The Tom and Jerry Show

You know, I love magic. It makes life so much more interesting and convenient. I mean, you could travel hundreds of miles in just a second, and not even feel anything.

Anyways, currently I am under a disillusionment charm, just outside a pub known as Leaky Cauldron. This pub was the only official entrance to the Diagon Alley. See how I used the word official ? Well, that's because there are other entrances as well, which the dark wizards use to smuggle the goods. You might think that, if even I know about those entrances, then the aurors must know for sure. Well, you would be right about that, but you see, the aurors can't really close these entrances, since they themselves sometimes use them to deal with criminals in some not so legal ways.

In any case, today I am not here to do anything illegal, so I am good to go with the official entrance. Entering the small pub, I am immediately hit with the smell of alcohol and tobacco. The inside of the pub is almost empty, since it's quite early. Noticing that instead of Tom, there was another barkeep, I patiently waited for him, since I knew that his shift would be starting soon.

I didn't have to wait for more than five minutes, before a door behind the barkeep opened and Tom came out of it. Both of them quickly exchanged greetings, before Tom took the unfamiliar barkeeps place, and started polishing a glass.

Seeing that both of us were basically alone, since everybody else was either passed out or sleeping, I quickly removed the disillusionment charm from my body. But, as I was sitting right in front of him on a stool, me appearing in front of him caused him to be startled, which made him drop the glass he was polishing.

"Ya fuckin' House elf. Can't ya for once appear here normally?" Tom while whispering loudly, took out his wand and quickly repaired the glass that had been shattered on the ground.

"Now, where's the fun in that? And besides, it's basically a tradition for Jerry to make life hell for Tom." I said with a shit eating grin on my face.

"Hah... I can never understand what's goin' on in that head of yours. What are ya doin' he're Jerry?" With a sigh, he asked and started to once again polish the clean glass with a slightly dirty cloth.

"Well, I am here to pick up my belongings. And your accent is really cute, by the way." I commented, knowing that it would only piss him off.

"Shut up. I don't have any accent. And ya are the weird one here. No house elf talks like that. And what are you doing here at this time anyway? Wouldn't your master be angry at ya?" He said while, continuing to rub the cloth on the now slightly dirty glass.

"Aww... Are you sure you aren't just jealous of my beautiful voice?" I answered in a squeaky tone that would make children cry, just from hearing it. But still, the smile on my face couldn't stretch any further.

"Are ya kiddin' me, ya dumb bastard. Have you ever heard your voice. It sounds like a banshee had a child with a fuckin' Mandrake. And ya didn't answer my question." Currently, Tom's face was red with slight anger and embarrassment. I wanted to tease him further, but decided to answer his questions first.

"Well Tommy, to answer your question, I don't have any master now. I am free. And, is it a barkeep thing to polish a clean glass with a dirty cloth?" I wasn't even messing with him right now, since I was quite curious, having seen Aberforth do the same.

"What?... Wait, no.... What?" Tom's brain seems to have crashed, since he couldn't figure out what to say.

"Ya mean to tell me your master is dead ?" After waiting for a few seconds he replied.

"Yep, got himself killed by some people, that dumb idiot." I answered his question simply.

"So, are ya he're to find a new master?" Wow, looks like he really doesn't know me that well.

"Hell no. I would rather die than serve under another master." I replied in a somewhat loud voice.

"Hah, I thought so. So, what are ya gonna do now?" He really liked to ask questions, didn't he.

"Well, I am first going to pick up my belongings, and then, I am going to figure out what to do next." Now, I was starting to get bored. I came here to pick up my things and tease the hell out of Tom, but instead I was being questioned here.

"I see, are ya gonna pickup your pet as well?" What is this, a question and answer session in a muggle school?

"Yes, Jerry be going to do that now." I replied blandly and jumped over the bar.

"Haah, good riddance." Oh, I almost forgot that Tom was afraid of Butch. Honestly speaking, I could have left Butch under the care of Newt, but I decided against it after learning that Tom was scared of Butch.

I opened the door from which Tom emerged. Inside there was a hallway, connecting to three other doors. I went to the last door and opened it. The door led me to a backyard, where there was a single tree standing tall. On the right side of the tree, there was a pole ( whose use I still don't know ), and tied to this pole was a Jack Russell Terrier. What was surprising though, was that this seemingly normal dog seemed to have two tails instead of one. This was a magical creature known as Crup. Crups are a fiercely loyal species of magical dogs, but are also fiercely aggressive towards muggles and squibs.

Seeing me coming towards him, the dog, whose name was Butch, immediately started waging his tails left and right.

"Aww... Look at you Butch, you have grown so much. Yes, I missed you too. Here, Jerry bought a few treats for you." After petting him for a bit and giving him his treat, which he ate in a few seconds, I put him to sleep.

Standing up I went back inside the hallway and opened the door on the left side of me. This door opened up to a small storage room which was half filled. I immediately took a backpack, and started stuffing all the things inside. Everything in this storeroom was owned by me, and almost all of the things were materials, essential for the rituals I had planned.

It was quite tough to stuff all the materials inside the bag, because of my strength being that of a ten year old child. Of course the size and weight of some of the materials didn't help much. I couldn't even use magic here, since some of the materials might spoil because of the use of magic. It took me almost half an hour, to pack everything in my extended backpack. After packing everything, I quickly picked up Butch, and returned home shortly afterwards.
