Is it ROB or naw?

"My child, please do awaken" a boisterous yet unisex voice echoed in Angela's mind jolting her into consciousness.

"Who the fucks there! I'll kill any sonofa-" going wide eyed, the vulgarity ebbing in her throat died when she noticed she wasn't at home in bed like she was supposed to be.

Instead she was encased by an eerily monotone combination of white clouds and mist, she herself was situated on a square marble platform that she couldn't see the bottom of even after peering her head over it's freaky luminescent stone ledge of strange glyphs.

'I... I have to still be sleeping, this place doesn't make any sense and I'm the only one here' shaking all over she crawled back to the center where she had awakened and curled up in the fetal position and closed her eyes hoping it could bring her home.

"Well that's rude, I spoke mere moments ago." A grandeliquent voice boomed in Angela's mind yet again, though this time her eyes were pried open quicker.

"Who's there! Show yourself you motherf*cker! I have boyfriends in the police force that will mess your life up permanently!" Already standing and huffing in anxiety and anger she proceeded to turn three hundred and sixty degrees multiple times in the hopes of noticing any disturbance in the cloud coverage.

"Man their right, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, your utterly hysterical." The voice took on a mocking tone, a tone Angela wasn't happy to hear.

"Listen here you dickless poser, I don't know who you are but your going to be seeing a lot more of the 'hysterical' me if you don't explain where the hell I am and why you've taken me from my home!" Angela continued pacing around the platform, surveying the surrounding cumulonimbus and unpenetrable fog in the hope of finding a connecting platform with which to escape to.

"Hmmph, rather unpleasant language don't you think? Well... whatever we have to move on at some point...." Slowly as the mysterious voice composed of both a high and low pitch tapered off, grand changes rippled through Angela's surroundings.

The floating water droplets and ice crystals began to quitely converge into a vortex that was designated opposite to her on the platform, the mist and clouds rushed towards this place like water down a drain.

The vortex itself began to take on a human silhouette, that of a young child, this supernatural spectacle and accompanying detail would've been more cause for concern with all these concurrent strange events but what truly captured Angela's attention at this moment was what lay beyond the obscuring vapors.

What was now past the confines of her stone platform was pure emptiness, a darkness so suffocating Angela could no longer catch her breathe. With unbridled fear at the forefront of her mind she didn't even bother questioning where all the air supplying her previous nonchalant breathing was coming from. Her heart raced in her chest and after taking just a single step backwards away from this great nothingness and silence that felt like it would consume her if she let down her guard, she began falling from an onset sense of nausea and dizziness. Now on her back, the only sensation Angela could feel were the muscles in her body going tense and refusing the briefest of commands for movement. The sensation or lack thereof when losing control of her body snapped Angela back into bitch mode as she suddenly began screaming at the void above, using the strength in her core she pulled her torso upwards and demanded in her mind for her hands to do the same. Slapping herself in the face with both open palms her breathing resumed with gusto as she inhaled sweet oxygen rapidly, her heart was still beating a mile a minute but... she could think now. Habitually resting her head against the platform she closed her eyes and began to get her breathing under control before her heart jumps out of her chest, trying her best to ignore the spine tingling fear that'll present itself when she opens her eyes again.

As she was about to slip into dreamland from such sensory overload or deprivation, distinction or not. One sound spooked her into using her sense of sight so soon while scrambling to her feet.

Slightly peeved at the sound rather than the use of the slow clap Angela's eyes scanned the area she heard the sound originate. What she found however was a kid in pristine white and blue robes with the images of clouds fluidly moving at their usual pace yet not in the sky but along the fabric itself.

As entrancing as his or her clothes were Angela had a hard time distinguishing any normal details. The kid's appearance was quite androgynous, with both a chubby yet masculine jaw, pointed ears, long beautiful locks of straight blond hair, sleek eyebrows and curled lashes the feature drawing most of her attention had to be the glowing golden lamps for eyes that looked like they were peering into her soul. It's skin was smooth and pale without blemish, as adorable and exquisite as this physical appearance was pleasing to the eye it was certainly unnatural, whatever this creature was..... it wasn't human.

"Angela Chiaki Hearth, you are here to be judged, before an afterlife is chosen for you hehe." Shuffling towards her with its small legs, the previous booming voice that bounced around in her head was now a subdued whisper tickling past her ears, just loud enough for her to hear.

Finally "It" reached right in front of her, barely up to her waist the creature, spirit whatever it was locked eyes with her while a smile revealed the razor sharp teeth hidden behind its pink lips.

