Sheila doubled over the lawn, clutching her stomach in pain. She ran as fast as she could, not minding the blood that trailed behind her. She knew it would be very easy for Smile to find her because of the trail she was leaving behind but she had no other choice. She had tried unsuccessfully to tie the cut on her arms with torn pieces of her blouse and seeing that blood was still flowing, she had to leave it like that and find the nearest hospital before she lost too much blood. The closest hospital was North of Manhattan and still about a mile or two away. She doubled her pace and picked up her phone to dial Charlotte's line again.
