Lauren POV

"She will be living with us" those hi word sounded like a bomb shell on my brain but at thesame time some parts of me wants her

Then I heard her protesting

"Thank you Madam I can't live with you I can live with Tahir and Angela

But mom could not hear it later in the day...

Sophia POV

I don't wantu live with the Collins family but when I heard that I will be going to school I don't have choice than to go.

I went to our house in the ghetto to pack my belongings but on getting there our house is gone its Mrs usha our neighbor that told me that when my mum leave the house she left the iron on a cloth 👕 which cause a fire outbreak now our only possession the house is gone. this is too much now I will have to go and live with the Collins family.

Later in the day Lauren drove with Mrs Collins to pick me up .

*AT THE COLLINS MANSION *

I was given a queen size bedroom, but no amount if queen size room can take away my pains and sadness I cried and cried but no cry can solve my problem soon I fell asleep

"Dlang clang dang clang dang clan clan dang"

The sound of the door bell . Interrupted my peaceful sleep then he came in the devil.

Author POV

Lauren was not himself since Sophia came in he just don't want to see her her image is like a tormention to him then he went to room

*leave my house" he said while throwing a bundle of money on her bed

💃I am not goona leave not until I fulfill the reason why I'mm here

🏃i said leave (he shouted)

They started their round if abuse for the night

Lauren went to his room angrily.

The next morning

After the usual pleasatries. Sophia has accepted the fact that she will have to live in this hell of mansion for some years. During breakfast Mrs Collins told Sophia that she will be going to school with lauren

What?? Lauren exclaimed

Mom :what happened

Lauren: can't she go to anoda school most she be with me?? He asked like a frustrated child

Sophia cuts in : yea madam lemme go to anoda school

"No no no don't call me madam call me mom I am also like a mother to you " Mrs Collins said

After the breakfast everyone went to thier various rooms the children will be going to school on Monday .

Mrs Collins and Sophia went to the morgue where Tiffany's body was kept they stayed there for some time then they later went to the hospital to meet Mr Collins who was still recuperating

Back at home

Sophia laid down in her room bored then she rememberd her pendant that cause all the trauma she is facing now

She went to Laurens room and met him at the balcony looking through the telescope Sophia used the opportunity to search his room but found nothing

"Tomboy what are you up to?? She heard the voice and turned it was Lauren

Thus they started chasing each other till they got tired and fell asleep on Lauren's bed
