They are now his new party and family. Together, they traveled the world through routes, picking up passengers of different races and socioeconomic backgrounds and dropping them off at their destinations of different kinds. Also, he discovered that he wasn’t alone in being reincarnated in that world: he was part of a class of creatures known as Renad. That group has different backgrounds of their previous lives, different ways they died, and best of all, different abilities, skills, and even equipment. And also, the fantasy world will have evil entities and an organization named the Square Order of the Squirrel, whose primary goal is to free the demon king, Malarka, from the seal that sealed him 1,000 years before.

Chapter 161 - A Repairman

Third person POV

Not long after, Russell took Masha to his bus and said to her, "Hop in." As obedient as she was, Masha did so, and Russell went second. Inside the bus, John woke up by the footsteps from the bus's steps and looked at it, only to see that his master had brought an elf girl in. "Um, master, who's that person?"

"John, meet Masha Karoon, an elf girl slave," Russell said to him. "Be nice to her."

He then looked at Masha. "Masha, this is John, my pet Dark Wolf. Be nice to him."

"It is a pleasure to meet you, John," Masha calmly and briefly responded to Jon with a solemn, quick bow.

"Welcome, Masha." John was nice to her.

With that, Russell gave Masha a sit in the front row and sat down in his driver's seat, before turning on his bus's engine.

All of them then left the place.

Along the way, the group picked up some passengers heading for the Southern Plains. Russell made his next destination as Fort Right via Rossley and Ionawood City. The trip took 1 hour and 37 minutes to finish, and Russell earned a lot of money along the way through fares. Masha was stunned at his occupation while sitting in her seat. Also along the way, Russell bought some snacks for her, as well as some clothes and a few, portable items for her, much to Masha's overwhelming gratefulness. She tried to refuse those things, but Russell insisted to have them since she will be taken care of by him. Masha, as obedient as she was before, accepted it.

And so, later, at 6:26 p.m., the bus arrived at Russell's estate home, and all of them got off. Russell and Masha carried Russell's stuff and went to the house of Russell May. Inside the main house, the dragon family and Azalea were stunned to see that their friends had brought an elf girl.

 "Who's that girl?"

 "She looked dirty and dilapidated…"

Russell and Masha then introduced Masha to them and told them that she is their new friend and to be nice to her, before Russell explained how he had met her in the first place.

A few minutes later, the others, except for Masha herself, were shocked at Masha's sad past and upbringing that ended her being sold off by her gambling and drunken uncle.

 "No way!"

 "Humans can be that cruel!"

"Man, that guy was so selfish!"

"Yes, but she is now free because I bought her," Russell responded.

"So she's your slave, right?" Kelly asked a question.

"Yes." Russell then nodded, before thinking of any other opportunity for Masha. "But I was thinking about any other opportunity for her…"

 "Like what?" Azalea responded back.

"Well, I can enroll her into an academy and…"

And then, an idea struck Russell's mind like a lightning bolt, and Russell said to them. "I know! I'll train her to be a repairman for my bus."

His friends were taken aback by it.

 "Woah…"

 "A repairman?"

 "What is that?"

"Well…" Russell said, "…it is someone who repairs anything that requires repairs and maintenance, like vehicles."

His friends then got that for a bit and eventually agreed with his idea.

Russell also decided to enroll Masha in the Outer District's academy after teaching her the basics of repairing engines.

And so, after that, Russell gave Masha one of the rooms of his house for her to live in. This time, Masha accepted it without question and settled into her noble-like room with her new belongings. Later on, she ate with him and his friends in the dining room. She ate well, and the food was that between a peasant's and a noble's. She tasted them good, having a nice meal after years of surviving on his uncle's food scraps, and was happy for it. Russell and his friends were happy for her.

The next day, while somewhere in the Southern Plains, Russell taught her the basics of repairing engines with his tools. Masha was stunned, but as obedient as she was, she paid close attention. Russell gave some demonstrations of his bus's engine, using his repair tools to show her how to repair it. Masha was then given some of the tools, and Russell told her to try adjusting some of the engine's components carefully. Masha did so with great carefulness. Then, Russell turned on the engine, and it ran without a hitch. When Russell gave her a thumbs-up, Masha's face brightened, knowing that she had earned her new master's approval for her hard work. So, she began to embrace her new role as Russell's repairman. But she didn't know that Russell had something else for her later on…
