32 Chapter 32 - The Supply Stash

Once my group was out of sight, I cut loose and started massacring all of the dead I could see. I needed points, and I needed them ASAP. This base gave me the perfect opportunity to start spooling out some of my supplies in my inventory. I was looking forward to getting some much need things out to everyone, and I was especially looking forward to the executive suite in a bunker beneath the base. It wasn't public knowledge, but all US military bases had a bunker built beneath them for the President and other important people to shield them from most weapons. Usually you had to have a key to access one, but I just happened to make one for myself with the help of my friend from South Korea.

'I can finally sleep in a real fucking bed, and I can give everyone a proper evening with me. It will take time to modify a vessel to our needs so I have time.', I thought punching the head of a Charger through it's own ass.

Pulling out the chainsaw from storage, I started it up and laughed as I cut the undead to pieces with swipes from the chainsaw. While I was making a mess of the battlefield, the group had arrived safely at the docks. The moment the ship was tied off, everyone hurriedly got off the ship and moved the defense equipment onboard towards the walls. Taking fencing material and other barrier materials to where repairs were needed, the maintenance teams moved with a passion to get things up. Watching everyone scramble around like ants, the people living in the base came out to try and help, but they were far too weak from hunger.

Carrying medical equipment into the heart of the base, the Black Label team got a tent up in minutes and quickly started making sure none of people from the base were bitten, scratched, or were carrying other diseases. While the bulk of their group focused on that, the rest of people did a complete sweep of the base looking for any potential weak points or anyone hiding from the group. Calling things out as they saw them, Kyoko kept a running list of repairs that needed completed.

"You are all very quick.", the base group leader said, "Sorry we can't offer you help at the moment."

"It's fine, you are in no condition to be doing heavy lifting.", Shizuka stated checking her temperature, "I need 500mg of Vitamin C over here please."

"Am I okay?", she asked.

"You are showing early signs of Scurvy, the injection will help fix you up.", Shizuka assured her, "After that we will start you on a better diet with the supplies we have. It may be a week or two before you are completely normal again."

"Where is the man I spoke to on the radio?", she inquired, "I wanted to thank him for coming here, and-"

"Who do you think is fighting the undead out there?", Shizuka pointed out hearing the gunfire and engine noise from outside the base.

"You mean he is fighting alone!?", she shrieked, "That's suicide!!"

"Don't worry, Victor will be fine.", Shizuka told her, "He is the toughest person I know, and he is more than strong enough to kick those big meanies in the butt!!"

"Shizuka, please don't ever change.", Yuko laughed, "You are a breath of fresh air in this crazy world."

"Huh?", Shizuka asked with confusion.

"Haha, she is saying your humor is welcome.", Rika teased with a smile, "You guys have beds here, right?"

"They aren't the most comfortable, but yes we do.", she answered.

"Hehe, I call dibs!", Rika said setting the case of medicine down, "I also-"

"Now isn't the time for that.", Kiriko sighed.

"Excuse me, some of us have been waiting patiently.", Rika insisted.

"Patiently?", Kiriko remarked, "Shall I go down the list of things you have been doing?"

"What are they talking about?", the base leader asked.

"Hehe it's a personal matter.", Shizuka giggled.

Closing and patching the few holes they could find, the teams proceeded to carry the heavy machine guns to where they would have normally been stationed. As they got up to their posts, they watched me finish off the remaining zombies with my shotgun. Turning around to look at them, I gave them a thumbs up signifying that the fighting was over with. The few remaining Ridden had retreated most likely due to their survival instinct kicking in. Since the worms couldn't infect me, and I was slaughtering them I couldn't necessarily blame them for running.

"He does quick work, but certainly leaves a mess.", Maya laughed.

"More like carnage.", Mitsuomi remarked.

Walking back to the base, Sayo was the first to greet me. Pulling off my helmet off when I saw her, she ran over and gave me a big kiss on the lips with a smile on her face. Both her normal and monster selves were happy to see me unscathed, and smelling like death. Promising her to give her plenty of affection soon, I said we needed to see what the situation was here and then get into the base buildings. Agreeing to wait, she said I wouldn't be taking a night shift watch tonight. Chuckling I smacked her on the butt, and told her she better pray she can walk tomorrow which made her laugh.

Meeting with the base leader once I was washed off, she gave me a shocked look. She didn't expect someone as young as me to be leading the group, but she did admit I looked reliable. Shaking hands with her, she explained that they were a group from a nearby city. They had come here seeking help from the US military, but what they found was an empty base. By the time they realized they were alone here, it was too late to run anywhere else.

"We have been stuck here since Day 1. All of us watched as things outside got worse and worse.", she told me as choked up, "My brother lead a group out a few days ago to find food, but...we haven't seen anything from them. I...I have accepted that he isn't coming back to me."

"I am sorry for your loss, all you are incredibly brave for holding out so long.", I tried to cheer her up.

"As I told you on the radio, the base building are locked and nothing we have done has been able to open them.", she said.

