James and Micheal arrived at Las Vegas a few hours later. The street was busy and buzzing as usual. James sat comfortable in his executive limo service with his sunglasses on while glancing through a Paris magazine.
"Boss, what time should I schedule the meeting?". Micheal asked as he tried to bring up a conversation.
"The company already has a scheduled time, we'll work with that".
"How about the payment pattern? By cheque or cash?".
James darted his gaze at Micheal in .
"Allow the company finance department to decide that". James replied as he shook his head.
"Sir, this is your destination". The driver announced.
"Thank you". James told him as he highlighted from the car and headed towards the hotel entrance while Micheal paid off the cab man.
He lingered at the spot, making sure that James had checked in before dialing a number.
"Hello, Mary". He called.
"Why are you calling me at this time?". A lady voiced out.
"Did you receive the message I sent". He asked rapidly.
"What message?". The lady asked curiously.
"Who's Anne?". Micheal asked immediately.
"Oh! That girl! You heard about her already…
"Can you please drop a hint on who she is. I don't have all day". Micheal interrupted her.
"She's Sophia's new nanny but I think she's more than that. Can you imagine that she went to the Hathaway mansion with the CEO. That's impossible right?".
"How long has she been present in that house?".
"Barely a week".
"What?". James exclaimed in shock. "Keep an eye on her, a very close watch, something is fishy here. I'm in Las Vegas now, I'll call you once I'm settled". He said hanging up the phone as he made his way into the hotel.
***At James Mansion***
"You dare cross my path huh? Throw out their filthy things this instant". Amanda instructs as she watches Mrs Rachel beg and Anne mute.
"Please Amanda, don't take my job away from me. I've served this house for fifteen years, please…..". Mrs Rachel begged
"And how's that problem huh? You caused this, you failed to carry out the little instruction I gave out and now you are begging? Oh no! That's not how it's done, you've got to leave". Amanda scoffed, cutting her short.
"Please Amanda, I have nowhere else to go. This job is all I have, it's my happiness' '. Mrs Rachel knelt before her, begging.
"Mrs Rachel, please don't do that. She's not worthy of your knees, please get up". Anne said as she helped Mrs Rachel to her feets.
"Wow, look who's speaking! Our genius". Amanda laughed. "Guards, get them in".
"Mother!" Annie yelled in shock as she ran towards her mother but got pushed away by an armed guard.
She moved her gaze towards the door when she saw Eun won being dragged in.
"Eun". She called. "Leave them alone, what have they done to you? Do whatever you want to do to me and leave them out of this. They've done nothing to you". Anne spoke in pain.
"No darling". Amanda laughed. "You're too little for my troubles so I decided to go extra miles, to add a touch, you know! So be my guest".
"Please, I beg you, leave my family out of this, it's me you have a problem with". Anee begged.
"Oh, so you could be this sober huh? And you've been playing a strong girl all this while? Anyways this is just the beginning, by the time I'm done, you'll clean the floor with your tongue. Carry on". She told the guard.
"No, no! Where are you taking them too?". Anne yelled as she tried to follow them.
"Make them feed the dogs". Amanda instructed.
"Amanda!". Anee thundered, leaving everyone astonished especially Amanda. "My family have done nothing to you and if you carry on with this, I'll call the authorities on you".
"Please, give her a microphone". Amanda let out a sinister laugh. "What authorities? Are you describing the ones I control, the ones I own? Please go ahead".

Mrs Rachel held Annie's hands, stopping her from speaking further. She was aware of what Amanda was capable of doing and none of Annie's nagging could change anything.
"Annie my child, please don't worry about us. We'll be fine". Mrs McCole spoke.
"Oh my God! What a mother and daughter moment, how emotional". Amanda mocked. "Please lock them up somewhere, we'll be having the best time tonight". She laughed heartily as she made her way to her room.
"No, please don't hurt them". Anee pleaded while Mrs Rachel kept holding her back.
"Listen to me, you can do anything right now, it's either she changes her mind or someone else comes for their rescue, Mr James or anyone from the Hathaway mansion".
Annie falls to her knees as she wipes in tears. She couldn't watch her mother go through that. Especially as Amanda was bent on causing her pains.

Those words kept ringing in Annie's head. The thought of calling James to inform him about the situation kept lingering but fear of his reaction resulted in a double mind.
Annie watched the clock tick till it became dark. She heard her heartbeat with speed. She stood up from where she curled herself immediately she heard Amanda room door clutter.
She heard footsteps approaching the mansion entrance as she blustered.
"Boys! It's time, get our entertainment ready". Amanda voiced out with excitement.
This time they let Annie walk behind them as she witnessed how her mother and friend were being dragged to the dog's compound.
"Now, let the fun begin". Amanda smiled as she blew a whistle.
Annie shut her eyes as she dialed James number as she activated the call on speaker phone with her shaky hands.
Amanda saw the phone with Annie and yelled in anger.
"Take that phone away from her right now ".
