Chapter 15: Snow

Luffy/Skipper:"It's so cold!" said Luffy and Skipper at the same time it's been a few months since they were at this town, right now their both standing in the fields of Arcadia where the weak begginer monsters normally are, but this time it was covered by snow and ice type monsters such as Ice slimes.

Right now you could see Luffy and Skipper sitting in the snow and ice both freezing they are trying to level up their [Cold Resistance], it was a skill that they had got a while ago now they are trying to grind it, Dawn could also be seen wearing clothes fit for the cold unlike Luffy and Skipper. She was looking at the couple like they were idiots.

Dawn:"You know you could just add stat points in it like a normal person are maybe yet limit the amount cold you feel."

Luffy:"Shut up Dawn this is challenge and I never back down from a challenge unless they rigged!"

Skipper:"Did you have to add the 'unless they are rigged' part?'

Luffy:"I maybe an idiot but I'm not stupid!"

Skipper/Dawn:'You are an idiot!' they thought.

-Later-

Luffy:"We're back Anna, we got alot of ice Bunny's and slime cores!"

Anna:"Congrats on completing another quest!" She stamped the paper with complete on it before handing out the money to Luffy, that's when the guild master came out.

Guilo:"Hey Luffy I need your help."

Luffy:"What now another world ending artifact?"

Guilo:"No this one can destroy the entire town if left unchecked and this one isn't my fault...this time."

Luffy:"Okay what's happening?"

Guilo:"Follow me into my office." Luffy walked in the office, inside the man's office a large amount of paper could bee seen being stacked so high it reach the ceiling with other stacks of paper on the floor, the man then took a seat around his desk as Luffy stood there.

Guilo:"Listen Luffy a bunch of rookies took a quest to collect a bunch ice sprites, low level ice spirits, but they accidentally killed some."

Luffy:"And a snow guardian appeared, well this is a problem that's an A-rank monster what type is it?"

Guilo:"Luffy there are more than one."

Luffy:"F*cking Rookies! How many?" said Luffy with an exasperated sigh, as he cupped his forehead.

Guilo:"Five, one samurai a yeti a knight two wyverns and a giant."

Luffy:"Just how many did they kill just killing one is enough for a wyvern!" said Luffy.

Guilo:"That doesn't matter you'll be joined by a few other high ranked adventurers."

Luffy:"Fine."

-Later-

Luffy Skipper and Dawn are currently with ten other parties heading towards the location of the person leading this was escapade was Luffy himself, he didn't want to but since he's the highest ranking he's being forced to.

Luffy:"I sense them, spell casters you guys are gonna deal with the wyverns use your strongest fire spells, tanks defend them, front liners you guys go deal with the ones on the ground, the priests heal and buff anyone who gets injured archers support the front liners." They nod and did as they were told the archers setting their arrows a blaze with their limited mana and firing at the monster party.

Dawn went to fight the Knight while Skipper went to fight the samurai with the support of the others of course, it was complete chaos as adventurers were being injured and healed, Skipper held back as to give the other adventurers experience when dealing with team fights, she did however make sure the other adventurers the careless bastards who were seeking prestige didn't die, they would be getting and earful.

The battle lasted a good two hours, with only a few getting injuries, but nothing like a high level healing spells from Luffy can fix the problem as the priests there don't have any healing spells that strong.

???:"Man I'm beat!" said and adventurer as he collapsed into the cold embrace of the snow, the others started to fall dead tired one after the other, the archers and priest and spell casters used up plenty of magic power when they fired off so many fire spells they were a beyond tired.

Skipper:"Hey Luffy."

Luffy:"I know." A giant figure teleported behind a girl with white hair and dog ears that flopped down, she was wearing armoured gauntlets, the giant figure was the ice giant, which brought down its giant axe to kill the girl. However Luffy caught the back with the palm of his hand, the resounding shockwave caused almost everyone to fly back.

