116. confessions

Harry started attending classes with his friends except for Potions. Many instantly realised how much of a fraud Lockhart was but the man still had brain-dead female fans fawning over him.

Harry himself became an even greater source of attraction as somehow he was getting subtle hints, shy confessions and bold flirting from the majority of female population much to the chagrin of Hermione and others.

He even saw Sue and Padma giving stink eye to Cho who was constantly making doe eyes at him. Some bold older year girls went as far as sending him their secret photos and inviting him to some abandoned classroom. Hermione and Daphne made it their routine to check all his food and drinks because of all the Amortentia mixed things he was getting. But Harry didn't directly decline or discouraged anyone and kept all of them hanging as he knew that they could prove to be useful someday and some girls can be dangerous after getting rejected.

He also didn't stop them because he didn't want anyone to target his girls specially as that would truly be the worst situation. He found that while Ginny was starstruck, she could be a potential spy for him. She was also not clingy to him and even tried befriending his girls after seeing him care about them.

All of this and his advancing closeness with the girls promoted Harry to hold a meeting with all his girls.

" Harry, you called us?" Daphne asked as she and Hermione entered his dorm room and kissed him first before looking at Jessica and Nymphadora curiously.

" Hmm. Let Penny come then we will talk." Harry might have said it in a calm tone but all of them detected the hidden seriousness and nervousness in his eyes.

Soon Penelope also came inside and looked around seeing everyone's serious face. " What happened?" She asked as she went to Harry and kissed him before taking a seat next to Hermione.

Harry waved his hand and enveloped the room in a space bubble before looking at the five girls. He took a deep breath and prepared himself for the difficult conversation he was going to have with them.

" Thank you for coming here leaving everything aside. I called you five here to talk about some very important things because of our growing closeness." The five of them tensed wondering what Harry was going to say.

" Recently, we have started feeling more intimate with each other. I had actually never thought that the five of you would be willing to accomodate my relationship with each other and I have been delaying thinking and talking about it seriously with you five.

Truth be told, I feel like all of you deserve better. Sharing your partner with someone else is not an easy thing and I personally would never be able to accept it. I really like all of you, I'm very possessive for each of you and I actually want all of you but I don't know if I actually love you. I have never loved anyone before and I don't know what love actually feels like.

I don't want to hide anything from any of you. I feel like I'm a hypocrite of highest degree when I say this but I'm not sure if you five will be only ones I will ever like just like I'm not sure what I feel about Amelia except for lust. It's very confusing and frustrating for me too when I know I might need to use my charms and sex to get some works done easily.

Trust me when I say this that I'm actually very afraid of your reactions after hearing all of this but I don't want to hide anything if from any of you. It will hurt me if you leave me or decide to stop everything involving me but I care too much for you girls to keep hurting you.

Harry didn't know how he finished speaking all that. He had to employ his Occlumency shields in full force to keep himself composed. He had never really liked or cared for anyone that much and also didn't know how to deal with his situation but he knew one thing - it is better to be honest and truthful than build a relationship on lies, deceit and uncertainty.

All his past lives had been spent fighting adversity and he craved for love, care and attention. He had seen and experienced things that nobody would want to ever imagine and he wanted to live a life free from lies and binding put by the society. He had developed his own set of moral code and conduct and while he leaned towards good, he would not follow the society's definition of good and right. If it means that he was destined to be alone, he would. He atleast knew that Lily would never abandon him and he wanted to also get the confirmation whether the girls are actually going to be with him after knowing everything or not.

Harry was brought of of his musings and nervous thoughts by a warm hug. He looked up only to see Jessica standing in front of him hugging him possessively with pure love in her eyes. " No matter what you do, how many women you have, I'll forever be with you. Even if you decide to become the worst kind of dark lord, I'll also become a dark witch by your side. I'm forever your's Harry.

You won me when you helped me and included me in your close circle, when you told me that you want me to be capable enough to deal with the world on my own, when you invited me to your house and accepted me as your family.

You say you don't know what love is while you have given me so much love. If you did it just out of care and likeness, then I will really be the most lucky person if you truly start loving me someday." Jessica said her eyes wet because of all the emotions. She placed her hand on his cheeks, caressing them she kissed his lips lightly," You may not be sure about yourself but I'm sure Harry. I'm sure that I love you a lot.. " Harry couldn't help but embrace her affectionately.
