A mission from the Guild?
Is everyone ready? Time to continue.
As always, I'll drop below some links and talk a bit more about everything that's going through my head.
First, my little vacation is about to end, at most one more week and I'll go back to Uni, I know, it's sad, I feel the same.
This time, I'll be choosing even more electives, about 8, I'm certain about one thing, I certainly won't have time to write, play, exercise, and study sheesh.
At least I don't have a girlfriend, otherwise, my life would be overpacked.
I'm starting to understand how Philip feels... Wait, I based him off myself oh yeah...
For those unaware, he's from my other novel.
Anyway, this leads us to today, last 2 chapters were a bit more comical, a day in the bar, and a day of pranks, now we go back to the serious stuff.
We didn't pass the goal for the extra chapter, but that's likely because I posted 2 chapters instead of 3, one being bigger of course.

Even after all I did… I guess I can't go unpunished for tasting all kinds of drinks at once…
Even though most of them weren't that high on alcohol... Neither was it a lot when I put all of those small shots together...
"I certainly drank more than this before... But even so, I won't do it again."

'He looked towards the side wall, his eyes flashed, and for a moment, he saw the figure of a snoring elf laying on a bed.'

"Here you go..." He said as he placed the small vial on top of a table
"That's all that I can do for now… I hope you still have the stomach to drink one last bottle..." He said with a small smile
"But enough lazing around, I have things to do."
'Silver got up from his bed, stretched, brushed his teeth, and took a quick shower...'
'Now, if someone was to look at him, they wouldn't believe he was wasted not so long ago…'

'Silver was now properly dressed and his breath was mint, he couldn't get any better than this unless he used makeup... What a bad idea.'
'He went to his drawer on the side of his bed and took out a small hand clock…'
"6:21 Am?... Just how little did I sleep?..."
'He looked outside, it was true, the sun had just risen, he could see flocks of birds rising into the skies, and the clear clouds moving slowly in the blue sky.'

Committing such embarrassing acts and laughing with everyone is part of being in a Familia right?
'Silver shook his head once again, trying to remember more, but the last thing he remembered after talking with the Amazon was hitting the bed.'
"Hum?... Wait… Yeah, I remember Hestia coming here in the middle of the night to say something but… I was half asleep and I don't remember shit…"

Well… Orario's drinks can be very potent, although I didn't try Soma, since Mia doesn't sell it in her Pub, I still tried many other famous drinks.

'He walked to a window nearby, but saw no one, the sound was coming from further away… From inside the small forest in the back section of the Manor.'

'Silver lifted his right arm, and a hole appeared on the back of his palm…'

'A yellow bee horrifyingly crawled out of the hole, flying in the direction of the sound…'
'Don't blame Silver, he was a bit bored, so why not check it out and see what was happening?'

'After flying for a little over a minute, the little bee saw the figure of a young boy, holding a spear as he clashed it against an iron chest plate strapped to a tree.'
'It was Piro, the eldest of the triplets, training in the morning alone and away from other people's sights…'
'Silver determined that not even a Level 2 like Daphne would be able to hear him considering how far he was.'
"... I heard he showed the most talent among his brothers while also being the one to work the hardest… Now I see why."
His talent comes from somewhere...
'Silver smiled slightly.'
"It must be hard to be the eldest…"
So I'll give you some help…
"This is a bit complicated, especially with my damn headache, but I can pull it off." He said as he controlled the yellow bee
'The bee landed near a rock behind Piro, and above it, a black portal opened, and a colorless potion fell out of it as the portal vanished.'
'The bee grabbed the potion and moved it near the young boy's belongings as if it was always there...'
"Hm… Good luck." He said as he turned around
"13! HA! 14!..."
'The young boy was so focused on his task that it would take at least another 30 minutes for him to notice the potion, but once he does, he would be in for a pleasant surprise…'

'Silver continued on his way across the Manor, stopping in front of Hestia's room.'
/ZZZzzz… Snore…ZZzz…/
"... As expected."
She's sleeping huh…
'He opened the door and looked inside, approaching her bed in deep thought...'
'For a moment, he debated whether it would be a good choice to wake her up now just to talk, or if it was better to let her sleep more…'
'But on another note, he felt that if he were to leave her for later, she would complain…'
"... Sil…" Hestia mumbled in her sleep as she grabbed his arm
'Silver opened his eyes, startled.'
"Hm?"
Did she react to me?... How cute.
Yeah… I almost forgot about it since we're now mostly sleeping far away from each other, but in the past, she would always cling to me…
It's rather nice.
'He smiled.'
I kind of miss those times a little, even though they weren't so long ago…
Nor did they last that long at all either…
'Hestia's bed was rather large, and since it seemed she wouldn't let go of his arm anytime soon, he simply took off his shoes and laid next to her…'
'It was comfortable, even though there was someone laying on his arm...'
"Hehe…" She mumbled in her sleep with a small smile as she hugged Silver

It's difficult to think she's sleeping but she is.

