Chapter 2: Escape Pt.1

Authors note: I hope y'all know I can see when you add a book to your collection don't think I haven't noticed that when I posted this my other "book" suddenly got a lot more none of us are free of sin.

As we go high into the clouds of the Candy Kingdom, we can see, above it all, in the heart of the tree, a skeleton in amber. It's constantly growing and shrinking, and fading almost as if it were fog. But let's focus on another place now…

SCENE CHANGE:

*POV: Narrator

As we go into the Candy Kingdom, we zoom in on a balcony and see three people: the Queen of the Candy Kingdom, Princess Bubblegum (PB from now on), and the heroes of Ooo, Finn and Jake. We can see them meditating calmly. As they were meditating, PB suddenly stood up and said a few words to Finn and Jake then eventually led to them slowly floating up in a bubble.

(Some time before)

*POV: Lich

How did he do that?? As I reviewed Mark's memories, I am stuck with a sudden realization... I don't know how to turn into a non-physical being, y'know, the only way the original Lich escaped... And on that note, how can he influence his control? 'Kneel' is cool and all, but how the absolute fuck did he do that?! (╯°□°)╯ As I contemplated this, I realized another thing... Can't I just look at the Lich's memories?.

Anyway, as I reviewed the Lich's memories, I came across his method. You just need to imagine yourself and your magical fire as something more... mist-like. Yeah, mist-like. So, I gave it a shot and started with my arm. After a few minutes, I got it done! And then, after about 20 minutes, I managed to transform my whole body. It was kind of surprising, to be honest. I thought it would take longer. But hey, maybe it's not so bad considering I'm still the Lich, just not fully sorted out yet.

Anyway, as I enter and de-enter mist form, I can't help but think, 'Isn't this broken? Why was this hardly used? Almost like someone was limiting the Lich because they didn't think ahead when they made it??' Anyway, as I have miscellaneous thoughts, I came to yet another sudden realization. 'I swear, with all these realizations I'm having, I'm gonna reach nirvana in the hour.' Anyway, as I came to the realization that I still don't know how to do the cool-looking mind powers, I thought, 'You know what? I'll just wing it.'¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And I go back to "magic" practicing.
