We resume our trek, and when we arrive at Urokodaki's house, he greets us with a serious tone and says, "welcome to my humble dwelling, you will be recuperating for four days before we begin training."He then examines the situation more closely""where are your bags?" he inquires. "Right here," I remark as I take them from the inventory.

We've gone through hell, or should I say Tanjiro has been through hell, because it's been a breeze for me over these two months. I've developed a new breathing technique called Ygure no azurisu, or Dusk Azuris, which combines shadow and water breathing. I've only come up with two concepts so far.

For the next nine months, I've been training with gourds since Urokodaki taught me constant breathing, and I've progressed to the 9th largest one. For the next 13 months, I've finally mastered shadow breathing, but I've reached a bottleneck, which I expect to change once I fight the lower and upper moons.

Since the effect of me and the thought of his family dying, Tanjiro has made much more progress than the anime. After 6 days, we're ready to embark on our adventure to the demon slayer exam on Mt. Fujikasane, which isn't too far away; in fact, we'll be there in a couple of days, 2 days to be exact.

We rested for two days after arriving to Mt. Fujikasane, and when we arrived, I saw a yellow-haired boy who looked like his eyes were about to jump out of his sockets.

Two girls appear in front of us and state the rules: "You will survive out here for seven nights, I wish you all the best of luck." Once they say start, I run in past everyone, utilizing my improved senses to detect a demon presence in the bushes. Ygure no azurisu is what I use: 1st form dusk step I run at an unusually slow pace with a tune, fooling the demon into thinking there are more than one of me. I take advantage of this and slash the demon's head off.

(3rd POV)

A demon gets startled while hiding in a bush and attempts to flee when he realizes Kaze's back is turned. "I have to get out of here!" he exclaims. He dashes out of the bush, and 20 kazes surround him. The demon becomes enraged and slashes at one of the kazes, but no blood gushes out like it usually does. His view shifts to the skies,as everything goes dark.

(1st POV)

"I'm hungry," I remark as I rub my stomach, slashing at the air to clear it of demon blood. I sit down and close my eyes, and I sense the presence of a pig a few miles north, as well as the presence of a massive demon known as "the hand demon!" I dash in that direction, and as I reach there, I see Tanjiro chopping off the arms. Shadow Rapid Movement Strike (Form 2) I say a dark aura comes over me as I slice the arms shielding the neck in a zigzag fashion, while Tanjiro comes in and slashes the neck open, killing the hand demon.
