6 Chapter 6: Says what...

I flew towards the location Fury sent me. I was there in a matter of moments thanks to my super speed. The thought of messing with Loki did cross my mind but I decided not to be careless with my mission. I had to touch the mind stone. I could let the events of the Avengers play out but why risk it when I could get it over with at the start and then enjoy myself. I walked up to Loki that was, from my point of view, frozen in time, and grabbed his scepter with all my strength. The blue gem broke, and my hand touched the mind stone.

I was instantly teleported back to pickle rick's office. There were balloons everywhere. He was in his human form. He spoke. "Congrats Kid you did! I didn't even need to blackmail you or do anything! That is a refreshing thing to see. I'm going to become mortal again with no memory of all this so you can relax after this you'll be free, and I won't do anything bad to you. I also must tell you that if you absorb the mind stone after you go back things will change. Things won't go the same way as in the movies instead they will go alongside the comics."

Before choosing my wishes, I had asked him what would happen to the mind stone after I finish my mission. He told me that it would not be affected and stay the same as if nothing had happened. I planned to collect certain infinity stones. I did not want all of them as I did not see the purpose of losing a loved one for the soul stone. The time stone was enticing but I was not greedy enough to force the Ancient One into changing time. I knew I could be seen as that much of a threat to those that would fight against me. I wanted to give them a sense of security until I obtained enough stones.

I did not remember the comics as much as the movies as I never directly read them, but I knew a bit and that was enough to discard the movies' plot for the mind stone. Rick saw that I had made up my mind and changed the subject.

"By the way, what are you going to do with that redhead…Jean or something?"

I looked him dead in the eye and responded, "I will do nothing."

"Damn, so that's you're revenge huh. Can't say I hate your style, it's kind of poetic in a way. Well enough of that, I need another favor."

Rick was not a fool. I had erased my feelings for Jean, but the feeling of betrayal was still there. He knew why doing nothing would be considered revenge. The favor he asked for was to be a therapist and helped him out of it. I accepted since he was still a God at this point and could very well screw things for me.

I managed to make Beth and Jerry believe that they needed Rick around as they like to use him as the excuse for their marriage failing and that he was a victim. He spends time with Morty as he felt guilty about not being there for Beth. They bought the whole thing and although Rick, who had lost his memory, was septic, he did not reject the gift horse presented to him.

When I came back to the office, I found a note from pickle Rick.

~Kid, you did me a solid right there. It's a shame you're not a Morty cuz I would trade him over you any day of the week and as thanks for doing me a favor, here is a little parting gift. ~

It was a transparent stone. When I touched it, I instantly knew what it was? It was a device I could use to transfer 5% of an Infinity stone into the air which will condense itself into another infinity stone. I would absorb the original infinity stone slowly to give it time to go back to 100% before assimilating it. The new infinity stone would recharge itself after some time depending on how close it was to its charger.

Rick made it so that I could summon it out of nowhere. It would usually hide in my body, and no one could discover it let alone take it.

I was back in the real world. It seems that Rick had given me a freebie as I had the real mind stone in me, and Loki had the artificial one in his undamaged scepter.

Now that my mission was finished, and I could have some fun I landed next to Captain America. Loki told me that I should have stayed in my kneeling position. He had mistaken my superhero landing for me kneeling to him. I looked at him and said, in a soft and low voice. "Guy who's gonna get bitch slapped says what."

"Wha-"said Loki before I send him to the ground with a backhand.

Tony came and was disappointed that he could not show off. We took Loki into custody until Thor arrived, fought Took Loki, fought Tony, and was stopped by Captain America.

While we were discussing what to do with Loki, Tony came toward me.

"Heard you about you? How should I call you? Superhero name or real name?"

I could see that Natasha had given him a look before he talked. He knew about my breakup with Jean which meant that Shield knew about it too. I can bet that they put in my file to never mention this in big capital red words.

I looked at Tony and responded. "You can call me how you like but since I'm in costume I'd prefer you call me Lor-Zod. 'I saw that he was about to say something, and I knew what it was.' No not Lord but LOR-Zod."

He was satisfied as I did not seem to damage his ego. It was Thor's turn to speak. "I do not care what he has done Loki is of Asgard and we will punish as our custom demands it." I sat on a chair and put my feet on the table before speaking to him. "I frankly don't care what happens to him but to tell him next time he tells me to kneel I will break his knees so bad he won't be able to stand up. 'Thor seemed angry at this and came at me. I stood up and lighted my eyes.' I don't care if you call yourself the god of thunder if you think I'm gonna bend to your whim just because he's your brother then you're dead wrong."

He was about to speak when Natasha told him the amount of death Loki caused which calmed him down as that amount was too great to take Loki without explaining. Fury came in and thanked me for helping off my initiative. I was puzzled and told him that he had called me to ask for my help. He was puzzled. It took a moment for things to click in. I laughed and spoke. "So, it was bait. They used Loki as bait. I'll be gone for a few hours."

I left at super speed as I could hear what was happening at the Xavier mansion. Stryker had brought an army to take back weapon X-23 also known as Laura the clone/daughter of Logan. Magneto was also here for the girl as he probably thought she could make a good asset to his cause.

I landed between Stryker and the gang from the school. "Stryker, why are you here? I recall that the president was very adamant about never attacking the school." I said looking at his army.

He was angry and yelled. "That's because you threatened him that nobody would look for his body on one of the rings of Saturn! You think your hot shit, but we know your weakness courtesy of Professor Xavier over there. We won't back down this time."

I looked at the cue ball behind me and it seemed Stryker was telling the truth considering the face he was making. I can already picture it. The government must have told him they would trust the school more if he gave them a way to stop me if I went rogue or something along the line.

Magneto seemed the angriest about this. "Charles! You gave them his weakness! Are you even on the side of mutants?"

Magneto knew what I had done. What my existence means to the government. I was technically their deterrent to overly persecute mutants. He also knew that I would not hesitate to fight back if they pushed me too far. He had never been so happy that a student of Charles was immune to his control.

Logan looked at Charles as if asking if he had dementia. The others did the same.

I looked at Stryker. He had put red sun radiation in place, and they were pointing it straight at me. "Even if you know my weakness, it will take time for it to affect me so either leave under and minute or I'll make you leave."

The soldiers were scared. It was because I had just ripped the head of one of Stryker's enhanced soldiers at super speed. "If anyone of you leaves, I will have you executed for treason!"

I looked at them and smiled. "Is that an ultimatum? I love Ultimatum! 'My eyes grew red.' EITHER DIE BY HIM OR DIE BY ME!"

Most of them left while the rest fired at me. It took a few seconds to blast everyone remaining soldier with my heat vision. II had a different plan for Stryker so I let him live.

I went to the gang who were looking at me. I smiled and spoke. "Problem solved."

It was Rogue that spoke first. "Well, that settles it. She downgraded in every way."

We all looked at Jean, who was next to Scott. She did not seem fine and only Professor loud mouth, Magneto, Jean, and I knew the reason for that.
