Attack on Hydra part 4

**{Ritsuka POV}**

As we ventured deeper underground, Morgan, Jean, and I felt a barrier around the place.

While moving, I touched Jean's hand, and suddenly I was flooded with memories—those of the first host of the Phoenix on Earth, from 1,000,000 BC. No, they weren't just memories of the host; they were memories of Earth itself.

I don't know why I got glimpse of the Phoenix host's memories. Is Earth trying to warn me that the Phoenix is coming? I remember the Phoenix storyline from the movie, so I know how it's supposed to play out, but I don't intend to follow that plot. I'll reveal the truth about the Phoenix and handle it in my own way. I'll do everything I can to save Earth, even if it means going off-script. But first, Charles needs to wake up. He has to reveal his dark secrets to everyone—or I will do it for him. My actions might cause the X-Men to distrust Charles or even lead to the disbanding of the team, but that's better than letting them die. I want the Phoenix to be a force for good, to protect the world. I can't let this opportunity slip away. Only a fool would allow the Phoenix to take Jean from the world.

"Husband, I think the cosmic power is leaking out. I'm afraid we need to talk with the others to find the source as soon as possible," Morgan said, already understanding what was about to happen.

I nodded and turned towards Jean. "Jean, can you sense the people near this wall? If not, just nod."

Jean couldn't sense anyone and nodded.

I raised my palm toward the wall and channeled my Mana into it.

"Gandr."

A massive burst of magical energy shot from my palm like a bullet, obliterating the wall and continuing deeper, destroying other walls in the cave.

Seeing this destruction, Jean was shocked. She had thought I was weak, but the power of that attack could level a city. She could feel the energy I used. If I have such power, why do I act weak?

I observed the results of my attack. It surpassed my expectations. I had fully charged my Gandr to 60%. With the power boost from Gaia, all my attacks are now four times stronger.

Hearing the commotion, all members rushed outside and regrouped.

"Holy shit, did you do that?" Nightcrawler asked as he teleported in front of us.

"Yes."

"Hahahaha! We found the place where they're hiding. Let's burn those idiots to death—those who have no hope for the future," Dantes said, laughing loudly as everyone spotted the lab where the cosmic power was leaking and where Rogue was being held.

"Dude, stop giving that creepy smile," Tony said, as he and the others felt chills watching Dantes laugh.

Dantes ignored them and moved forward. We followed. What we saw were the disgusting experiments Hydra had conducted. The huge room was full of glass chambers and beds. In the glass chambers, filled with green-colored water, we saw young men and women with gas masks strapped to their noses.

On the beds, more men and women were being experimented on by people in white coats using various instruments. Many of the young men and women were screaming, but the white-coated people didn't seem to care. After the explosion I caused, they stopped and grabbed anti-mutant weapons to shoot us.

All the people in the room, along with Erik and Karna, stiffened at the horrifying scenes before them. It was too brutal and too horrible for any normal person to witness. These scenes didn't seem human at all. Karna, a warrior and saintly figure who once took a death curse for an innocent girl, felt disappointment in humans. Even Arjuna would feel the same. Morgan, having seen such behavior in Fairies who tortured for fun, was speechless. But humans were doing this to achieve something useful, and that left her truly at a loss for words.

There was blood on the floor, with various body parts and organs on trays. Though everything looked clean, the horror of it all was undeniable. The room was silent, and I could clearly hear the clenching of teeth and fists around me.

"HYDRA BASTARDS, DIE!" Erik shouted, using his power to crush the Hydra scientists slowly, methodically, crushing every part of their bodies.

"Heal," Morgan said, using her magic to heal all the children who had lost body parts.

All the other mutants present started to remove the mutants from the chambers. Da Vinci, Dantes, and Karna started helping the X-Men. Even Erik's team—Mystique, Juggernaut, and Gambit—joined in.

What we saw was depressing, and it would probably haunt us for ages. Especially Tony and Da Vinci, who usually had a carefree attitude. But this scene made them question their morals as humans.

Just as I was about to lead my team to the hidden door, we heard a weird noise from the computers.

