Chapter 9

REN POV

"How long has it been since you have been living here?"

I asked gojo about when he was transmigrated. I was interested in his circumstances.

"I have been here since my birth."

Hearing Gojo's answer, I was taken aback abit.

It could mean that we might be here for different reasons.

While i was in the middle of brain stroming about it, Gojo asked me a similar questions.

"What about you?"

"I transmigrated? here just a week before lock started.

If you were here for last 16 years, have you not taken any cheats?"

It was something that i could not understand. Why would he not take any cheats after being here for so long?

If i were on his shoes than, i would have taken the <seed of limit>.

Now that i think about it, if he took it then i would essentially be dead right now.

Maybe, i should thank him.

But, just a look at his face made me have second thoughts.

"Cheats? What do you mean?"

He asked me with a tilt of his head which signified confusion or atleast that's what i think it is.

He looks geniunly confused.

"Wait.... How far had you read the novel."

I asked.

"What novel?"

Gojo asked with a confused frown.

Hearing his word made my mind go blank for a moment.

I started questioning how could he know the plot of the novel, if he had not read it.

Did he got the knowledge from something different.

"W-what?, you-"

I involuntarily Shuttered.

My mind was in a turmoil, thinking of how he got future knowledge before i heard Gojo's laugh.

-pfffft

"You should have seen your face."

Gojo cut me off in the middle of my sentance as he laughed at me.

-sigh

Somehow i feel that i am aging faster whenever i am talking with Gojo.

"I had only read until multi academy part."

Gojo informed.

"Is that so."

I asked thoughtfully.

"You don't trust my word?"

Gojo asked with a whiny tone.

"Honestly? no"

I replied to Gojo.

How can one expect me to even trust a man child like Gojo.

"You wound me."

Gojo said in a monotonous voice with a straight face.

-pfffft

Seeing Gojo's face and hearing the tone of his voice, I could not help but laugh.

Putting aside his antics, Gojo was a fun person to talk.

He was someone who would make things funny even in tense situation.

Whether this was a good thing or not was not something, i had answer to.

"That novel was shit to be honest."

I take that back.

"Anyway, how much have you read of it.

Gojo asked me.

Now, this was awkward moment, afterall i wrote the novel.

I should probably not mention that to him lest i want him to further humilate me.

"I read till the latest chapter when it was about to finish."

"And you know all the details of the novel."

"I guess."

"Don't tell me you were a hardcore fan of that novel."

Gojo looked at me with a amused face.

Looking at him, i felt the need to punch him right at that face of his.

"W-why do you think so?"

Even so, gathering determination, i asked with a lion like tone- ok maybe meekly.

"Hmm~, You said that since, you remember nearly all the details of the novel.

I must say, you have pretty bad taste.

My mouth twitched as i heard Gojo's words.

"I am actually author of novel."

I involuntarily said out loud.

It was not loud enough to be heard by Gojo atleast that's what I hope.

But, looking at the shit eating grin on his face, it doesn't seems to be the case.

"Now i get it. Only an idiot like you can make such a badly written world."

"Shut up!!"

I shouted at him as calmly as dumbledore in movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

"Man, you are so childish."

Gojo remarked at my outburst.

"So, i am childish now?"

I couldn't believe his audacity to say something like that.

Time passed, as we continued with some small talk and by talk i meant me getting roasted by him.

"Anyway i am leaving."

Gojo said as he finished his espresso.

He got up from his seat and was about to walk away without waiting for my answer, when he suddenly, turned his head toward me and spoke.

"You should probably learn, how to use mana properly. Your control over mana is really bad."

Gojo adviced and started walking away while waving his hand.

His advice was really good. I did not have anyone to teach me the process of using mana.

"Excuse me sir, your bill."

A waiter came up to me as, i was about to stand up to leave.

I took a look at the bill and i swear i could see my soul leaving my body as i saw the amount written.

"1-1-1 m-milion?"

"Yes sir. Your company told us to put all the bills of other customers here too. He also told us to inform you that this is the fee for the f-free advice."

That bastard!!!

And what did he meant by free advice? I literally have to pay a million here.

Gojo Pov

-hehehehe

That should teach him to never grab my collar again. I am so petty.

But, it was his fault honestly speaking. If he had remained clam he would not have to loss his money. If he had not done that then i would still do that cause my free advice is very costly.
