Chavez cut the call and turned to face Charlotte. "I've done my magic. I bet you Ratzinger would be here in a couple of minutes.
Charlotte stared at her watch and frowned. "What if he doesn't come? Or what if he comes with someone else? Like a police officer or something."
"That is the last thing Pukki Ratzinger would do, I can assure you," Chavez smiled. "The Interpol has fucked him up and he owes them no loyalty anymore. If he even comes with bad intentions, he would want to deal with you himself."
"You heard what he said over the phone," Charlotte grunted. "He doesn't feel anything for me anymore. He doesn't care what happens with me anymore. He would not even mind selling me out to the police if they come around."
"You know nothing about us," Chavez laughed. "Ratzinger still loves you as much as he did before. He is just pained that you left him for Michael."