"Hello, everyone. It seems you didn't like our lab. Well, I think I should introduce myself. I'm Arnim Zola, a Hydra member. Nice to meet you all, hahaha."

Then I saw a familiar face appear on the computer.

"Who the fuck are you?" Erik asked, stopping in his tracks.

"I'm—"

I cut him off, having already figured out what was going on. "It doesn't matter. He's trying to buy time for his boss. We need to get to the door behind him and stop whatever's going on. Rogue is inside."

"If he's the enemy, then we have nothing to talk about," Tony said, understanding my words. We needed to stop whatever was happening behind that door.

"You bastard! Who are you to ruin our plans? We created the perfect plan for the X-Men team, but you and your team came out of nowhere and destroyed it. We didn't get any information on you. It's almost as if you and your team appeared out of nowhere in this world," Zola shouted at me, clearly hating me.

But we ignored him and started moving. Even the X-Men understood what he meant. If not for us, they would have faced this disaster alone. Now, they were grateful and had more faith in me than before. When Jean said I was truthful, they hesitated because they had no faith in humans. They feared humans would always betray them. I understood that and didn't say anything. But now, trust had been established between us.

Suddenly, Zola laughed and initiated his second plan.

"Hahahaha, if you don't listen to me, then you'll never know the truth. Don't you want to know what happened to your children, Magneto?"

Hearing this, I was shocked. Is he really going to show that? Then suddenly, the screen displayed two kids with superpowers in a lab. Erik saw this and was shocked.

"Wanda, Pietro... How?" Erik asked, horrified to see his dead children many years ago are alive but in a Hydra lab.

"Yes, Mr. Erik, your children are alive. We tried to eliminate you and your family, but at that time, you weren't at home and escaped death. But miraculously, your wife saved your children somehow. I was surprised to learn your wife is also a mutant. We took your children to turn them into beautiful weapons. The process is still ongoing, hahaha," Zola laughed at Erik.

Seeing the screen, Erik understood what Hydra had done to his children. He realized that his wife (witch) had used her witchcraft to save their children before dying. Bloodlust radiated from Erik; he wanted to kill every single Hydra member and erase them from the world.

"And Mr. Stark, you think your parents died in an accident? Haha, yes, accidents do happen, and Hydra was behind it."

"What?" Tony said as he saw how his parents were killed by Bucky and Hydra. He watched the video of his parents' deaths.

"howard Stark tried to create a super-soldier serum and succeeded, but it had side effects. Nevertheless, we got a few powerful weapons out of it. Hahaha."

Tony turned away when he saw his mother's death. Anger boiled in his veins; he wanted revenge against Hydra. Dantes noticed the flames of vengeance burning in Tony's heart.

"Hm, yeah, I almost forgot to mention, Mr. Logan, do you know who killed your wife? It was us. And our secret Winter Soldier, whom Tony fought before, took your wife's dead body. The baby inside her womb had a strong survival instinct. The baby's healing ability saved her mother and herself. Both are in our custody. Mariko Yashida, your wife, gave birth to a beautiful daughter. Your daughter name is X-23, and she's receiving the same treatment as Erik's children. Hahaha."

Logan grabbed his head in disbelief. He had only loved one woman in his life who truly loved him for being Logan, not Wolverine. He had left everything to be with her after World War II, but his father-in-law's enemies had killed her to take over the clan. In revenge, he had killed everyone associated with his wife's murder.

"Impossible, it's fake. I saw her dead body. How can a mutant baby give a healing ability to a human?" Logan refused to believe it.

"It's possible, Logan. During pregnancy, fetal cells migrate into the mother. Fetal cells are found in various maternal tissues and organs, including blood, bone marrow, skin, and liver. But it seems to save her mother or the healing ability is so strong, the baby gave healing ability to her mother" Da Vinci explained.

Hearing this, Logan felt a surge of anger. The beast inside him awoke, yearning for Hydra's doom. Scott saw Logan angry for the first time and kept silent. He didn't want to say anything to him.

"Don't misunderstand us, my dear friends. We are doing everything for the greater good. When humanity doesn't like history, they change it. All winners will be forgotten. But Hydra is going to change that. Hydra made the world chaotic so humanity would willingly surrender their freedom. Now, with our new project, we are going to reach our goal. We won. Even Captain America's sacrifice is nothing but a stepping stone for us. We won, Captain, hahaha!" Zola mocked everyone, including Steve Rogers.