Fine… I'll pamper you a bit.
'Silver hugged her back, caressing her smooth hair…'

'Hestia opened her eyes and felt a familiar warmth…'

"I don't mind, if you wish to remain like this for a while longer you can…" He said as he pulled her closer

"You're oddly clingy today…"

"No no no, I wasn't scolding you!" She said hurriedly
"Yeah I understand, so far, I haven't been a nice representation of what a boyfriend should be."

'He wasn't lying, a couple dozen small shots didn't even amount to 2-3 bottles, some adventurers will drink several mugs of mead a day...'
'Some of those drinks didn't even have high alcohol contents…'
'But they were still strong nonetheless…'
"It makes me wonder how strong Soma actually is... Although I have no intention of risking myself and drinking it since people say it's highly addictive." Silver said with a shrug
"Sigh… As long as you're fine." She said with a smile
'She stopped to think until she remembered what she was going to say:'
"Oh yeah. You said you went to the Guild for our Familia Rank… Did you receive it?"

'Silver suddenly realized…'
"I did, but I actually forgot to check…" He said awkwardly as he opened his inventory, taking out a small letter
I was so focused yesterday that I forgot to open it…
But oh well, better this way.
"How about we open it together?" He asked with a smile
'Hestia nodded, taking out a small blunt knife from her drawer, it was a letter opener, something really necessary for someone in a position of power…'

"Okay… Let me see." Hestia said as she read through the letter
'She quickly skimmed through the phrases, those formalities were of little to no importance for her, going quickly to the core of the letter…'
"HA?!" She gasped in surprise
"What is it? Is our Rank lower than expected?" Silver asked Hestia
"Check it yourself!" She said as she turned the letter to him
"Hum... Bla bla bla... Congratulations... Bla... And..."
'At the very end of the letter, he saw the symbol of his Familia next to a massive letter… F!'
"F rank?..." Silver said as he raised an eyebrow
Not truly unexpected… Louji did say that our Rank was either going to be G or something higher.
But this means that the taxes… Damn.
'But this was far from the end…'
"Hm?... Look at this… A mission? Do you know anything about this Silver?"
"Mission? Let me take a look."
'This time, Silver read through the entire letter, it wasn't simply a notice about their Familia rank, but also a mission from the Guild.'
'It was pretty vague, but it was about delivering something from the surface to the Dungeon…'
'Hestia was pretty confused about this, why would there be such a Quest? She may understand if it was to deliver supplies to the 18th floor, there is a city there after all…'

'He found it strange that such an important quest to be delivered through a simple Familia Rank letter, so he thought it was something else...'

"Do you know what this is about?" She asked him with a frown, noticing his expression
"Yes, I do, they purposely kept it vague, I'll learn more by going there directly."
'This surprised Hestia, who then asked:'
"What is it about then?"
"Hum… It's complicated, but I may be overestimating things as well, but the timing is a bit too perfect…"
"Just tell me!" She asked annoyed
"Calm down… Let me take a look at it first, I'll tell you everything later."
'Hestia was visibly upset.'
"Tsk, even now, you keep acting mysteriously." She said as she crossed her arms
'Silver rolled his eyes... Women...'
'So he hugged her and said:'
"I'm not trying to do that, I swear… It's just a bit overly complicated and it would be overwhelming if I were to simply tell you what's going on." He replied with an awkward smile
"I could even be wrong anyway..."
"I'll take that for now, but don't take too long and say what's happening okay?" She said in a concerned tone
"I will, we're a Familia after all."
'Silver got up from Hestia's bed and said:'
"Aside from that… Aren't you happy? We're now an F Rank Familia."
"... A little bit…" She said as she looked at the side with her cheeks puffed
'Silver rolled his eyes, so he patted her head and said:'
"Me too."
'Hestia liked it, but she tried to remain upset...'
"... Humph…"

'Once Silver was done patting her head, he left Hestia's room.'
'There were still some things he had to do before resuming his training, but it seemed he now had one more thing to do before diving in the Dungeon…'

I've recently read the Episode Ryuu Manga, and I found out that the Pub actually has more than just a few members that usually appear.
In fact, it has at the very least 10 more workers, all of which are probably over Level 3 in terms of power, making them an actual super strong Familia.
All girls with a troublesome past, adopted by Mama mia and Syr and reformed into proper people.
I think the only one that's named is Mya, a cook, but there are many others.
Of course, I probably won't show them, but I'll try to make their existence known when I make another episode in the Hostess.
