But, he was given another chance to live his again, this time, as a bus driver in…a fantasy world? He literally woke up on a bus in another world as a young bus driver. Grasping on that opportunity, he is now living his new life in a new strange world, filled with monsters and magic. Along the way, he took in a snow village girl named Azalea, a low-ranked adventurer named Adrian Paulton, who was betrayed by his hero party in a dungeon, and a pair of twin dragon girls, Rai and Ria. They are now his new party and family. Together, they traveled the world in the form of routes, picking up passengers of different races and socioeconomic backgrounds and dropping them off at their destinations of different kinds. Also, he discovered that he wasn’t alone in being reincarnated in that world: he was part of a class of creatures known as Renad. That group has different backgrounds of their previous lives, different ways they died, and best of all, different abilities, skills, and even equipment.

Chapter 83 –Kane's Missing Horse Carriage

Third person POV

Russell and his group saw him. "Oh, hey there," Russell said to him.

"Are you a Renad, May-san?" Sylas asked Russell.

Russell said yes, and Nathan added, "Me too, as well!"

Sylas is amazed and tells them, "Wow, you guys are awesome!"

The demon boy dressed in messenger's attire had luckily heard of their abilities from Caspian, who remained at home doing his homework.

Nathan mentioned his Primary Novel ability, and then, Russell mentioned his as well.

Sylas got that and revealed to them that…

"I am not a human, actually," Sylas said, "but a demon."

Russell and his group were stunned.

 "Woah, what?"

 "Really?"

Sylas then solemnly nodded. "Yes, and I have been living here for 3 years now as Mr. Kane's messenger."

Cassius, who had known about him before, told Russell and the others that demons are from the Northern Territory, which used to be ruled by one Malarka Danwe, who was sealed away 1,000 years ago. At this point, the Northern Territory had been ruled by Malarka's subordinates all this time. Because of that, Russell and the others sympathize with Sylas, and Sylas promises that he will be good and doesn't do bad stuff to humans or to any other races. And so, Sylas becomes their friend who is a demon, and Cassius finds him better than the majority of the demons.

After that, Russell and Adrian went on a short walk across the park so Adrian could have a private talk. Adrian expressed his gratefulness to him for saving and defending him from his former party. Russell smiled at him. "Yes, you're welcome my friend."

"Also, what does your life back in your previous world look like?" Adrian asked, wondering about Russell's previous life as Benjamin Taklaw.

Russell then revealed a summarized version of his previous life, including his background in terms of his childhood, nationality, and culture.

Adrian was amazed at his background back in his previous life, commenting on how that had shaped his personality and character.

Russell confirmed it as true.

Upon walking by a seemingly empty lot secluded by some tenement buildings, the pair found out something: a horse carriage that was elaborate and luxurious. Some men with weapons are enjoying their afternoon time by eating, talking, and laughing. Russell noticed that it had the same crest as Kane's on his noble's attire. "Is that…Kane-san's horse carriage?" Russell luckily remembered the Taqua family's crest having a Phoenix and a blue serpent intersecting in the middle bottom, complete with 1 metal sword and 1 metal spear intersecting in the middle top. Now remembering what Nathan had told them about Kane and his small entourage being robbed earlier, the young bus driver and his friend concluded that the horse carriage, complete with two white horses, was Kane's stolen carriage, and those bandits are the ones who stole it.

But Russell and Adrian didn't want to make a scene and needed to confirm the horse carriage's description to Kane first.