Angela was a very straight forward and brash person when it comes to her feelings, and yes while she did tend to fly off the handle more often then not she had a veritable intelligence that would rear it's ugly head when her endowed verbosity was required for an often brutal tangent. But... after the scare which nearly made her soul leave her body and is still making her entire being uncomfortable she quickly understood how dire this situation was and how weary she should be of this "Thing".

"Good! Now that your calm, understand that I won't be hurting you child." Waving "It's" hand the creature spawned clouds from its clothing which quickly congregated into the shape of a white table with two chairs. Gesturing for her to take a seat, she became fidgety for a moment before deciding to take it at it's word, sitting down she noticed that the table and chairs were composed entirely of flowing clouds yet their texture changed depending on the parts being touched. With the legs and table feeling as hard as stone she couldn't understand how her ass felt like it was on the greatest cushion in the world.

"So... Why did you kidnap me specifically? And where" She gestured to the void like scenery surrounding them "Exactly is this?" Raising an eyebrow slightly, the creature in the form of a child placed its hands on the table, the same immaculate color as it's skin the fingers possesed no wrinkles nor nails, they were longer than typically normal for a child of the impostors age and extremely sharp.

"Very well, answering your questions might make the next part more fun, but um there wasn't really any criteria, you simply Died and your Soul fell into my domain" Emphasizing the "Died" and "Soul" parts the creature simply locked its fingers together under its chin while staring at her reaction with anticipation and glee while haphazardly kicking its legs back and forth as they didn't quite reach the ground.

Trembling slightly at the notion of her own death Angela's gaze went past the monster in front of her, being pulled towards the surrounding void once again, remembering how she felt just moments ago she let out a defeated sigh before reestablishing eye contact before she pukes from fear.

"How exactly did I die?" From just the first response she understood where she is and considering the soul tipoff this thing definitely isn't human, it makes sense to continue conversing until she could figure something else out.

"Suicide, honestly I see the appeal in it but you must've up and done it without even realizing. You humans are a truly fascinating species" Before Angela could retort that she'd never take her own life the creature's knack for condescension and dramatics flared when the imposter flexed a finger back and forth as if telling a child their wrong, the same action moved some clouds from "It's" sleeve to the center of the table. The cloud began to frantically spin on itself and contract before a 3D image of a room and bed could be seen through its haze, although it started out blurry the image slowly gained better quality but Angela already figured out it was her bedroom.

Moments later she witnessed herself come through the door and remove her clothing, not embarrassed in the slightest at having a monster see her half naked she focused with rapt attention as she did exactly what she remembers doing the last time she got home. Yet the image sped up from the moment she fell asleep as the identifiable motions of her breathing under the sheets went up and down more quickly while the blanket shifted around slightly, she saw another silhouette enter her room. Unable to tell who it was she leaned in closer until the shadows masking the individuals face parted to reveal a rather handsome man of incredible height, watching her as she slept.

'That sonofabitch broke into my home!!!' Raving in her mind Angela knew this man well, he was one of her flings a few months prior, she couldn't exactly recall his name but she remembers why she stopped seeing him. The guy was waaaay too clingy, plus when she found out she was a side piece he was seeing it kind of ruined the sex. Gazing up at the creature who spun this magical flashback she let out a breathe of exasperation. 'Funny.... I died because I play too hard to get, that guy must've been so torn up and heartbroken after I ghosted him and added his girlfriend to the chat group without him knowing that he broke in and killed me in my sleep' Folding and crossing her arms she put her head on the table to hide her face and quietly sobbed. 'God I fucking hate my taste in men, my life was good until this insecure jackass got all emotional and ended it all, now I'm stuck here with whatever this "Thing" is'.

Lifting her head she saw the ethereal freak rapping the table with it's clawed fingers the same grating sound of metal against metal unlike the silence of soft flesh made itself known again, when she made eye contact she felt a cold shower pour on her soul as goosebumps rose all over her body not from fear but a sense of weakness and lethargy. Smiling wickedly the creature wiggled another finger having the cloud feed reverse to moments before the "murderer" was fully revealed.

"Man I love narcissists, you guys barely see anything before forming an opinion." Pointing one of its claws at her bundle of sheets and comforter, the creature let out a shrill cackle.

"Heheheh look at this you moron, you died before he even touched you"

Watching the cloud again Angela was disturbed when she realized that after a certain point the rise and fall of the sheets couldn't be distinguished.

'N-N- No.....' Angela's lips quivered while the tooth filled grin of her host seemed to get even wider than humanly possible.

Absorbing the cloud back into its robe the creature floated upwards above the table, with another wave of a sleeve the chairs and table changed back into their smoky state and returned to being images on the pristine white-blue robes. Consequently this meant Angela fell on her ass, yet she was still mortified at the way she died that she didnt even react.