Luffy then jumped up to the giant's face and punched him dead in the face a ripple like pattern formed in the air as the giant blasted away at sonics speeds causing a sonic boom.

???:"That was so cool!" said a little girl, Luffy looked towards her with a blank stare he walked upto her.

Luffy:"What are you doing here you weren't part of the raid?"

???:"My name Snow, I'm a martial artist and I'm a huge fan! I followed you you here to see you in action." She said with stars in her eyes as her small bushy tail started to wag.

Luffy:'Why does she remind me of that v-tuber what was her name Koro-something, I was too busy to be on YouTube all the time.' Luffy then gave her a head pat which she melts under and her tail starts to furiously wag.

Luffy:"Good doggy!" said Luffy.

Snow:"I'm a wolf!" she cutely retorts.

Luffy:"Skipper can we keep her?" said Luffy hugging her.

Skipper:"Luffy she's not an animal!" said the hybrid saiyan.

Luffy:"Aaww!" said Luffy disappointed.

Dawn:"Still that was very reckless of you shouldn't have done that!" said Dawn sternly as the girls ears flopped down and covered her head.

Snow:"I'm sorry!"

Luffy:"What drops we got!" Luffy picks up the ice katana it was and saw it was A-rank weapon, he then picks up the helmet of the ice knight and saw it was the same rank.

Luffy:"ll be taking this and the giant's axe, everything else is yours we'll then split the cash evenly." The other adventurers nodded if it weren't for Luffy, Skipper and Dawn they would've all died and so they all returned to the guild.

Snow:"Mr.Luffy can you tell where you got those wierd swords and why the samurai fight with those?"

Luffy:"It's a type of sword called a katana it's normally wielded by samurais and mine I made mine." Samurai is a rare job not many know of them in the western countries.

There is an eastern continent where they originated from, both continents are aware of each other, but can't interact with each other due to the amount of S-rank creatures from the sea and sky, many sailors, heroes and adventurer from both sides tried to get to each other but they failed.

This information suprised everyone there, they just guessed this is something else they didn't know about Luffy, but still this was earth shattering news, someone who can make A-rank weapons are incredibly rare, the amount of money Luffy could of gained from working with the country or the church. But despite this he chooses to work as an adventurer, this seems to make them have a form of respect for Luffy.

Snow:"By the way why do you and Skipper smell like monkey?"

Luffy:"Our race is have similarities to monky." said Luffy carrying the giant axe.

Stella:"Luffy what is your race you said something about you wouldn't do you race justice at the light festival?" her party is

Luffy:"Have you guys ever wondered why they're no ape or Monkey beastmen?" This confused them as they asked each other even they themselves wondered why, what Luffy noticed is that their are no mentions of ape or monkey type beastmen.

Luffy:"Simple that's humanity and my race the saiyans." This came to a shock to them.

???:"Do you have any evidence?"

Luffy:"Nope but my race did some research." Luffy then went on to explain genetics and how some things work.

???:"So does that mean genetics determine everything?"

Luffy:"Nope your environment can play a factor and things that influence in your life."

Stella:"But what's the difference between our races?" Luffy showed them his tail which suprised them

Luffy:"My race normally has black spiky hair and black hair that never grows or changes, puberty don't come until we're 16 and 17, so we look like 10 years old until then, we also don't age until we're in our 80's so no wrinkles until then after that, we age rapidly."

Hearing this some of the women got jealous, as Luffy and Skipper will keep looking as good as they are until their 80's.

Snow:"But Mr.Luffy sir why doesn't Skipper have black hair and eyes. Though it's spikey."

Luffy:"She's a half breed, some features are stronger when they are half breeds."

The raid returned to the guild safely and split up their huge gains equally.

Snow:"Mr.Luffy can I join your party!" said the petite girl with excitement in her face.

Luffy:"Okay."

Dawn:"You made that decision way too fast!" shouted Dawn as she hit Luffy in the head.
