It was just as I expected, everywhere was quiet, no news outlet was speaking about last night's incident, and everything would have blown past if I hadn't scrolled past Melanie's recent post. I wasn't exactly surprised, the only thing that had me bamboozled was the caption she had used.
"Slut girlfriend caught cheating with her ex."
"That bitch!" I cursed out before tossing my phone aside. It was minimal damage compared to what would have happened if the scandal had been printed in local magazines and newspapers. Melanie had a decent following on her social media, but I doubted it would be enough to cause any serious damage to me or Antonio's reputation.
"I think you should stay home today, there's no need for you to come to work if you don't feel like it." Michael suggested with a hand on my shoulder. His eyes were filled with concern and rage, and I could tell from one glance at his face that he had seen Melanie's post already.
