Reunion
Alex turned to the frozen Becky after Abel finally got out of sight.
" Umm, hello?" He flashed an awkward smile and waved in front of her.
"A…Alex?" Becky called out in almost what seemed like a whisper.
Alex smiled in return, not saying anything but his smile could not be less assuring than any words he would say.
He suddenly saw her hand move and in a fluid movement, reached his face.
Slap!
A slap landed on Alex's cheek, forcing him to look sideways and before he could react to it a figure crashed into him as two slender hands wrapped around his body.
Becky threw herself at him and held him in a tight embrace, pressing herself against his body so hard like she wanted to merge into him while her soft sobbing voice drifted into Alex's ears.
"What…what took you so long?!" Becky asked as she cried, her voice drowning with a torrent of emotions and almost making her words crack.
