CHAPTER 23 : The battle and The test. Part 2

Recap. The fight between baki and system reached a high point. Little daniel nightmare. Also with an Hidden man in the overseas. The system talked with rob once again and received a gift. Now we continue

Story starts here:

"Warm up is over now get ready for the real fight". The words of baki rang through out the whole arena. As the people who can barely see what is happening. Now hearing baki was warming up. Shocks them.

We zoom out the focus is now on the reaction on the baki verse characters. Each with their own unique reaction. tokigawa saying "He copied baki attacks, that's is not possible. Out of all the fighters in the ring there is never once like him. Even baki needed to see retsu attacks so multiple times to copy it". Hearing tokegawa.

doppo responds " The world is way bigger then a man can imagine. Out there are many people weaker them me. And a lot begin stronger then me".

With Retsu adding "The talent to copy a person fighting style to this degree. But the most important point is can his body hold on".

Katsumi begin the youngest of the group hearing the retsu last words says "What do you mean his body can hold on. Is their something wrong with his body".

katsumi question is answered by shibusawa who adds his own view " What retsu means is coping baki style to this degree is harmful to the young ones body. As we all got our own field of mastery in the fighting. If I want to punch like doppo I need to train my hands extremely hard which might help me punch like him. But with out any training. my fist will not reach even close to doppo fists".

Doppo wanting to make it more simple for his son/disciple explains with an example " In simple words you need to train your body to such degree. So that you can copy any fighting style. Without having to worry about draw backs".

Tokigawa hearing this all realizes something. As then his mouth widens with shock. Seeing such reaction katsumi hastily asks "What happened tokigawa san, Did you notice something".

Getting his emotions under, tokigawa responds to katsumi words " Do you all remember what the orge said at the starting of the fight". Hearing the words all people eyes widen in both shock and realization.

Words of the strongest creature how can they be easily forgotten. Reacling his words. How he called daniel perfection. They all focus on the fight. how baki was pushed back so much. That he needed to get serious.

While all this is happening. We see the reaction reaction of the strongest creature in the world is shocking. With him trying his hard to suppress his old habits of kicking a**. Letting baki and system duke it out. The man can clearly see, how baki style was copied. Resisting the urge to fight both baki and daniel at the same time to receive the challenge he wants.

While people we analyzing. The abilities and making assumptions of the limit of copy. All were unaware. With the progression of the fight will refresh their all views.

Baki who is now serious. With a speed faster then before rushed system. The system who was on the offensive is now forced into defending the onslaught of bone breaking attacks. With the speed baki is now leaving system nochoice but to defend.

Then baki seeing the opening lands a thunderous strike on the face of system. Refusing to back down system counters the strike with same attack. As now both are forced to take a step back. Without wasting any time both fighters pull back their fist to perform an over head strike. Having the advantage of the height system fist hits baki on the face.

Baki without refusing to back down grabs the fist which hit him. Trying to twist the arm of system to force him in the shoulder lock. System seeing this counters by trying to poke baki eyes. Which forces him to leave the arm, But delivering a kick on the cheek of system.

Both fighters taking step back to catch their breaths. With system using heat mode of the big body mocks baki saying " Well someone did not got the height genes of the family. Maybe you need to drink more milk".

Baki responds to this by speaking "Interesting. Coming form a guy who was knocked down and got back up. And is still trying to knock me down without any success". With the war of words begin over, Both fighters with a new light in their eyes rush each other.

The spectators enjoying the fight are oblivious to the fact that system is growing in fight. The experienced fighters can easily tell baki had the upper hand in experience and strength and skills the start of the fight. As the fight continued. The skill strength experience gap is slowly closing.

This fights clearly shows the talent of System using Big body begin on a level which many wants. As they can also tell baki is also improving slowly compared to system. But still improving. The slow improvement of baki is due to system begin low in strength.

With the baki main characters all thinking as both of them. As monsters with tokigawa doubting that daniel is also an hanma.

Baki also feeling the guy improving in front of him. He is also shocked. But is also fired up. Spitting a little blood form the mouth. Looking at both their conditions. Baki has a bruise on the cheek where he was hit. Looking the the condition of system using big body of daniel. Has many bruise. With little cuts made form the baki punches. And a little bleeding form the kick of baki.

Baki hair slowly starts to float up. System seeing this mocks him by saying " What, hey are you gonna transform in to a super hanma. With your hair floating up. I hope you also gain some height with it as well".

Through out the whole fight. Baki constantly hearing ridicule about his height. Have had enough. But instead of responding in words. He wants to respond in an action which will make sure, that system understand.

With him getting the perfect idea how he can do so. With baki saying " Have you ever been hit by an whip at the speed of sound". Confused and not realizing on time what baki meant.

