Chapter 12: Kyoya's First Day of School

Laying in his bed Kyoya contemplated what he learned today plus what he knew. It seems someone sealed off his memories.

How he came to such a conclusion, you might ask. Elementary my dear readers!

He remembered his past memories he forgotten from his past life. Due to his Int stat being in the sixties his memories are literally in 4k.

This earned him +1 Wis and Int.

"Something happened during that time." says Kyoya.

(How are you going to deal with it?) asked Ddraig. But he simply smiled confidently.

"Isn't it simple, I'll deal with like any other anime protagonist." a smirk appeared on his face.

"I'll just do the 'deal with it when it comes plan'!" says Kyoya. Ddraig had nothing to say he really had nothing.

(You know what. Good night partner.) said Ddraig.

There was no way to avoid a plot so he'll deal with it when it comes.

The next day rolled around and Kyoya was up early making breakfast, Mikoto walked out her hair a mess and wearing little clothes.

"You should wear more clothes you know." say Kyoya as he flipped a pancake.

His aunt simply yawned and replied. "Uh-huh? Yeah whatever." she waved him away.

Sighing he gave his aunt her breakfast. The began eating, Mikoto had a look of utter bliss throughout the entire meal.

After a filling meal Kyoya gave her square object wrapped into a box. "Here's your lunch." he said as he gave it to her.

"Your making me a lunch box now? What are you my Mom?" she says jokingly.

"No but you did raise and love me for over 7 years, you sacrificed a lot for me. And for that I'm greatful. I'll repay you by taking care of you for however long I can." said Kyoya with a straight face.

"T-thank you." says Mikoto. Kyoya got up an started doing the dishes. Looking at his back Mikoto smiled with a blush on her face.

At first he was just like a little brother to her. She promised her elder sister, she'd take care of him after she died. Just like her adopted parents did for her.

But now a warm feeling couldn't help blossom into her heart as she looked at his back.

'When did the little baby Kyoya look so manly?!' she thought as her mind went back to the time Kyoya was a toddler compared to now.

A bit later, Kyoya was stepping out, it was currently 7:30am the assembly starts at 8 and class a bit after, well there's no classes on the first day, but whatever.

"Later Aunt Mikoto!" says Kyoya, school ends by 3 so he'll arrive before her.

Stepping out he saw Haruhi stepping out as well. "Morning Mimina-san." says Kyoya.

"Geez! I said call me Haruhi!" she says with a pout. Honestly it was cute.

"Sorry it's just been 3 days since we met. Still not used to calling you by your given name." I apologized, with a stone face. This is habit I had before reincarnating.

"You have cold look again. You should really show more expression you know." she says with another cute pout.

"Uh-huh? I'll do that when you stop being so adorable." muttered Kyoya under his breath.

"Eh!?" Haruhi blinked for a couple of seconds, as she stood there in shock. "Haruhi your spacing out let's go." said Kyoya as the two began walking.

Watching from behind the door was Mikoto, who saw the scene. Her hand clutched her chest.

For some reason she didn't know she felt a bit angry. Sighing she closed the door.

With Kyoya and Haruhi.

The two kept walking an awkward silence, between the two. "So about me being adorable." says Haruhi.

"Adorable? Did I say that. I don't remember?" says Kyoya feigning ignorance.

A pout appeared on Haruhi's face, as she playfully hits Kyoya. "Jerk!"

A slight smile made it's way onto Kyoya's face. Soon the two came across other students walking towards the academy.

It didn't take long for a gigantic western castle to be seen, the gates were also huge. Kyoya's eye couldn't help but twitch.

"What the hell!" were the only words that came out of his mouth.

"Impressed huh? Welcome to Aoidenki Academy!"
