the next thing Ray notices is a black ink bird in front of him, he knows that this was like the place where he was before but linked to Ma Xio Tao, but for some reason, he couldn't let his eyes leave the 'thing' stuck to the neck of the bird to look around, it was like a rod with a bloody heart in the middle, but he is the only one that can see it thanks to his fox martial soul innate eyes.

if he were to describe his emotion in words it will be 'disgust and anger' and the reasons are simple, the first was that he knew on instinct the thing in front of him was something hateful and disgusting for him and shouldn't be here in the first place.

and the more domaining emotion is anger, well, angry that someone trying to control Xio Tao.

he looks at Ma xio tao, then her mature figure of her, then back and forth between them 'She definitely will be more than a beautiful lady in the future, that for sure.' he nodded to the confusion of the one in question and the amusement of the flame phoenix.

he looks back at the bird to find it bonded with the ivy and also he can feel a connection to it, he unconsciously used his bloodline essence his eyes turn golden-green and a pair of dragonflies appear on his back.

not noticing the Hot look both ladies give him, as he tried to use the ivy branches to pull the rod but to his surprise, it jump on its own in Xio Tao's direction, the fire phoenix got in front of her but before even reacting the thing hit a shield in front of him before he was thrown by the reflection of his attack and start to screech and jumble around.

thanks to coming in contact with Ray's energy he starts to become visible, a dark body without eyes but horns in their place, no mouth but something like arms with sharp teeth in the end, and it floats ther without legs and hands (imaging it).

Ma xio Tao got goosebumps all over her body just from the feeling she got and start to shake "w..what is that thing, and where its come from?" the flame phoenix answered will covering her in some red energy "That, little girl what pure evil look, one of the weak ones so don't worry"

then she looks at Ray who was busy observing the thing 'So this is the current generation One? still weak to even stand On that battlefield, but his energy is too potent for his level, well no less expected from both an 'honor' and 'pride' blood holder.'

as she keep the 'thing' in check, Ray was scanning the thing and he honestly feels like someone playing with his life, almost everything they can do was something probably no mortal can fight, hell, some cultivators with dark themes will easily be affected.

Ray even starts to think that evil masters have some connection to these things 'and this just a weak-leveled one?'

'well that is something to work on in the future.' thinking so he notice the Pawn trying to attack Xio Tao, but he erect a light element barrier in front of them, and every time the Pawn tried to attack he will get burned but didn't stop for a while.

as he starts to back off to the unconcise Blackbird, Ray steps up and vanishes to reappear in the way of the pawn and punish him right in the face sending him flying.

wanting to try something he deactivates his bloodline and activates his NFox Martial Soul. the moment he did so the pawn froze in his place and start to shake as if he floating in the frozen sea.

Ray took the chance and strengthen his right arm whit soul power giving it a dark gold shine, he use 'quick step' and appear in front of him and punched his face, but this time he didn't get thrown, but instead, he stretches and starts to despair to the surprise of Ray.

after remembering what the old man said, Ray let the matter go as this one was of the weakest on the list and can't really get much information from it.

he look back at the surprised lady's and start to scratch his head and got closer. he looks at Xio Tao "Good to see that you are ok"

she nodded "Flame phoenix to be more specific" She look at the sleeping black bird then create a fireball and kick it in its direction to hit it square in the forehead "THAT HURTS? what was that for sis?"

the red Phoenix growled back "YOU ASKING FOR WHAT? DO YOU REMEMBER HOW THAT WEEK ASS CONTROLE YOU?!" the blackbird flinch before sighing "My bad ok? So don't get angry OK?" as the mature but childish voice stopped, a pure black aura envelope the blackbird and turned again to Mature Xio Tao figure but with black hair and eyes.

Ray took a quick look at Xio Tao and back to the two mature ladies "Man, whoever becomes your husband is a lucky bastard"

as he said so he look around to find Xio Tao with a deep red face almost like her head, the ladies start to laugh at him to notice "d....Did I say.... that loud?" both of them nodded with smirks then looked at Xio Tao saying at the same time "Loud and clear" causing him to blush with embedment while Xio Tao starts to steam from her head.

Ray took a deep breath and calm himself, he look at the phoenix duo with a serious face "So, will you guys introduce yourselves? I have a general idea but not yours specific and Xio Tao doesn't know anything"

the lady in question that almost calmed down start to blush again at the way he call her.

the two ladies sighed and shook ther hed at the sight.
