44 Kidnapping Children

After the incident, everyone brushed it off, but Luck was repeatedly asking to fight. Of course, Madara refused. They asked him what happened, but all he said was 'I was training'.

After taking bath, Madara went to his room and meditated for hours. He blocked out all sound and focused on his meditation. Early afternoon, Asta came knocking on his door.

"It's about time we leave, right?" Asta asked Madara who was sitting in a lotus position.

Yesterday, Rebecca ask both Asta and Madara to come to Nean to meet her siblings. Why did she ask Asta to come? I don't know either.

Both Madara and Asta when outside to see Magna cleaning his 'baby'. Asta and Magna talked for a bit, then they left.

Descending from the air, Madara was greeted by a bunch of kids. Madara and Asta played with the kids. Madara might not have shown it, but he enjoyed playing with them. He flew each of them around the city and showed them some magic.

'Marie... Marie... Ma-' Gauche stopped say her name as he was frozen in shock.

He saw Marie holding onto Asta's arm while being swung around. She was smiling and laughing happily which made Gauche feel rage.

Before the other kids could have a turn with Asta, Gauche kicked Asta in the face then into the ground.

"Get away from her this instant, you trash!" Gauche said while stepping on Asta's face.

"Hey, you're my senior with the sister complex who's always getting nosebleeds!" Asta said with a face full of boot.

"I'll stomp you to death!" Gauche said started to emit malice.

"I train hard, so you'll have to try harder than that!" Asta said with a smile on his face, stars in his eyes, and holding up his thumb.

"I'm only able to see my sister, who lives at the church, once a month! Today is the one day that I get to release my pent up feelings, worship the heck out of my sister, and do all kinds of things with her." Gauche said filled with anger.

'What did he say?'

Madara was leaning up against the wall, not paying attention to the ordeal, but those words he heard.

'Is no one going to say anything about what he just said?' Madara thought opening one eye.

"What does he mean by 'all kinds of things'?" Rebecca's little brother asked.

"Stop being so mean, big brother! I'm going to marry Asta and Madara!" Maria said to her brother causing him to die inside.

"I'll kill you... I'll kill you... I'll kill you..." Gauche repeated those same words as he got up and open his grimoire.

"Mirror Magic: Reflect Ray!" A mirror appears from his grimoire and shoots a ray beam at Asta and Madara.

Asta barely dodges it, but Madara only puts his hand up taking the attack. He looked at his hand to only see smoke coming off of it. He clenched his fist and thought, 'My body... it's changing'.

Gauche then shoots more ray beams at Asta and Madara. Asta dodged the attacks while Madara blocked them with his hand. Again, he looked to his hand to see nothing but smoke.

No burns marks or any damage dealt. He then looked up to see an old woman in a habit.

"Marie, it's time. We must go back to the church." Theresa said looking at Marie.

"Marie is about to go on a date with me," Gauche said closing his grimoire.

'No wonder he was a convict.'

After arguing with the Sister, she eventually left with Marie. Seeing how he had not gotten to spend any time with his sister, Gauche fell to the ground in shock. He laid there not moving an inch.

"Why don't you come in and have dinner at our place while you wait for him to wake up? You're welcome to spend the night... if you want." Rebecca suggested.

"Really?!" Asta exclaimed with stars in his eyes.

"Yeah, sure," Rebecca said while sneaking glances at Madara.

"What do you think, Madara?" Asta asked Madara who seemed to be sleeping.

"Why not," Madara said making Rebecca sigh in relief.

"S-So good!" Asta said with stars in his eyes eating Rebecca's food.

Madara was eating at a table near Asta and her siblings with Secre. Madara offered her food, but instead of rejecting it, she ate it.

Madara was enjoying the time with Secre, but It would be better if she was in her human form.

"You'll make a great wife one day, Rebecca!" Asta said causing Rebecca to glance at Madara.

"It's no big deal!" Rebecca responded with a hand on her cheek while blushing.

"Sissy, are you going to marry Madara?" Her little brother asked while tugging her clothes.

"N-No!" Rebecca said to her little brother while malice filled the air. Madara could already bell who it was. It was Noelle who was spying on him the entire day.

He decided to burn the image into his mind, so he could draw it later then give it to her. Or he could confront her not, but that wouldn't be any fun. If he embarrassed her in front of everyone it could set things back for him.

All of a sudden, all the glasses filled with water shot out of the glasses.

"You should totally jump him tonight, sis!" Her little sister whispered to her.

Hearing their conversation, Madara couldn't help but shake his head, 'How old are these kids?'.

"You idiot! What are you saying, Luca?" Rebecca said out of embarrassment and shock.

Nightfall soon fell and Madara created a clone to take his place. He had his clone pretend to be him and fall asleep while the real one was outside.

He made his way to the cave that the duo was going to lead the children into. While walking, he spotted a man on a broom in all white, a blue scarf, and a dark blue bag. He quickly flew behind the man without making a sound.

"You move you die. You use magic and you die. Make a sound and you die. If you understand close your eyes." Madara said in a dark tone making the man tremble in fear.

"Trying to kidnap children and steal their mana. I should kill you right now. I have no use for you. Either way, Licht will show up." Madara said making the man's heart skip a beat.

Madara knew he was going to try something, so he decided to entertain him. Niege quickly made some distance between them and used magic.

"Snow Creation Magic: Snow Friends!" With his grimoire open, Niege created different snowmen to attack Madara.

"Snow Magic: Unclimbed Ice Wall!" Niege then created a thick sheet of ice to protect himself.

Madara smiled like a madman and said, "I guess I'll have to kill your brother then."

When he said that, he disappeared along with the wind to the cave. Niege had a look of shock then rage hearing Madara. He dispelled his snow friends and went after Madara.

"YOU WILL DIE IF YOU TOUCH HIM!"