"That boy toy of yours didn't actually break in, he had a spare key made before the split and your surprise truth reveal to his prey of three years kinda spiraled his life out of control, he was looking for payback but you were brain dead before he got the chance" Loftly swishing around in the air the imposter held out its clawed hand, within moments Angela was off the ground flying towards him, the creature's cold grip wrapped around her throat while "It" stared into her helpless eyes as he tightened his grasp on her trachea crushing her ability to speak.

"I'm a bored God Angela and your the best toy I could've asked for" As It spoke every word with joy, Angela's body began forming cracks as "It" let her go and she fell towards the ground... she shattered.

Looking down at her own body Angela was frightened to realize that the flesh and bones constituting her form were in fact created by those same hazy clouds as they broke apart from her "body" and funneled back towards "It's" garbs. What lay underneath her fake shell however... she had a hard time recognizing. she still possessed her physical appearance but she was naked, her form gaseous and carrying a strange gloomy dark tint. Attempting to touch herself was met by the approaching limb dispersing on contact and reforming moments later.

Gazing at the child who now had a grin of  demonic origins stretching to the furthest reaches of its ears the entity no longer mouthed words as it's previous quite voice returned gently into her mind yet her soul shivered all the same as when she first heard It.

"I've already judged your worth Angela Chiaki Hearth, and as far as I see it your not much of anything other than entertainment" With a another wave of its finger, small clouds of various colors some known to Angela others so fantastical she didnt know any words to do them justice flew out of her forehead.

The amalgam of incandescent haze swirled and swooshed before settling, like the previous cloud feed, Angela saw multiple memories play out from her point of view. Bouts of depression, addiction, internet hate rants and self harm were all clad in gloomy dark midnight blues and veiny vermillion red, even the memories of her sessions of passion with random men and women who met her personal standards of beauty didn't lie about the negative things she did after these relationships ended with their purple-pink hues.

Everything that she was, was laid bare and the memories of what she last said to her father, the vague blurry memories of her blackouts, the trauma of her childhood. It all broke her down a little to witness, she could feel those very same emotions all over again just flowing about freely in the air, washing her in pain and so little happiness.

"I'm going to give you another chance at living Angela" Snapping her out of her reverie, she saw the Demon's back  as "It" floated about in her gaseous river of memories, grabbing and absorbing the many late night sessions of manga and light novel reading that ended up killing her. As well as her trauma, egotistical rants and basically all her personal moments and interactions with about half her childhood and adult life disappearing into its robes.

Looking over "It's" shoulder the creature noticed her pained expression as her mind slowly became a jumbled mess, smiling eagerly it offered a few words to consol her. "It feels weird sending you off without a little something to spice things up, it's just a shame it's against the rules to do anything for free so I'm taking a few of your tasty memories, it'd be boring if you had all of them anyway."

"Mmmmh this is the good stuff, alright let's see something lethal and fla~shy ooh! Here we go!" Taking a memory of her reading Solo Leveling, specifically the chapters revolving around Sung Jin-woo's fight with the 3 Monarchs. Angela watched him skim through her memories of the manga before making a decision.

"I think this chick's attributes fit you perfectly; egotistical, died like a dumbass oh and your both annoying insects. You'll possess her spiritual potential but it's up to you to make any of it work in your favor" Slowly crushing the gaseous memories eventually shattering them into wistful motes of ashy white light he proceeded to morph the motes by combining it with some of the misty clouds and changed their appearance into that of multiple small insect critters: Roaches, Ants, Bees, Parasites, Beatles, Butterflies etc... Fusing it all into an egg shaped rocky colony/hive of diverse infesting bugs and their strange self contained broods while the other half of the oval shaped orb was encompassed in a supernatrual fluid of festering diseases and tainting poisons ebbing and flowing on its surface before the thing was ruthlessly shoved into her abdomen.

Angela began convulsing as she felt her body being covered in the movements of millions of insects; eating, defecating, fighting and breathing in her soul. It was so incredibly painful and uncomfortable that had "It" not taken away her voice the poor woman would fill the surrounding void with mind rending banshee like SCREAMS of terror and suffering. In all this torture perhaps it was a blessing that she didn't feel parts of her soul rotting off and regrowing, pustules releasing plumes of gas, or the multiple rashes appearing and disappearing along her form.

"Alright you've been a blast, try and mess with the protagonist in that world a little but mostly try not to die too fast! Oh and try and find yourself a man... or woman, a real partner! I don't care which just live a little so there's more for me to fiddle with when you get back here." The last thing Angela precieved with her senses before the Demon's "gift" overwhelmed her was seeing the creature conjure a portal of clouds to a world that resembled earth but with very different continents, she felt an irresistible suction pull her towards that planet before blacking out.
