Oh No. Aubrey

Troy's promised week of allowing Jonah to mope ended up being more like three days. On Saturday, he couldn't stand it anymore and declared that his moping was officially over. 

It was probably for the best. Aside from forcing himself to work, he hadn't done anything but lie around uselessly as he drowned in his raging sea of thoughts. And the more he thought, the more he hated himself for ever daring to fall in love. 

They ended up taking a fifteen-mile bike ride and hitting a trendy bakery in the process. Afterward, they did a 1000-piece puzzle that had Troy ready to pull his hair out. He didn't have the patience for that sort of thing but had bought one on impulse to help distract Jonah. 

On Sunday, they went fishing after basketball and actually managed to catch enough to bring back to Aunt Mel so she could make dinner out of it. She had been rather impressed with the two of them.
