8 Chapter 8: Rebound

The infinity stones are a marvel. I can do so much with the mind stone but until I can fully control it I will only use it as a lie detector. It might seem like a waste but since the future is now uncertain for me as well knowing when people, who tell me that they meant no harm or have no intention of harming me, are lying does not sound half bad. I can always make a few fake weaknesses for them to "exploit" to their advantage.

I am currently trying to find the retired Ant-man. I know the reason why Thanos lost even when he had all infinity stones. It's because Dr. Strange saw all the possibilities in the future. He could see that my weakness are fake.

It took three days to find him and make coincidently cross paths with him. I used the mind stone's ability to scan all his knowledge. I had already calculated the equations for time travel and more but I needed to know how to make Pym particles to achieve the project Fog.

It took three months to create Pym particles as I had to build a last-minute lab and steal a couple of things from Hydra base but I hacked into their mainframe and marked it as junk that was disposed of.

The project Fog was to camouflage my future. It would not be strong enough to be permanent but it should last until I get the reality stone which I would use to make it permanent.

After a few more months, I received an alert that Jane was going to a place that had abnormal energy readings. I had tried that place but the portal would not open. I shielded myself with the help of the mind stone and the space stone. Even that all-seeing Heimdall will not be able to see me as I would be disrupting the space around me to let the light go through and adding a little psychic attack to those that would look further into the disruption. It would make them think that nothing is happening and forget any suspicion they once had about the disruption.

I arrived before Jane and her team. I waited for her to enter and created a psychic link with her, though she never noticed it. When she felt fear I knew she had found it, I went to her with my super speed. Fortunately, she had not yet entered the so-called door. I entered before her and saw what I was looking for. I immediately touch the weird monolith and the Aether went into my body but to its surprise I absorbed it.

For the past months, I had used the space stone to direct the yellow sunlight of many suns straight through my body. It was like bathing in front of multiple suns at the same time while doing my work on Earth. I was getting stronger, strong enough to withstand the power of more infinity stones.

I calculated that I was strong enough to assimilate it in a few hours, which I did. This time I did not create an artificial stone as I did not need to hide it like that. After I assimilated the reality stone, I created my own super-suit same as my old one except that I had the crest of the house of Zod on my chest and cap. I put a red stone on the part of my suit that covered the place between my two collarbones. It looked like the real stone but it was a yellow sun trapped in a red crystal. It would serve as a basic battery and I could recharge faster if I use a solar flare.

After I finished this, I was transported back to Earth where Thor was arguing with Jane. Once he saw me, he looked like he found his way out. He came and told me that we have to go to Asgard. I was curious about how Asgard looked so I did not decline his invitation. He opened the Bifrost.

When we arrived Heimdall instantly pointed his sword at me.

"Heimdall! What is the meaning of this! I have brought him as a guest. Drop your sword!"

The real reason he brought me was to avoid his fight with Jane but his plan did not work as Jane saw that he was lying about whatever foe he needed my help to fight and joined us. Heimdall did not drop his sword.

"Apologies my prince but I can not let him pass. He has the Aether on him."

This shocked Thor and Heimdall Sounded a horn. He said that Odin will come to judge me but I was not afraid. Magic was useless against me to do to my absorption skill. I was like Kai Parker from The Vampires Dairies. I could siphon the magic from any spell aimed at me. I also had three infinity stones, there was a low chance of that happening. If there was a fight, Odin would surely go for the stone on my chest first. I made it so that it looks like the reality stone. I also put a fake space stone on my abs. This will make my opponent think that they only need to take them away to weaken me. Even Heimdall could only know I have the space stone as well as the Aether. I have not let the mind stone be seen outside and when I was assimilating them I purposely used both stones to avoid his eyes.

Odin came with a legion of soldiers behind him.

"What is the meaning of this?!"

"My king! This one has the Aether in his possession."

I interjected.

"It's actually the reality stone."

Odin looked at me, he was intrigued as not many should know of this.

"How did you get it?"

"I looked for it and found it."

He saw that I was not going to say anything else. Some soldiers found my actions to be insolent and voiced it out.

