trusting.

"H-Husband?" Alex asked strangely when he heard the form of address.

"Yes, come here, I will tell you". A power lifted him up in the air and he levitated over to the mountain.

His altitude slowly went up and he finally reached the top of the mountain.

There was a throne on the top of the mountain with a white haired woman sitting on it with a seductive smile on her lips.

There was another throne beside her with a brown haired woman sitting on it. She looked kind of transparent like she was a mirage but her body was slowly getting more real as time passed.

"Please have a seat". Lady Death said and motioned him in front.

With the wave of her hand. A throne similar to the one that she was sitting on appeared and she motioned her hand.

Alex nodded his head nervously and sat down on the throne in front of the two woman.

There was complete silence in the place. Everyone were just looking at each other silently without saying anything.

It was like they were analysing each other and waiting for someone to take the initiative to speak.

Alex gulped his saliva, at least tried to. The atmosphere was really tense around him. He didn't know what to do.

"What's my name?" He still bit the bullet because he couldn't stand it. Plus he eagerly wanted to know his name.

It was like a very powerful itch in his heart that was not going away ever since he lost some of his memories.

"We cannot tell you that". Lady Death shook her head in denial with a bit of pity in her eyes.

She knew how lonely and hard it was to not even have a name. She had suffered the same before she had formed herself into a conscious entity and got a name for herself.

But they really couldn't tell him some of the things from his past. It would become an obsession and he wouldn't really be able to enjoy his new life. So they took some measures.