He is hit on the back with an whip strike.

System pov: Pain. The pain felt like never before, The amount of pain could not be described in words. This amount of pain, even before begin reincarnated as a system. Has never felt pain. The pain could be compared to a bite of 100 executioners wasp. Will any one blame me for jumping around the whole arena. Screaming on the top of my lungs to ease the pain. Looking over at the bastard who did this. I can clearly see a smirk. With many signs of indicating that he will burst out laughing. Without much thinking enduring such pain alone feels wrong. With ability of heat mode the pain was slowly going away. Feeling of revenge or to return the favor came to system.

 slowly making my way near baki jumping and screaming. Which makes baki drop his guard. which will be baki current worst mistake.

One swift move. Without giving him a chance to react. With copy talent landing the same strike in the same place as mine, using every ounce of strength. Even going as far to add james lee Invisible attacks speed. To spread pain.

The reason for this begin. once a wise man said "The way to peace is pain, only by sharing and feeling the pain can you understand each other". Feel the pain baki.

POV ends..

The onlookers are both shocked and confused with 2 people jumping around the whole arena and rubbing the place where they were hit. Difference between both strike is little while baki watned to take revenge for begin called short soo many times. He didn't use full force of whip strike. Other wise taking alayer of skin off is a childs play for baki.

Looking at the guy mocking you now jumping around like a monkey on hard dr**s and screaming. Baki wanted to laugh. But his mentality of a fighter prevents him form laughing. But still a smirk never hurt anyone. Right. Right.

Not noticing the eyes of system and baki temporarily lets his guard down. As system made his way near baki coming to close for comfort. Like a snake wating for a mouse to be in his range before striking at lighting speeds to secure the kill. As then landing a whip strike on  baki in return. But the amount of force behind this whip strike is unreal.

The spectators see 2 men who were hitting each other with full force enough to turn their bones to dust. Screaming and jumping around. Scares them praying to be never hit with that attack.

With heat mode ability to numb and ignoring pain. System is the first to get his bearing and says " You pulled a fast one their. Short stack. Now tell me how does it feel to be hit by whip strike". With the area on his back burning due to the whip strike.

Baki also stops jumping and replies " I don't know what about you. How do you feel. I guess form hitting you so hard your brain is damaged".

If the fight before was a graceful dance with both fighters using every skill of martial arts. The fight what onlookers are seeing now. Is like 2 beasts wanting to tear each other. Grabing hair. Kicking punching scratching. Expect for bitting every street art is begin used. With fighters understanding, As baki who had upper hand in the fight can feel. That System using big body of Daniel. Is slowly getting upper hand.

Cause heat mode is unpredictable and is known for the most brutal tactics. As after a while System finally manages to land some clean blows which caused baki to get a bit defensive. As then seeing the chance grabbing his hair repeatedly punching him in the face. Smashing his face in the sand multiple times, As then system holds baki head in the sand to suffocate him. After a while of struggling baki. Slowly stops to move. Leaving baki head system stands up. Raising his leg above the head. Bringing it down with such force. As the kick sends shockwaves around the arena. As The sand blowing sand all over the place which blocks the view of the arena.

Retsu can not believe it. He is doubting his self. On how can such a person like daniel exist. No name in the fighting. Or any major news about him. He came out of thin air and challenged baki to a fight. As many of them believed that baki will easily defeat him. But none would have expected that, daniel will push baki to such lenghts. As with anticipation.

Many on lookers believing in baki defeat. Are waiting for the sand to clear out to look at the condition of baki.

While system using big daniel body is fighting baki. Somewhere with out many spectators. Or anyone to see the fight between james lee and daniel Park. With Daniel begin on the ground.

instead of an arena both are in yard of the school surrounded by many trees.

To know what had happened here we go back a few minutes

The both fighters are standing at a distance. James says "Try your best to entertain me. Show me how much have you learned overtime with me. don't disappoint me daniel". Little daniel does not respond to his words. With a fall of leaf indicating the start of the fight.

With missing any second daniel rushed to james. Going for a boxing jabs. James dodges all strike easily with his hands begin in his pocket.

Seeing boxing failed daniel now uses karate. Going for a staright punch. Which is also dodged. Then trying to catch james off guard with a question mark kick. But still failing. As then james says "Is that it, I had high expectations for you. I gave you so many chances to strike me. But now I am gonna start the offense. Prepare yourself".

Daniel is kicked in the gut. Knocking the air out of his lungs. As then kicking him in the face sending him flying. As james still has his hands in his pocket. Daniel feels he is hit by truck. As he struggles to get back on his feet. But fails to stand up again.