"If you think that is rude try being invited only to get a sword pointed at your throat after two steps of entering."

Odin calmed his men and invited us in.

We feasted till dawn and during the feast, someone suggested that Thor and I fight. We agreed. I was curious about something.

We fought shirtless due to the suggestion of many ladies. I did not need to pull my push that much as Thor could take them. At one point he threw his hammer at me and managed to knock me out for a few seconds until everyone heard me get up while muttering something.

"Think is the Word of Zod,

Work is the Word of Zod,

Will is the Word of Zod,..."

I got up and picked up Myonir that was next to me. I heard a voice.

~Is thy Worthy?~

I thought to myself.

'Worthy? That's just a concept born from luxury. I'm aiming to survive in this world filled with dangerous beings that can kill me at any time. If someone tries to fight me I'll fight back. That's all there is to know about me.'

~Interesting! Thy view is interesting. Thy may take my power for thyself~

I then lifted the hammer much to everyone's surprise. Lighting flew everywhere, it forced Odin to act and stopped the duel. He looked pleased as this proved that I was not a bad guy.

It seems that he did not know that inside the hammer was a space storm that was once sealed inside the mineral that made it. I now had that power but I did not know what it was as I did not read further into the comics about it.

I spent the day being guided by Sif. She was reluctant at first when it was decided during the banquet but after my fight with Thor, she was no longer against it. I guess powerful warriors are respected here. While we were sightseeing I heard an explosion happening and went towards it. I knew it was the dark elf attacking. I managed to arrive in the cell only to find Loki telling me it went towards the right stairs. I knew he lied and I managed to catch the dark elf before he hurt Odin's wife. I waited for a while until Malekith the Accursed. I broke all four limbs and handed him to Odin. He was over the moon when he saw that Malekith was still alive and he could "personally" punish him for his attack against Asgard.

I told them what Loki had done as he sent me in the wrong direction. Odin was furious until I proposed the perfect punishment for him. I used the reality stone to create an illusion of Frigga's dead body.

Everyone was in on the joke as they had all been pranked by Loki before. When Loki learned what had "happened" to his mother he was devastated. After a few days, he was brought into the courtroom where he looked like a mess after Odin undid his magic illusion.

The prank was going well until Thor laughed and revealed Frigga was alive. She was mad that Loki stood so low as to help an enemy but when she saw how much she meant to him she easily forgave her son.

We all had laughed about it and Loki was even impressed that I managed to prank him. As a prankster, he had enough pride to admit that it was quite the prank but that was only because he was happy that his mother was alive. Seen that I was the one that had saved her, Loki did not even hold it against me. I was honored as a friend of Asgard. this meant that I will always be welcome here.

The next day I woke up to the ray of sunshine hitting my eyes. I did not seem to want to leave the bed. It was probably because I had a beautiful naked lady sharing the same bedsheet. I moved my hand to squeeze her firm yet soft peach-shaped ass.

"If you don't remove your hand I will cut it off." Said Sif.

Thanks to Thor's loudmouth, everyone knew of my breakup. She was not feeling well seeing Thor being lovey-dovey with Jane. While both of us were drunk we made out before deciding that it was a one-time thing. Neither of us was in a place for starting a relationship.

I smiled at her words and brought my other hand to caress her two marshmallow mountains.

"You know, I'm leaving today and it's not finished until one of us gets dressed and leaves the room."

She moan when I kept rubbing her nipples.

"T-That does make sense."

We did it till the afternoon. One thing I liked about it was that I did not need to hold back. The Kryptonian body is great but when it came to sex with someone that does not have durability, there was the fear of going too far into the moment and thrusting your hips too fast. Before you realized it you had just gone past Mach 3.

Asgardians were sturdy enough not to be killed by that. When we left the room. I could hear people talking and looking at us weirdly. I knew they heard all of it from last night to just a few hours ago. The warriors three were the first to speak about it but they were also the last as Sif broke most of their bones.

The events in Iron-man 3 and Captain American winter soldier all happened between the fight with the Chitari and my stay at Asgard. When I returned, I was called and told to come to the Xavier mansion. Something was happening.
