7. Grimoire

'It's Time' I thought as I went in with everyone else

Once inside the doors behind us closed and I took a look around. Everywhere are bookshelves or better said it looks like the entire Tower is just made out of bookshelves.

"So now that you are all gathered let me say some words first before we go to the part with the Grimoires. First I want to say that...*bla bla bla* Thank you for listening to my words, now let's get your Grimoires!" after that the whole group erupted in cheers while I gave a smile

'I waited 12 years for this moment and now, it's finally time. I wonder how many of those leaf thingis my Grimoire will have?' (I don't know it's name and am too lazy to google)

"Now, let's begin the ceremony!" when she said that a bright light came from above and dozens of books could be seen flying there in the air (I can't remember it clearly so I am just making some stuff up) the lights dimmed down a bit and the books started descending. It were books of various sizes and formes. Some were just standard looking normal books but there were also those who got some special books. One guy even got two books. Wait. He kinda looks like Sekke Bronzazo or something like that. But that can't be true because he should just be as old as Asta and Yuno. Yeah, I must have mistaken him. He just mumbled something about a dark lord and went away. Strange guy.

But now to me. Everyone already got his book but I am the only one who didn't. There must be something broken up there.

Everyone started to whisper while staring at me, some even got the balls to mock me loudly.

"Oh, what do we have here, so the mighty Aether, brother of the trash from Hage, didn't get a Grimoire? Seems like he isn't much different than his brother hahaha!" with him two others started laughing out loud too while I heard some others giggle and others trying to suppress their laugh

'You are fucked when we get out of here' I thought as I stared coldly at him. He flinched and looked scared for a moment before he looked like he realized something. He looked at his Grimoire and smiled at me afterwards

'So you think you are safe because of your Grimoire now, well you are still fucked even when I don't have one, but for real now, where the fuck is mine?'

suddenly the bright flash came again but this time a lot brighter than before, you had to close your eyes hard and look away to not get blinded by the light, so bright was it

After the light dimmed again you can see three Grimoires descending towards Aether now

"What the fuck was that?!" Aether shouted out loud what everyone thought

As he looked up he was shocked to see three Grimoires descending directly towards him. And now they stopped in front of him, floating there.

Everyone around who saw this gasped and had their mouths wide open

Two books are already very rare and not seen often, but three? That was never heard of before

On his left there was a completely black with little gold on the lines on it. The shocking thing is that this Grimoire is with NO?! leaf thingis on it

'Shit why?! I thought it is stronger the more leaf thingis are on it or something' I got little depressed there 'but maybe it's just because it is so strong it doesn't need these leaf thingis'

Anyway, to the next one. One his right there is a white Grimoire also with gold lines on it and also without those leaf thingis again

'Shit again'

The one in the middle is a shining silver one with dark silver lines, but this time it has something on it, just it isn't a leaf thingi again, it's an Endless symbol?(♾️)

"What the f-" he was interrupted by his books

The black one and the white one started fluttering like crazy and then they floated to each other and started fighting?! What the hell! Why are they fighting? Shit they are destroying themselves!

I went in to stop them but a powerful burst of energy from the two of them send me flying into the wall

*BOOM*

"*cough cough* ugh" I slowly stood up again and dusted myself off. What the hell is this Power? And why are they fighting? I have to stop it somehow!

"Hey you! What the hell is wrong with your Grimoires, stop them!" the Booklady? I am gonna call her that shouted at me

"I will try" I said as I summoned my Spear and rushed towards the two fighting Grimoires

"Everyone else, get outta here now!" she shouted

The others came out of their shock and started running towards the doors, some even screamed

"Tch!" I reached the two books now and tried too seperate them with my Mana but it didn't work

"So you want it the hard way huh?" I gripped my Spear tightly and used it as a bat to hit them apart. I don't want to cut them. But they just came out of the little rubble and started fighting again

'Shit, do I really have to cut one of them apart? I don't want to!' as if hearing my thoughts the silver one suddenly started to glow and flew towards them....And ripped them completely apart...

"WHAT THE FUCK?! ARE YOU INSANE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WHY YOU RIPPED THEM APART YOU STUPID SHIT!" even though I know it's just a book and can't understand me but I mean what the fuck, why? Why it ripped them apart?

But then something unexpected happened. The silver Grimoire just absorbed the shreds of the other two and then started glowing again

And as the glow dimmed I couldn't believe my eyes. The silver book transformed into a mix of the three of them (I leave it to your imagination to know how it looks like)

*DING*

[Grimoire {Absorber Magic} absorbed Grimoire {Dark Magic} and Grimoire {Holy Magic}]

Absorber? I didn't wish for something like that. Oh, I know.

The messenger guy said that I will get an extra gift once I get my Grimoires. Seems like the dark magic and holy magic couldn't be contained together by me alone so he gave me the Absorber Magic Grimoire.

*sigh*~