BGM starts playing. PLOT ARMOR ACTIVATED. INITATING FLASH BACK TO GET EXTRA BOOST IN STRENGTH AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

LIttle DANIEL POV : Flash back Daniel remembers how many times he was bullied. Remembering the times where logan lee and his lackeys beat him. Saying mean things about. But what could have he done.

He was weak stupid taking anger out on his mom. The hard working mom which raised him form a very young age. Facing hardships and peoples comments.

She could have given up on him along time ago but she still kept hope that someday the life will get easier. Transferring into new school thinking things will change. But it did not even before going to school he was beaten again. By none other then zack. When all hope seem lost.

The god gave him some pity. By having a system and a second body. System helped him gain confidence and a life. But even with all that what did system asked in return, For him to get better.

No money no gain no anything else. The system wanted him to become better then before. At first he doubted system. Cause who would not you sleep alone in a room wakeup in another body not knowing how it got their. Then having the said body rise up telling you to change. Would anyone with a sane mind agree.

Flashback ends.

With passing time. He saw the progress he made. Form begin fat and alone. To begin less fat and having friends. It's a different matter that many of those friends want him to cook.

But still it was a major improvement. Just when he thought everything was going good. The zeus thing happened. Even now he thinks if it was the little body could he have stopped zeus. Would he succeeded in saving mira. The question kept him awake for many nights. And he got the answer was NO.

So using the 2 rewards of the system. He got a perfect body , By accident Which helped him in losing the weight. And the teacher reward which got him james lee to teach him. Training hard for a month learning many things form james. And now when he wants to see what he learned. He got defeated in 2 kicks. Making little daniel feel like all the effort he put in is useless. As now trying to get up.

He feels like giving up is the best choice for a loser like himself.

Someone over looking seeing his conditions takes a little pity.The time was stopped as the begin who was looking over him.

Tweaked with the laws of space sending little daniel to a place where he can use his talent to the fullest.

He then feels a sudden shift. From a desolate area. Where he was alone with james he is now transferred to a place with many people.

Hearing their words. He realizes he is not in Korea as they are speaking japanease. And he understands it due to the training with james. Also included langues with many other little things.

He hears some person saying "Hey who do you think will win. Daniel park or baki hanma".

Not understanding why they know his name.

He looks around woth his gaze stopping, at the certain man. Or was that thing really a man. He can feel the man strength. Even if he is so far away. His body telling him to run.

But he notice where the begin was staring. And follows his gaze to the center of the place he sees.

Looking at the center seeing the big body fighting the person named baki. Due the affect of the perfect body and training with james.

His hearing and senses are much sharper then any common adult. Hearing people and processing all the information.

He understands that system is fighting the man who is the winner of the arena for many years. Seeing them both fight daniel understood one thing.

He does not know how or who sent him here. But the reason for sending him here. Is simple remembering the talk with james "Your talent to copy is envious. The moves which took me a long time to perfect. You just copied it by looking at it once. Remember many people would give their whole families to get a talent like yours when ever you see a fight your body will automatically copy. don't hesitate follow all their moves burn them in to your small brain, let your talent go. Your body , it will know what to do. and Who knows what kind of result will it produce".

Daniel using all the mental and physical strength. Watches the fight with one single intent to copy them, As looking at each strike dodge sprint kick grapple. He understands one thing. The fight he is seeing right know is not an ordinary fight.

Even so far away he can feel the strength of them. The last strike seeing he feels that system has won, wanting to watch more he feels another sudden shift. As he is back to the old place where he was with james.

Pov ends :

Daniel feeling the pain in the gut where the kick was struck. he can feel that one kick might have cracked a rib. With his mind thinking was it real what he saw or was his brain showing random things.

james with his hands in his pocket. It feels like he is going for a walk in the park. Looks at Daniel who was on the ground. Seeing him day dreaming.

James breaks him out of his stupor by saying " Daniel I feel disappointed in you. I taught you many things. Yet you still could not defend 2 kicks. It makes me feel like I might have chosen the wrong student to teach. If you only have this much resolve give up and go somewhere far away".

Hearing james words a new fire is ignited inside the daniel replies " My resovle is enough. What I am lacking. I just realized now. The experience of a true fight". Daniel both eyes starts to glow one with red and one with black aura.

James feeling the change in the aura takes his hands out of his pocket and says " Hey hey, which monsters did you copied and when".

behind little daniel right side big daniel stands and on the left side baki stands. Daniel then says " I was weak before but now I have it a trump card to win".

Story ends here:

will little daniel be able to the fight aginst james lee with the stando power da, find out inthe next chapter of lookism as a system for daniel.

Sorry for just begin a ghost. I was busy with some personal things. And the laptop on which i was used to write was also broke. Which made me a lot lazy and forget about this story.
