MARRIED

It was just like yesterday that I realized my love for Abhishek and tomorrow I am getting married to him. I was sitting in Krish's room in front of his picture. Tears rolled down my eyes uncontrollably.

"I am getting married tomorrow Krish, you know what I have always felt safe and sound around Abhishek, I guess I will be very happy in my future just the way you wanted me to. I am happy that I am marrying the man I love. I wish you were here by my side sharing this happiness with me. I miss you, Krish."

I am so happy that I am getting married to Abhishek the only special man in my life and I am also missing Krish not as my late lover but as my flatmate, my best friend who always wished for my well-being. I spent some time in his room before walking to the living room as I hear my mobile phone ringing.

"Hello darling", Abhishek as soon as I picked up his call

"Hello", I whispered, okay even I don't know for what sake was I whispering

"Why are you whispering?"

"Simply and why are you awake still?"

"I am so excited about tomorrow so unable to sleep. By the way, why were you in Krish's room?"

"How do you know?"

"I saw the lights on in his room"

"I was feeling nervous so I was in his room"

"Do you miss him?"

"Hmm-mm"

"Should I come over?"

"No need I am fine now"

"I want to tell you something "

"Tell"

"Megha, if loving me is wrong, then you need not have to be right"

"Geez! Abhishek it is so cheesy"

"Feeling better"

"A lot"

"Cool"

"We are getting married tomorrow, I am so damn excited "

"I know, you had so many visits to spa, parlor, salon, etc for your self-grooming and how much did shop and you don't want to hold a grand wedding but a simple register marriage"

"First of all, we love each other so it doesn't matter what kind of marriage we have. Secondly, I can marry only once in this life so I need to look beautiful while capturing the memory"

"But I wanted something grand", he murmured

"Abhi you know we still have time so what about calling off our wedding because you don't like this right"

"No, not at all I love this plan. I guess it is time to sleep. A good night sleep well"

"Good night sweet dreams", I said hanging up.

After speaking to him I felt light, with a smile plastered on my face I go to bed.

I wake up to the sound of the alarm ringing and turn it off. I drape my beautiful red saree after taking shower. I walked out to the living room after setting my hair and make-up. Dad was already there waiting for me.

"You look so gorgeous, I'm sure guy is gonna drool", dad complimented me.

"That's for sure", I said with a chuckle, and then we drove off to the registered office.

At last, it is my marriage day today we are going to have a simple registered marriage. As soon as I get out of the car my eyes automatically get fixed on my soon-to-be husband, he looked damn nervous and at the same time very handsome in his suit. He soon sets his eyes on me and I walked closer without looking anywhere other than him. The only people present were dad and a few of our friends. We had a really quick marriage. Finally, now I'm Mrs. Abhishek Malhotra we happily click pictures with everyone, Riya and Rachel give me a quick hug and Abhishek rolled his eyes showing his possessiveness towards his wife, and then Riya mocked, "I thought I would get married before you. You are super fast madam."

"What can I do, if you and Rachael postpone your marriage?" I asked.

"It is all because of this idiot here", she said pointing at her boyfriend.

After reaching home we changed into comfortable clothes and started shifting Abhishek's stuff to my house. Yes, he is moving into my house because I can't leave this home I love this place so much which is filled with a lot of my happy and sad memories.

As we started arranging the things he used to purposefully brush his fingers against me. I chuckle inside at this cute gesture of him. It was already night when we had finished unpacking and arranging everything. We ordered dinner and ate it in silence. I had no idea of sleeping tonight, even after such a tiring day I am still sleepless. I sat on my couch put on some movie and started watching, suddenly I felt some familiar warmness, I turned around and saw Abhishek sitting next to me and pulling me into his embrace. We spent time watching a movie in each other embrace and I don't when did I drift off to sleep.