Hearing this, I felt angry because I had brought this team together, but in seconds, he broke us apart.

Suddenly, a door opened near us, and a group of soldiers came out. I saw Bucky and Taskmaster—the real ones. All of them had cosmic power flowing through their bodies.

"Sebastian Shaw," Scott said, recognizing the man who killed his brother.

"Let's fight, brat. I don't want to waste time."

Logan released his claws, and Tony was ready for battle. Both of them had a common enemy: Bucky Barnes, who had destroyed their loved ones. Magneto started to float in the air, his focus on Sebastian, who had taken his children and caused his wife's death. Suddenly, a huge robot-like machine jumped to the ground.

"This is our new creation, Nimrod, a prototype Sentinel designed to eliminate mutants, and it's been powered up with cosmic energy," Zola said, laughing.

I took charge and said, "Dantes, Da Vinci, stop Tony and Logan from killing the secret soldier. Karna, Juggernaut, take down Nimrod; it's dangerous for mutants. Scott, Jean, and the rest of you, if you stick to the no-killing rule and sit silently, the X-Men will lose their freedom one day. No one is going to force you to kill, but fight back without holding anything back. Forget Charles's morals. Beat them to death and leave," I commanded, turning to Da Vinci. Everyone heard my words.

I knew we were only going to face the final villain.

Iron Man and Logan started a death battle with Bucky. Just like in the Civil War, both of them tried everything to kill him, but with cosmic power, Bucky had become stronger than ever. To stop them, Dantes and Da Vinci rushed forward but were halted by Taskmaster.

"Da Vinci, let them feel the flames of vengeance. Once it cools down, we can stop them," Dantes said, and Da Vinci nodded. And started to fight with cosmic power Taskmaster.

Tony grabbed Bucky's face and smashed it against the wall. Logan stabbed his claws into Bucky's stomach.

"You'll pay for this," Logan said.

"Do you remember them?" Tony asked.

"Who?" Bucky replied before punching Tony, sending him crashing to the ground. Then he grabbed Logan and punched him so hard that one of Logan's eyeballs fell from his face. Bucky started to heal with cosmic power.

Magneto and Sebastian were evenly matched as they fought.

Everyone else started battling the Hydra agents.

"Ritsuka, this place has a Leyline. You can summon here," Da Vinci said through my earbuds.

"I won't let you move from here, brat," Zola said as an army of prototype Sentinels emerged from the floor.

I raised my hand and said, "Moon Cancer, come to me." I used one of my command spells to summon a specific servant.

A bright light flashed, and a powerful beautiful figure appeared.

"Fufufu, it's been a while, my pathetic Senpai. You're still as pathetic as ever; that's why I love it. Your favorite kouhai has arrived. Oh my, I've got an incarnated body now, so I can do all sorts of naughty, dirty things with Senpai. I can't wait, fufu," said a beautiful, troublemaking junior.

"BB, I want you to extract all the Hydra agents' data. Zola has it all. And kill him," I said with a serious face.

Seeing her Senpai's serious expression, she took the order seriously.

"Don't worry, Senpai, BB will do as you ask. Just promise me a date."

I nodded and took Morgan with me to the hidden door.

Suddenly, BB went to the computer and hacked it.

"How? How did you get into the computer?" Zola was shocked.

"Fufu, you disgusting pig. Let me show you the power of the world's strongest Final Villain kouhai AI, my Senpai said we can go for a date. I can't wait for it." BB said, her eyes turning red with evil smile. BB started to show her yandare side.

"No, no, get lost. Don't come near me. How is this possible? An octopus leg is wrapping around my body… No, NOOO! It's going in my ash…it's going deeper nonono...How is this possible? I can feel pain. I've transcended life—it's impossible! I beg you, sto—" An octopus leg went into his mouth. Zola started to face worst punishment no man should face.

BB had already hacked everything and took control of the Sentinels. Karna and Juggernaut had already destroyed Nimrod and joined Magneto to kill Sebastian.
