I Have No Reason to Stay

The loud, high-pitched noise makes everyone turn around at the same time. What a shock! It's Anthony, the last person Cali wants to see in the world. After his threat in the hospital, she felt lucky that she hadn't run into him. She seemed to have run out of luck tonight in various ways.

With an evil smile on his dirty face, Anthony struts around with his head held high. He is by himself and is going straight towards their table. It makes Cali sick just to look at him.

While she takes a breath and attempts to relax, she unintentionally meets Nik's stare. He looks at her carefully and with worry in his eyes. He starts to speak but stops short. Cali looks away from him for a moment. They will never be together again. Desperately wanting something that will never happen will only get her deeper into trouble.

Nik gives Anthony an angry look when he sits down next to him in the only open seat without being asked.