"I know, they are built that way to dissuade people from breaking in. The windows are bullet resistant, all entry points are reinforced against most methods of silent entry.", I chuckled, "I have a key card to get in though so it's not a problem."

"A key card?", Arashi inquired.

"A perk of being an Ambassador's child, I have a key card that will get me into military bases. I should be able to get us in without any problem.", I stated walking to the warehouse door.

The windows on the building were blacked out so dumping just a fraction of what I had in my inventory wasn't an issue. Filling the warehouse space, as the military left not even a crumb behind, I swiped my badge and opened the door. Rolling up the garage door everyone was amazed by what was inside. Seeing the cases of emergency rations, ammo, weapons, vehicles, water purification products, and much more everyone started leaping around for joy.

Opening up the other buildings so people could move into the barracks and medical areas, everyone was relieved they could have their own bed now. While people were inventorying everything, I went to the commander's office where the access to the bunker was. The women were already thinking of putting beds in there when they noticed me swiping a picture. Hearing the hatch to the bunker open under the commander's desk, they ran over to look. Informing them what I was doing, they gave me a big smirk.

"I assume their is a lot of stuff down there?", Yuko asked.

"Should be fully stocked, and have a very large bed.", I told them, "Not to mention a nice bath-"

Before I could finish all of them were running down the stairwell to the bunker. Apparently the thought of having a real bath again with an actual bathtub made them very happy. Walking down to the bunker, I found them already looking for what items were here. Finding them looking at the food, teas, and of course the bath bombs I could only smirk as I saw them enjoying themselves for the first time in a while. With everything going on in the world, it was easy to forget how simple things could make you happy.

"Something wrong?", Sayo said eating a chocolate bar.

"No, all of you take a break and relax. I am going to do some work up top. There is a communication room down here, if you need something go there and radio up to me.", I said.

"Take your time.", Yuriko said dropping a lavender bath bomb in the tub, "We will happily take you up on that offer."

Walking out to survey the area, Renka and Maya tagged along with me since everything was offloaded now. Supervising what I did and how I did it, I asked them why they were following me. Stating they wanted to contribute some to group in more than just a fighting capacity, they hoped to pick up some skills from watching me. Nodding my head, I started working on reinforcing several places around the walls that were showing early signs of failing. Watching me weld, lay concrete, and reinforce the main doors they inquired how I learned to do all of this stuff.

Telling them about my background, they were impressed with what I had under my belt already. Chuckling I said that there was not much else to do during those days so it was fine. Once I was satisfied with the defensive barrier, I started working on repairing the outer wall cameras. Before leaving the military had cut the wires to the cameras so I had to splice them back together.

"So how did you guys usually do night watch?", Renka asked.

"Several people watched the cameras in three hours shifts. The base has a security room that will serve to be the night watch station. Having people man the walls exposes everyone to undue danger so we will stick with the cameras.", I stated, "Did they mention if they cut the alarms around the base?"

"Didn't ask.", they admitted.

Walking over to the former leadership, I asked about the alarms. Telling me they had cut the alarms after tripping one on accident, she assured me they cut the wires and shoved grass in the speakers in case the wire wasn't enough. Thanking her, I decided to go down and look at our options for boats to leave Japan. Our options weren't all that good as we had a light cruiser, a battleship, and submarine. I had really hoped an aircraft carrier would have been left behind in a disabled state, but my luck wasn't that good.

'This is going tough...we will have plenty of room for everyone, but that only one problem solved. The Battleship is nuclear powered so it will do what we need, and the array of weapons will be invaluable for our defenses. My only problem with it is there isn't a lot of deck space to grow food.', I thought.

"Something the matter?", Renka asked, "Seems pretty straightforward which one will serve our needs."

"I am thinking of long term though, not a lot of places to grow crops.", I said.

"That's true, we won't find much resources aside from fish on the open ocean.", Maya agreed.

"I am worried about Vitamin C intake too.", I said, "I don't want people getting Scurvy, that's a terrible way to die."

"I understand, could we maybe find supplements for that?", Maya inquired.

"We can look around, but it could be at least two months on the open ocean.", I sighed, "Exploring the other bases is a necessity though, I agree."

"We going with you?", Renka asked wanting to get out and fight.

"Uh no...your dad probably doesn't want you out there with those things.", I said.

"Nah, that old man doesn't care. He went off and and abandoned his family.", Renka said trying to play it off like she was a fragile girl.

"He is still your father whether you like it or not.", I sighed, "Believe me, I hate my father more than you do yours. He's in the middle of all this shit, and I was expendable."

"Yeah when you put it that way...yeah you had it worse.", she said, "Still though, I want to go out there too!! You make it look so easy!!!"

"I am not a normal human, I am a modified human being. Feats that I do can't always be replicated by normal people. If you tried a fraction of what I do, you'd be dead immediately.", I told her.

"Like what?", she complained.

"They can't bite me, my skin is too hard for them not even a sword or dagger can cut me.", I stated, "Not only that, I doubt Hayato could injure me with his strongest blow."

