Yun Che and the girl were currently resting in a slum area. After escaping from the Thrones and Overlords using his <Star God's Broken Shadow>, Yun Che only had around 15% of his Qi Reserves left. 

Yun Che would have already ditch them and preserve around 70% of his reserves if his chasers were normal Thrones and Overlords. He didn't know if all of the Cultivators here practiced some unique Profound Arts or not but they somehow kept finding his whereabouts everytime he stopped to rest.

After experiencing this for 3 times, Yun Che realized that he had to put in more effort if he did not want to be captured. Luckily, they lost him in his 4th attempt.

Seeing her big brother's condition, the girl was quite worried

"Big brother… are you okay? Why did all those bad guys chased after us? Did you make trouble again? You don't need to worry about Mia, Mia is fine with the food we have!"

The now named girl, Mia, scolded Yun Che. She didn't want her dear brother to cause trouble again for her sake.

"It's fine Mia, i'm pretty strong! Those guys are only lucky they have more people with them."

Yun Che replied with confidence in his voice.

"Hmph! you're only lucky they spared you! What if they sent in more powerful people huh?! You would get beaten up again!"

Mia punched her tired brother, this arrogant prick of a brother needed to have common sense beaten into his bones!

"oww… okay okay I won't find trouble again, let's find a safe place first okay? I heard the Demon Army is invading."

Hearing his serious tone and the word 'Demon Army' together with 'invade' made Mia paled in fright.

"Are you serious?! You better not joke around about this! Do you know everyone will beat you up if u say this?!"

As Yun Che convinces Mia. Something else, which is more ridiculous than a flying femenis- I mean pigs, is happening.

"So you're telling me… That the boy was found… assaulting?... the girl he was kidnapping… Under your bed…"

The King asked his favorite daughter while the Queen and the 10 Judgement Saints were nearby, listening to this bizarre incident.

Elizabeth's face still red and she replied with anger

"Yes Father! That evil creature actually dared to rope a young maiden right under our noses! We must capture this pervert before he does any more harm!"

"..." (King)

"..." (Queen)

"..." (Saints)

"..." (Royal Guards)

"..." (Goddess Of A Million Virtues)

The Castle was unusually quiet right now…

"Are you really sure?" 

The King found this too ridiculous for it to be true

"Yes Father! You can ask Claire, she was with me during that time."

Elizabeth hoped Claire would reassure her answer

"It is true your Majesty, we indeed… saw that… happening"

Claire bowed politely as she explained the details. The King still couldn't believe it, he made up in his mind to ask Daedra later.

"For now, the assassin division will search for this youth. Search every house, shops and underground rooms, we must not have any variables during this war. I cannot task other divisions for this so you will only have to make due with it"

"Samuel! You shall lead the Assassin's division. Make sure to find him before the war gets too intense."

"Yes my King!"

Samuel knelt down and showed his loyalty.

"Father, I wish to-"

"No! It is too dangerous for you right now, you will only be in the castle or by my side during this war."

"Bu-"

"That is my final order! Go back to your room."

"Yes father…"

On the Northern City Walls, thousands of armored troops were standing on it. Some wore leather and cloth armor while the stronger ones wore metal armors with some even having Profound Qi radiating out from them.

While they were equipped with high grade items, they couldn't stop their fear from showing on their faces. Everyone except the most experienced men had pale faces.

The Demon Army's reputation was quite fearsome, it was said that they fear nothing even if 80% of them were wiped out. They didn't back off until either they died or their enemies died.

They were still 'living' creatures and needed food, or rather energy to stay alive. Once this energy ran out, they would die just like any human would.

If they have enough energy, their stamina would also never run out unlike humans. They were the perfect kingdoms-wipe-out-army.

Even the Kingdom of Xestroth, the strongest Kingdom in the past thousand years, would need their full effort to face this Army. And nobody still could not know which one will come out on top.

In the distance, tiny dots started to appear. They were small but there were too many to count. The horizon was soon painted black.

This was the Demon Army.

Demonic beast, humanoids and birds covered everyone's view. All the people could see was the black dots growing bigger and bigger until they formed into Demonic Creatures.

The soldier's fear grew bigger and bigger when they saw such high numbers of Demonic Creatures. Some of the veterans also had fear sprouting in their hearts.

Most of them had a single question,

'Can we survive this?'

Seeing the people panicking, the King stepped up and voiced out

"My people! Are you all scared of this Demon Army?"

Using the Qi, the King's voice reached everyone's ears. When the soldiers heard their King, they were afraid that if they answered their real thoughts, they would be executed immediately.

Everyone stayed silent

The King expected this and continued

"It is okay to be scared sometimes."

The soldiers were shocked, they didn't expect this coming out from their King

"But this is not the time!"

"If you really are scared about this Demon Army."

"Think about your families! What would happen if the Demon Army successfully invade our city?!"

"Your Family will be killed! And that is not the worse of it, I heard there are those Demonic Humanoids that likes to rape and sully the women and girls!"

"Do you want that to happen to your mother, sister or daughter?! I certainly do not!"

"I shall fight for not only our survival but also for my family and my proud people!"

"Now tell me! Are you scared of this Demon Army?! Do you want to protect your family?! Do you want your family to stay happy?! Tell me!"

The soldiers looked determined, all of their previous fear and hesitation dissipated. Their eyes were full of fighting intent.

"YES! WE SHALL FIGHT FOR OUR FAMILIES!"

"Good! Now ring the bells and fight for our families!"

"Fight For Xestroth!"

"FOR XESTROTH!"

With that speech, the war between the strongest Kingdom and the Demon Army has started.