"I bet I can injure you.", Renka proclaimed, "If I do, you have to let me join your team."

"You realize that my team is made up of my lovers, right?", I sighed, "You'd be in a lot of awkward conversations, and situations."

"Can't be anymore awkward than having every woman at the dojo check everywhere in the bathroom for your father.", she laughed.

"And what exactly do I get if you can't?", I questioned.

"Hell if I know, what do you want?", she remarked.

"Hmm...", I thought for a moment, "I got it, if you lose your on one of the night watch teams for a month."

"Okay, I can live with that.", she agreed, "You got yourself a deal!"

Shaking hands with her, she immediately tried to sucker punch me only to feel her hand crunch under the impact. Shaking her hand in pain, she complained that I had a thick head. Holding in a snicker, Maya seemed to know I wanted to laugh. Watching her shake her head I snickered at her reaction before boarding the ship.

Finding everything in working condition, I was suspicious of something being rigged to fail on the ship. Using my system to detect any issues with the ship, I found that the boiler system was setup to fail when the ship drew over 30% of its maximum power. The cooling system wasn't filled up completely so the system would have run dry, and caused it to overheat then explode. Topping the coolant off, I did a once over of everything for their comfort. Once that was completed, I was going to start figuring out the sleeping arrangements but heard my lovers calling me of the radio.

"Sounds like you are being summoned.", Maya stated.

"Yep, they are probably done with the bubble bath.", I chuckled.

"Bubble bath?", Renka asked, "Where did they-"

"Privilege of being a VIP, haha.", I said, "There is a VIP suite on the base, and they are down there relaxing. You both should take the opportunity to relax and rest up now as well. After the ass kicking the dead had, I doubt we will see any of them till night anyways."

"You are pretty relaxed for it being the end of the world.", Renka remarked.

"It may be the end of the world, but you should live everyday to the fullest!", I told her.

"If you say so.", she said, "Go do whatever they want, we are still training tonight?"

Telling her we were, I hurried off to find out what was wrong. Going down into the bunker, I found several bottles of wine rolling around on the ground. Finding the women drunk, and having a pillow fight I couldn't help but smirk. Watching them smack each other around wearing their pajamas was quite pleasing to the eyes, but I couldn't have them destroying the place.

"Ladies!", I said loud enough to get their attention, "You rang?"

"Yes!! You needed to come down here, and spend time with us!", Saya shouted a picture of a former president.

"Saya...I am over here...", I sighed.

"Don't lecture me, I am a freaking genius! I think I can tell you from a painting!!", Saya shouted poking the picture, "You...you owe all of us plenty of private time. We have been stuck on a boat for two weeks, and it was terrible."

"I know, and I am sorry that it took so long.", I said walking over and picking her up.

"You know how shitty it was on that boat?", Rei complained, "It was rocking side to side all the time without any stopping it!!"

"I am know, being out on the sea isn't for everyone.", I admitted, "You all didn't get sea sick so that is plus."

Getting them on the bed, I could tell they were really too exhausted right now for any sexual activities. Right now it was more important to give them some comfort, and have bonding time. Tomorrow was always another day to give them sexual pleasures. Flipping them on their stomachs, I gave them massages to help them relieve pent up stress. By the time I was done they were passed out and in a deep slumber. The Tempur-Pedic bed worked wonders for them, and was helping them get some much needed sleep. Spending the last few hours of daylight snuggling with them, I went up at sunset to train with those that wanted too.

Walking up into camp, I found the Ryōzanpaku and main group of Todo Academy waiting for me. Asking me if I had fun, I could see Renka was trying to push my buttons to get an opening. Telling her that I gave them a massage before they fell asleep, I said that good things come to those that wait.

"Yeah yeah, are we going to train??", she said a bit frustrated that I didn't take the bait.

"Of course.", I said deciding to try out using the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist stance, 'Let's see if I can unlock the martial art Garou made. I hope the Ryōzanpaku can increase my knowledge even more!'

Deciding to test the waters first, Souichiro ran at me using little to no martials...relying solely on his street fighting knowledge, I got a good idea of where he was in his progression. He hadn't yet to really get into Maya's training so he was still a diamond in the rough with his skills. Mimicking Bomb's hand movements, and adding Bang's styles into the mix Souichiro took the first hit head on. Minimizing the impact as much as I could, I felt several of his ribs crack under the blow as he flew backwards.

"<Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist - Rank 1> acquired.", the system said.

'Hot damn, I love this fucking system.', I thought.

"Another martial style...interesting.", Kensei said.

"Got anything else to show?", Akisame inquired.

"Of course, let's begin!", I replied with a smile deciding to push it for the School of the Undefeated of the East.

If I was going to make my own fusion of bullshit anime martial arts, I was going to make this fun and leave Umbrella Corps in scrambling to counter me.

"I...I am going to take five.", Souichiro wheezed, "You guys...go on ahead..."
